I’m glad I can help! I believe it’ll be the same process! The one in the video is a 2015, so they should be similar! Let me know if you have any questions!
@@TinkeringWithT Hi, thank you for responding. I uploaded a video on my UA-cam videos regarding that part. Can you please take a look to see if you can help me where it goes?
@@dagaalo No problem! Yes, that is the transmission vent pipe. One end goes into the transmission, and the other end is not supposed to be connected to anything!
Amazing video. I have a 14 Countryman s, been searching literally for hours for a video past the 2013 models. I love how you mentioned the Torque. Where did you find that information? I've searched all threads and videos with no luck. I'm also trying to find the torque on the oil filter housing to block and the cooler housing to oil filter housing nuts. Any chance you would know these?
Hmmm if I remember correctly there are two vacuum lines that I had to unplug. One went to the turbo, and the other went somewhere above the thermostat housing. Ill have to go look at it to refresh my memory
I have a question, I am replacing my thermostat housing and the new one seems to have a rattling noise inside when I shake it. Is that normal? The old one doesn't have that noise.
Sorry for the late response! Could be normal, it could be the internals of the thermostat wiggling around a bit. As long as it doesn’t sound like something is loose/broken inside, I’d say it’s ok. Hope the project goes well!
Would this be the same for a 2018 model?
Thanks for this video. Any chance these are the same steps for a 2014 Cooper Countryman?
