Thank you very much for sharing this great concert by The Ventures. His effort to record without a tripod is understandable. The important thing is the recording of the group from The Ventures, I could never see them live even when I was living in their country for 5 and a half years. But with this recording it gave me the perfect atmosphere to see them in a live performance. Thank you very much and congratulations. it is a recording worth having. I am a lifelong fan of The Ventures, and because of them I became a lyrical musician and I play a lot of their music.

Dave, thanks for posting this. Thanks to you, we get to hear the actual sound from this show. The CD that was released in 2002 called Live in Seattle was obviously overdubbed because the guitar and bass sounds nothing like this video. In fact for some reason, known only to the producers, they either had Nokie play thru a flanger or added it post production. So, thanks again for posting this.😁

RIP Nokie Edwards. One of the greatest guitarists ever. I wouldn't mind seeing Zoe Mccollough step into his shoes. She must have learned under Nokie. Sounds very close to him.
I helped open EMP to the public. Being a Visitor Services Representative there for four years was the best day job I ever had. They hired people who really knew music, who loved to share it with everyone who visited. Then, Paul Allen started massive layoffs. Eventually, 99% of the brain trust had been replaced by temporary workers with no benefits.

Nokie just didnt posess that ear to make his playing sound as good as Bob. Nokie didnt use sound effects to their best potential. He could play the notes but just didnt have the ear for it.
And then there were none . May they all RIP . Great keepsake Video of the Greatest Instrumental Group of All Time .
