Hey Chris, I really enjoy all the pond builds and the work that goes into them. I'm betting that many folks / regular viewers would really appreciate a revisit or a brief update of the deep pond you did behind a big barn, seeing it full and a walk-around would be awesome to see. You really don't get to fully appreciate until the final phase when a pond is full and everything around it is green and grown in. It's like the last part of the story being left out.
Chris does that when he gets permission to. The last mega large pond/lake he did with his Uncle John where they struggled with the swampy end he did go back and show us a year later. It was absolutely amazingly beautiful. Big enough to land an ultralight seaplane on and safely take off from.
I agree but its the same as I deal with, if i ever see the project again later on something went wrong. You cant just walk onto private property just because you did work there.
@@RayPickens-hu1pj Chris usually gives us regular viewers follow ups every now and then when he has spare time and with owners permission. Nobody in their right mind would even half expect Chris to just up and trespass on private property just to make me and other viewers happy.
Grading out that pond is like a giant in-ground sculpture! So soothing to watch! And yes; I remember that very first venture into the swampy wilderness back then.
What a lovely piece of property this has turned into. From a swamp to usable land, excellent job. Thanks for sharing, Chris. Thanks for letting the little kid in all of us enjoy the big equipment working.
You are a master at your trade Chris. Having followed you from day 1 at this site, it blows me away to see how it now looks. It was a total swampy mess, covered in trees and brush. Wow, how you’ve turned this place around. A job to be truly proud of. I bet the owner is blown away as well.
Hi Chris, I remember when you and John were employed to fix someone else’s job, to dig up large concrete pipes that had been incorrectly placed with the bells set down backwards which cause them to leak. Roz from Oz
Really is a wonderful thing to watch you work, Chris. Seems that any machine you sit in becomes an extension of yourself with almost no time at all...only another few thousand hours and I might become close to as good as you are...
Your videos are a master class on attention to detail and a service with a focus on your clients! Your projects are remarkable... and I, for one, appreciate you taking us along! Best wishes.
It's amazing to see perfect work outcome. Many other construction contractors cannot compare efficiency to how your jobs normally turn out. Swamp to usable land, great property management.
Chris another beautiful pond, you don’t waste any time building them! With your talent and equipment you have you make it look easy! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
I Remember When You Started On This Job, Where Your At And The Whole Area Was Nothing But A "SWAMP" And That's Being Nice!! The Difference Is Truly Amazing !! I Remember The Guy Had A Deer Stand Down On The End!! Chris I Hope This Job Turned Out The Way The Owner Had Envisioned!! Truly A Piece Of "ART WORK" Well Done Sir, Well Done!! I Wish You And Your Family A Very Happy Labor Day!! Stay Dry, Cool And "SAFE" Later Brother!!
Hi Chris i remember the first day's when you stated working on this job and my goodness what a transformation your now not wading about in deep water now, i never thought it would be this dry you have done a fantastic job for this customer clearing the trees and digging the ditches out and leveling the site, thank's for another great video looking forward to the collapsed pond dam job.
I am a dedicated viewer of your site.. What separates you from others with similar content is your video is focused on the work you are doing. Other sites seem to focus less on the work being done and more on the personalities / interaction of the characters which is not interesting... Keep up the fantastic video's, they are one of the high points of my day.... Thanks a million...
I really enjoy your pond creations … you don’t goof off! A bit of chit-chat, then let’s get to work!! As I drive around and see a Volvo or dozer.. I look for the numbers .. today I saw a 305 excavator.. understanding new things is fascinating!! Thanks, Chris!! Greetings from GB, Wisc
It's so satisfying watching you work. Curious though, why not dig the pond all the way to the road, use the road as the damn and eliminate having the ditch. I always feel when it comes to ponds, the bigger the better.
Chris You can Building Ponds in all Class and Each is a Unique Work, what Perfect in the Background appropiate. This Pond in a Year to see, from great Interesting. Thanks for this Video. 👌
Might as well be the laser! Was going to remark you've been trouble free (knock on wood) for a bit. Just the excavator hose, emission sensor and the other dozer hose at Beally Good property.
Oh Yeah, That looks really, really good Chris !! And you haven't even put the final finish on it yet. Ya got that touch man !! lolol... Make it look so good with that finish Dozer !! Great as Always, Have a Great Evening, And, On to the Next !!
I would say having the 350 on this pond dig probably helped you knock off a few days of digging that 350 can move some dirt quickly no doubt about that.
Hi Chris, are you having Robert make the part for the haul truck ? You are doing a magnificent job with that pond and all of the landscaping. That is going to be a beautiful place to put a house over looking the pond. Nice job, sir. You do remarkable things with machines. You are the conductor of your inspiration. May God bless you. 🙌

Would love to see the two ponds built using the Volvo 550.
That place is starting to look real good. So much better than the first time you were there. I never thought it would look that good. Good job!

