He kept his CHURCH open ,He preached all through the absolute tyrrany of our Governments . He is my example ,he stood his ground in face of persecution from the Governor the his state. I got completely caught up into all this Health wealth prosperity gospel but Jesus saved me March 3, 2002 at 3 o’clock in the morning by his divine work… two years prior he caused me to have a softened heart and turn toward Him in desperation repent for my sins and He only prepared the ground, watered it shined light on it and harvested me in 2002… praise the Lord I’m saved that’s all I know. The best is yet to come I can’t wait for his return!
Fear God and depend on Him for everything 1. Clear your heart of any sin. Is there anything that keeps me from hearing the truth? Confess these sins, repent. 2. Bring your desires to a position of neutrality. God I want what you want. Knowing God's will. 3. Exercise patience to wait in a confident expectation and anticipation of God's action on our behalf. To refuse to run ahead of Him, trying to solve our problems for ourselves. Be willing to wait upon God. 4. Be alert to pressure, external pressure from close people. Be very careful who you listen to. Internal pressure from self. 5. Persistent prayer, continuously pray without ceasing, move from doubt, fear, to begining to trust Him. Trust Him when you have no evidence that God has heard us. Don't move ahead until you get direction. 6 Rest in God's promise. God's Word is God's mind in print, find wisdom for all desicion from there. God's Word sifts our thoughts, builds our Faith in His promise to hear our prayers. 7. Wait for God's peace. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. When I have God's peace I know I have the answer.

I was introduced to the real God of the bible by a man named Philip Hall while serving time in prison here in Colorado. We would listen to John Macarthur and the truth every night or every chance we had on a little radio. It wasn't until some ten plus years later would I realize just how much I was learning, how much I was retaining, and how much both Mr. Macarthur and Philip Hall were transforming my life to live loving Jesus Christ and the truth of this life we live. Speaking for myself, I was dead, a child of disobedience, a son of wrath who could do nothing with my mouth but bring on more corruption. But now I am saved, redeemed, washed in the blood of Christ and do have power, but not my power, rather the same power that God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, works in me, not to bring into existence some worldly affection, works in me to conform me to the image of His Son, to the praise of His glorious grace! Bros & Sis, consider this question: Why do non Catholic Christians believe that the Bible is definitely the inspired scriptures considering that the Bible was searched, sorted, selected, put together and declared to be the final books inspired by God, by the Catholic church from around 25k manuscripts (the original couldn't be found when the time the Bible was being put together). This process was under the guardianship and authority of the Pope. The books of the Bible were chosen and finalized with the authority of the Popes. So, why do non Catholic Christians use this Bible or at least its core (some Christians removed some books and changed some translations), that the Catholic church put together, through the Pope's finality of authority, instead of them just searching, sorting, selecting and putting together their own using their individual consciences and authority as they claim all good Christians can identify truth? The Bible is a Catholic created book and declared the true holy God inspired scriptures by the SOLE authority of the Pope. THEY USE THE CORE OF THIS SAME BIBLE, SO IT IMPLIES THEY BELIEVE THAT THE POPE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DECLARE TRUTH. AND NOW THEY BELIEVE (THIS BELIEF/ FALSE TEACHING/ WRONG LOGIC IS STARTED BY LUTHER) THE POPE DOESN'T HAVE THAT SAME AUTHORITY AS HE HAD WHEN DECLARING THE BIBLE WAS THE TRUE GOD INSPIRED SCRIPTURES, AND THAT ALL TRULY FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS HAVE THAT AUTHORITY. THEN NON CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS EACH HAVE THEIR OWN IDENTIFICATION OF TRUTH AND INTERPRETATION OF THE SCRIPTURES. @@mkmason2002 No brother, he's trying to say that it is impossible to walk with Christ without understanding the pain and real feeling of walking in the path of the Cross, which was surrounded by the most darkest power on earth (in this sermon he used the word "depravity"). That's why Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow him. Only with that way we can really understand about His love and grace. You know, its like you're telling to an orphan friend, that you understand their feeling, while you're still living comfortably with your parents. Sounds like a bull right? And yes, since we all are the descendants of Adam and Eve, we are all depraved. We inherit their sins in our blood. We can't escape that, therefore, we can't become better. We need grace, and the only one who can provide it is Jesus Christ. That's why MacArthur said the notion that you are such a noble person and a champion, is a lie right out of hell. We are all the sons and daughters of evil desire. If we are not, then why even Christ had comes into this world to sacrifice and die at a cross at the first place? I hope you understand this. Because true sons of The Lord know in their deepest mind, that no matter how much money we have in the bank, we are no more than a complete greedy human being. There are so many rich people on earth have confessed that they are not happy even though they're rich. Why? Because our mind know that we are still depraved and need grace to be healed. Without His grace everything in this world is going to be useless. EVERYTHING. MacArthur was right, If you can't even admit the concept of total depravity, then it is a lie that you admit to be saved by grace. It's almost saying that you need no grace to go to heaven, only by human achievement. The concept is really simple, I still don't understand why lots of people don't get it.

