All man-made systems of Bible interpretation are revealed not by the scripture quoted by its proponents, but rather by the scripture they must ignore to make it work. Because the time of the judgment of the dead, with reward for some and destruction for others is found in Revelation 11:15-18, we know the Book of Revelation cannot be in chronological order. In 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 Paul said Christ returns "in flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not know God. The fire comes at the end of Revelation 20. In 2 Timothy 4:1 Paul said both the living and the dead are judged at Christ's appearing. The judgment is at the end of Revelation 20. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not locked before that time? Why does the beast ascend out of the pit in Revelation 11:7? Why are there no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46? Because the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 are bodily resurrected from the dead, we know the "first resurrection" in Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation. Are there two different types of resurrection in John 5:24-30, with one being spiritual?
@@SpotterVideo I believe it is in chronological order, just not straight through... similarly to the Book of Daniel. It is chronological from 1-11, and 12-22 are also chronological, but they do not line up perfectly. @@jswhosoever4533 Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.
Well Jesus said this about the second advent "for the son of man shall come in the glory of His father with his holy angels and reward each according to his works. Assuredly, I say to you some of you standing here shall not taste death till you see the son of man coming in his kingdom." On September 10, 2001 I was reading Dr. Martin’s book on kingdom of the Cults and had just finished reading the section on Islam before going to bed. I had never heard of Islam until that time and we all know what happened the next morning. I’m sad to see he was against pretrib rapture....
I praise God for Dr. Martins teachings and for his perseverance and honesty with the Word, but I don't thing he had it quite right. I see that the signs that accompany the coming of the Lord are in Revelation 6 after the sixth seal is broken and the result of the rapture is in chapter 7. I believe the tribulation period is only half of Daniel's 70th week and the rest of it (roughly 3 1/2 years) is when the wrath of God is poured out upon those who missed the rapture. So in short, we will see the tribulation but will be spared from God's wrath.

Wrong exegesis! The abomination of desolation (AOD) are the armies that surrounds Jerusalem. The AOD is not a person (Anti-Christ). 1. The Prince in the context of the passage in Daniel 9:25 is "Messiah the Prince" and not Titus. Titus came to Judea with his father Vespasian. Both were only generals then, instructed by Emperor Nero to bring the Jewish to a brutal end. They were not princes when they came to besiege Jerusalem at that time. And the 70 weeks is a prophecy concerning Christ and not concerning a Roman Prince or the Anti-Christ. 2. The Abomination of Desolation is the Roman armies that surrounded and besieged Jerusalem during the first Jewish-Roman War of 67-73 AD.. Compare: Luke 21:20-21 with: Matthew 24:15-16. The version in Luke is a paraphrasing of the passage in Matthew for the sake of his Gentile readers whereas Matthew is writing to Jewish readers. Luke 21:20-21 20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. 21 Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city; Matthew 24:15-16 15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. For Luke the Christians in Judea should flee to the mountains if they see the ARMIES surrounding JERUSALEM. For Matthew the Christians in Judea should flee to the mountains if they see the ABOMINATION THAT CAUSE DESOLATION standing in the HOLY PLACE Therefore, the armies that surrounded Jerusalem (Holy Place) in 70 AD is the Abomination of Desolation (or that causes desolation/destruction). Also, the "Abomination of Desolation" is the same as the "People of the Prince" in Daniel 9:26 who come to destroy the city of Jerusalem and the Temple (sanctuary) Daniel 9:26 26 Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. Both the abomination of desolation (destruction) and the People of the Prince and the armies that surrounded/besieged Jerusalem in 70 AD caused the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. They were the same agent of destruction sent by King Jesus (the Messiah the Prince) who told the Jews that their temple (house) is left to them desolate. It was his judgment of the Jews who rejected and crucified him. Christ also told them in a parable (Matthew 21:38-41) what God the Father (the owner of the vineyard) would do to them if they kill his son (Jesus). Matthew 21:38-41 38 But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?” 41 They *said to Him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.” The Jews knew Jesus was talking about them: Matthew 21:45-46 45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them. 46 When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet. Jesus threatened terrible judgment of the unbelieving Jews, their city of Jerusalem and the Temple ("your house is left unto you desolate") He said, "these things will come upon this generation." Matthew 23:34-38 34 “Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city, 35 so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. 37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. 38 Behold, your house is being left to you desolate!