Another professional pond build in the books .
Simple design to the pond but you still made it have a unique look to it!!’ Can’t wait to see the finished product!!

Chris, you are a artist when you finish up a pond. Everything looks fantastic. Yeah, talk to the "HELP" about where they leave equipment lol.
Dealing with the mistakes the crew makes when you work alone is pretty easy and a short conversation. Usually not a lot of backtalk.
It’s a great day with a LetsDig18 Video ❤❤❤
Chris the artist👨🎨🎨puts the final touches on this pond built from nothing🙌
He is the Bob Ross of pond building
that is the longest culvert pipe I have ever seen you do, turned out perfect, top soil envy, it is beautiful stuff.. thanks for sharing Chris
That 350 has definitely made building a pond much faster than ever. You can move more dirt in half the time as the 220.
Looks great, bet that little pond is going to picture perfect when filled and grass grows around it. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.

Nice pond and grounds. Thanks for the video. Chris you have your work lined up. May get a day off for Thanksgiving dinner. Take care.

By next summer that place will look like a golf course. 👍
Looking awesone!!
I couldn’t help but notice the old pipe wound up almost where it started 😂. You just never know lol.
The pond is looking great
You like everything to be just right and have the ability to accomplish that. Good work.

AWSOME AGAIN my friend 😀 ❤️ Let's Dig,,Over and Over again!
Chris I remember what you said for any one just starting out in laying pipe not to do as you do because they could crush it .
Again,top shelf work,great looking outcomes
Wow, looks great. 😊
Looks great Chris . That’s another you could take us back to if customer didn’t mine..💯💯
Another beautiful job soon to be finished. Awesome!!!
Hey Chris, it's interesting, Iee have both a Caterpillar factory and a Komatsu factory in my city, Peoria IL.

welp now you've got the articulation bearing/bushing on the overland truck.
I reckon the guy bought that property at a bargain basement price when it was a swamp. With Chris's skill it's been transformed :)
That's a $100k pond though.
@@paulcoote3094 Added value... It'll look great from the new house
Good evening Chris glad you're back a pleasure to watch
Good work Pond Master.
Lookin' good!
What a great job! I love it!
Looks like the owner needs to put in a well to help keep the pond filled. Great job!
He might not need to- eastern NC gets a lot of rain
Could you do a video series on all the steps for one of the projects from start to finish
Thanks
LetsDig18!

MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
Good job Chris

Hello Chris, question on your pond builds,on your over flow pipes at the the inlet do you worry about the chances of water intrusion around the pipe 🤔
Sorry I late boss 😮flooded roads ,had to detour 32 miles to get to work😅

we know who did it Chris it was you that put the laser in the way for shame lol good job with another pond bild
That pipe = $$$$$$$
$300/20 ft stick
@@nandi123it wasnt that long ago ipriced some for a 700’ job i want to do on my property, it was 160 a stick. That job aint happenin’ anytime soon!
I would like to see the pond and surrounding area after the pond fills up and the grass grows in.
Looks awesome! When are you starting the pond with the 25ft pond damn? Can’t wait for that one!
Storm brewing off of the Texas Louisiana coast. Could turn into a tropical storm and flow your way around mid to late this week.
lot of dirt in a small amount of time, payments being made, nice
👍👍
Way to save the existing pipe. This area is nothing like from before when you came out and put in trenches…crazy.
hey chris i was just wondering how come you didnt get an ami bucket for the 350 but instead went with the volvo bucket?
THANKS!
🙂
👍✌
HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT WILL TAKE TO FILL THIS POND?
Should have stockpiled some clay for house pad and topsoil to skimcoat around slab.
i kinda miss the old days slinging mud on matts - any dredging jobs comming up other than the money pit that keeps on giving
That rose colored tint on the bottom front cab window of the 220 needs to go!
Good job man
Hired help doesn’t worry about where they lay sensitive equipment, they don’t have to pay for it! 🤣😂🤣
