My Brilliant Friend is so good! So amazing but the issue is that to really understand the full impact, you’re going to have to read all of them. If you don’t like reading series, you can read book 1 and stop, but if you want to read the series, you absolutely have to commit

If I see a Reese sticker on the book then I automatically know it’s boring and would be a waste of my time. I’ve read sooo many of them to give the club another chance. I always finished them wondering how someone who has played such good and intriguing characters could pick books with such bland and boring ones.
Have you tried Seven Days in June? I really liked it, and I know Jack did as well. Looking at the full list, another one I liked was Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, and she rarely misses with her YA picks.

So the celebrity Jack couldn’t identify is Jenna Bush…and I ended up in her book club. Which is funny because I don’t really like her personally, and her book club doesn’t especially appeal to me either. 😒 But then again, my literary likes are all over the board, and almost no one’s book clubs appeal to me, so I just keep reading what I like. But this was fun!🎉😂

I think the only celebrity book club I ever followed was Emma Watson's, like years ago. But I can't tell if I'm surprised that I got Reese Witherspoon's club or not. I have loved/been interested in some of her book picks, but none of the big ones.