csdr0, 1. Messiah the Prince in Dan 9:25 is certainly Jesus Christ, so the Messiah who gets killed in Dan 9:26a is also Jesus, but the prince of the people who shall come and destroy the city and sanctuary refers to Gen. Titus. Vespasian gave Titus the armies and went to Rome to become Emperor, so by the time his son destroyed Jerusalem and the Second Temple, he was a prince in that he was son of the Emperor. So then the people of the prince that shall come refers to Roman legions. 2. The sign of the abomination of desolation in Matt 24 is incompatible with the sign of armies surrounding Jerusalem in Luke 21. The sign in Luke was fulfilled in 66 AD, but the Romans soon left and the early church moved away. The sign in Matt 24 refers to the abomination of desolation that Dan 9:27 says will be setup on a wing of the Temple, but the Romans did not reach the Temple until most Jews had already died, and escape was impossible (in 70 AD). Also, Jews called the Temple the “holy” place not the city wall, and they called the Holy of Holies the “holy holy”. And they destroyed the Second Temple, so the prophesies of the abomination of desolation cannot be fulfilled until Israel builds the tribulation temple. Dan 9, 12, Matt 24, 2 Thess 2, and Rev 13 say it will be setup by the second beast at the temple to honor the first beast, and he will declare himself God in it, then he will rule the world for 42 months. Then Jesus will return and destroy them and setup his own Millennium kingdom. If you witness Israel building the tribulation temple, I suggest you learn faith in the rapture rescue before the great tribulation.
The Lord Jesus Christ was teaching the apostles ( Jews ) His second coming to world The apostle Paul was teaching on the rapture of the church There is a great difference between the 2nd coming and rapture of the church 1 Corinthians 15 : 51 - 58 Phil 3 : 20 , 21 1st thess 4 ; 13 - 18 etc This is the rapture of the church or else we need not read the inspired writings of Paul
Jeremiah 30:7. The church wasn't here for the first 69 weeks of years and isn't mentioned to John in the things which must be hereafter. Israel (Jacob) didn't give the land its sabbatical rest for 490 years. The judgement for that falls to them.
J. Dwight Pentecost does a thorough analysis of the variously held views (Things to Come). Remember folks, it's not a salvation issue. Seems more like a works righteousness problem.
Actually in scripture the first mention of the second coming is in Matthew 13:36-43 The modern pre-trib rapture view is the complete opposite of what Christ clearly taught. The living unsaved(the tares)will be killed by the Holy Angels first, then will be the great harvest of the wheat and he will gather them into his barn(New Jerusalem) This is further supported by Paul in 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-10 1st Thessalonians 4:14-18 1st Thessalonians 5:1-3

Wrong exegesis! The abomination of desolation (AOD) are the armies that surrounds Jerusalem. The AOD is not a person (Anti-Christ).

Luke 21:20-21
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near.
21 Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city;
Matthew 24:15-16
15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
For Luke the Christians in Judea should flee to the mountains if they see the ARMIES surrounding JERUSALEM.
For Matthew the Christians in Judea should flee to the mountains if they see the ABOMINATION THAT CAUSE DESOLATION standing in the HOLY PLACE
Therefore, the armies that surrounded Jerusalem (Holy Place) in 70 AD is the Abomination of Desolation (or that causes desolation/destruction).
Also, the "Abomination of Desolation" is the same as the "People of the Prince" in Daniel 9:26 who come to destroy the city of Jerusalem and the Temple (sanctuary)
Daniel 9:26
26 Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.
Matthew 21:38-41
38 But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’
39 They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40 Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?”
41 They *said to Him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.”
The Jews knew Jesus was talking about them:
Matthew 21:45-46
45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them.
46 When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet.
Jesus threatened terrible judgment of the unbelieving Jews, their city of Jerusalem and the Temple ("your house is left unto you desolate")
He said, "these things will come upon this generation."
Matthew 23:34-38
34 “Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,
35 so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
36 Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.
38 Behold, your house is being left to you desolate!
csdr0,
Looks like a works salvation . What Bible is he reading out of ?
how so?
Jeremiah 30:7. The church wasn't here for the first 69 weeks of years and isn't mentioned to John in the things which must be hereafter. Israel (Jacob) didn't give the land its sabbatical rest for 490 years. The judgement for that falls to them.
Dispensationlism doesn’t hold to scripture, it is illogical.
Especially when considering dual fulfillment of prophecies not pertaining to Christ
Ronbo Omega doesn’t hold to scripture, he is illogical.
J. Dwight Pentecost does a thorough analysis of the variously held views (Things to Come). Remember folks, it's not a salvation issue. Seems more like a works righteousness problem.
@@F15CEAGLE1 correct. Eschatology is not a salvation issue. Debate yes! Argue no!
Tom read you bible first from top to bottom. Before forming an opinion.
Actually in scripture the first mention of the second coming is in Matthew 13:36-43
The modern pre-trib rapture view is the complete opposite of what Christ clearly taught. The living unsaved(the tares)will be killed by the Holy Angels first, then will be the great harvest of the wheat and he will gather them into his barn(New Jerusalem)
This is further supported by Paul in 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-10
1st Thessalonians 4:14-18
1st Thessalonians 5:1-3
Yes! The ones taken were taken in judgement. As in the days of Moses
Christ returns once. After the tribulation
The enemy is alive and well in the modern church
Crapture
The reformed Amillenial view of eschatology is the most correct, simple and scriptural view. Historic Premils have some good arguments but fall short when it comes to the millennium.
Jesus the Jewish messiah had not died yet! Jesus was speaking to jews only. Prophecy is for Israel not the church.
Heresy
Didn't know that walter martin taught heresy
He didn’t. Did you even bother to listen and check all the references…nope. You are out of your league.
So accurate on the cults yet so deceived by the truth of his own Scriptures! I’m certain he would be quite embarrassed by his failure to properly research this subject, if he were alive today. He failed in listening to temporarily popular & trendy beliefs rather than doing his usual research. Currently , this is the belief of the majority of the fringy believers . Thank you
Jesus for lovingly rescuing your own! Maranatha!
Failure to properly research? Research was the man’s life legacy. You’re embarrassing yourself!
COMPLETELY WRONG!
strongly disagree brother, you need to understand better the book of Zechariahs. your history need be the bible not the reformers, nor any particular time expositions by any one at any given time. peace and blessings to you and anyone in error still about pretribulation.
Scripture to support your case? As in specific verses rather then an entire book please.
@@TheJesse1011 He doesn’t have any scriptures and if he did, they would be selective. Everybody and their brother hates this topic because they don’t want to suffer persecution in this world. But Jesus said, the world hated me and it shall hate you too. In this world, YOU WILL have persecution but take heart, I have overcome the world. Whatever sounds good, people run to.
@@jtb-southphilly I definitely agree with you my brother. My dad doesn't believe in a hell and thinks the church age is over etc. Through studying why i was absolutely shocked at how twisted people can make scripture. Typically need to "re-translate" certain verses to accomplish the act.
@@TheJesse1011 Praying for your dad, brother!
@@jtb-southphilly I appreciate that more then you know brother it's been a journey with him but i just try and bring the Bible out and allow God to speak not me
Eek walter made a lot of errors in this. Very cringy
This is bullshit. Christianity was "invented" by man.....it's all superstition and it's all baseless. There are no "facts" supporting.....any of it.
You have free will and are certainly entitled to your opinion. Just curious why with your POV why you're into this entire video? The Bible talks about the scoffers in the last days.😊
That's an ignorant thing to say. It's a proven fact that Jesus lived, and the apostles really believed what they taught. These facts are heavily supported by history. You're commenting out of your hope that Jesus wasn't real, and your hope that you won't have to stand before God in judgment one day. Do yourself a favor, and do a little research.