And I think about people, who are trying to live out their lives, looking for happiness, looking for peace, looking for joy, looking for this, looking for that, and the truth is, the source that they are looking for, is the very person they keep shoving away. "The Fear Of God." Now when you hear that, you ask yourself the question, well am I to be afraid of God? Or does it mean something else, and when it's used in the scripture, naturally we are to be afraid of God, If we are living in sin. He's our Holy God, a righteous God, now whether you are afraid of God, depends on how you are living. If you are living in sin you have a right to be absolutely afraid of God. He says (the soul that sinneth, It shall die), (the wages of sin is death). (It is appointed on to man once to die, and after this, the judgment). If you're living in sin, you have a right to be afraid of a (Holy God). (The one true God). (Jehovah Yahweh Elohim). His Son Jesus Christ the Lord. (Deuteronomy 13:4. Says you shall follow the Lord your God, and fear Him, and you should keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him), (that is His command). What do I mean by fearing God. It means simply this, to reverence Him, to honor Him, to exalt Him, to lift Him up, to hold Him in high regard, to worship Him, and to hold Him In high esteem, to obey Him, to acknowledge Him His worthiness, (to honoring His position as creator and judge of all mankind). When you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, that's what it means to fear the living God. No fear of God means, In their understanding as they view life, and as they view the world, no fear in God, no honoring God, In fact, God is a problem to them, because he gets in their way, Holy God does not tolerate sin, Holy God is not going to make you living in sin feel comfortable, or really enjoy yourself. For the moment you may have some brief moments of happiness and joy, but very brief, because Holy God hates sin, He doesn't hate the sinner, but He hates sin, He hates sin because of what sin does to His children, many may think, sin is having a good time, (God sees sin as a detriment to His will, purpose, and plan for your life), and this is why we all should understand what it means to fear the living God, because one day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. People who are living in sin think, why do I want God in my life? To keep you from dying and being eternally separated from God, and never being able to become the person God wanted you to be, and because you're going to miss Heaven. You don't Fear God, you are going to miss Heaven, you don't fear God and you die in that state ( your going to hell). I don't mean to be critical, but when you turn your back on God, your turning your back on your only hope, the one who loves you, cares for you, and wants the best for you. But He will not make you follow Him, not make you love Him, not make you obey Him, the fear of God is a Holy thought, no matter what people may believe, they cannot avoid the judgment of Holy God, who loves you, but is willing to give us enough free will, if you choose not to love Him, if you choose to die without Him, will let you have what you want, against His loving will. (The only perfect person died on the cross, rose again, seated at the father's right hand, to make intercession for you and me), God is Holy. Therefore we are to fear Him, why should we fear God? Because He commands it, and secondly because the Scripture says, (It's the beginning of knowledge). (Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge), there's a lot of people who think they are smart, they could have 25 degrees in 25 different subjects, they could be an authority above all other authorities, they may be knowledgeable about many things. If they do not fear God (they are missing out, about the most important thing in life), and that is a (personal relationship to Holy God). God says, it's the beginning of knowledge, true genuine knowledge. They may know some facts about many things, but what life's all about is learning who God is. It's the beginning of knowledge.

In 1973, I was involved in a multi level marketing business; they used positive thinking books with a religious flair. One chapter was directions on how to use your occult powers. What you have described is exactly how you invite evil into your life. Thankfully the Lord intervened and I was saved and have been serving Him since then.

I am listening to this man and learning because I'm trusting the Holy Spirit to teach me, but I usually feel hopeless or less hopeful or discouraged for this life, past, present, future but I'm 63 male and don't have a lot longer after listening to him. And all these comments to each other don't make it better. the more I study the Bible it never ended well or went too well for anybody in the Bible from the Old Testament and New Testament. But God knows eternity. It's probably more important than our time on this planet. Praying for loved ones and everyone for eternal salvation and just taking today's daily bread. Disappointment is a good word for life when everything is concluded eventually. Especially when it comes to all relationships. Or efforts or work or anything. but it's temporary so salvation in Jesus Christ for myself and all my loved ones and everyone I can pray for is eternal.
It will be so joyous in heaven. We won't have people being murdered; no wars; no bombings; no physical suffering; no starving; no child being abused; no babies killed in the womb; no homeless; no poverty; no blind or mentally tortured! Wealth is however very dangerous to someone who doesn't have the wisdom to handle it. It is much for the same retason you wouldn't give a child a loaded gun that God doesn't give his children wealth.

I got completely caught up into all this Health wealth prosperity gospel but Jesus saved me March 3, 2002 at 3 o’clock in the morning by his divine work…
two years prior he caused me to have a softened heart and turn toward Him in desperation repent for my sins and He only prepared the ground, watered it shined light on it and harvested me in 2002… praise the Lord I’m saved that’s all I know.

Fear God and depend on Him for everything
1. Clear your heart of any sin. Is there anything that keeps me from hearing the truth? Confess these sins, repent.
2. Bring your desires to a position of neutrality. God I want what you want. Knowing God's will.
3. Exercise patience to wait in a confident expectation and anticipation of God's action on our behalf. To refuse to run ahead of Him, trying to solve our problems for ourselves. Be willing to wait upon God.
4. Be alert to pressure, external pressure from close people. Be very careful who you listen to. Internal pressure from self.
5. Persistent prayer, continuously pray without ceasing, move from doubt, fear, to begining to trust Him. Trust Him when you have no evidence that God has heard us. Don't move ahead until you get direction.
6 Rest in God's promise. God's Word is God's mind in print, find wisdom for all desicion from there. God's Word sifts our thoughts, builds our Faith in His promise to hear our prayers.
7. Wait for God's peace. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. When I have God's peace I know I have the answer.

I was introduced to the real God of the bible by a man named Philip Hall while serving time in prison here in Colorado. We would listen to John Macarthur and the truth every night or every chance we had on a little radio. It wasn't until some ten plus years later would I realize just how much I was learning, how much I was retaining, and how much both Mr. Macarthur and Philip Hall were transforming my life to live loving Jesus Christ and the truth of this life we live. Had an Assembly preacher say the denomination had done a study and that over 75% of the church members wanted power over a personal relationship with God

Why do non Catholic Christians believe that the Bible is definitely the inspired scriptures considering that the Bible was searched, sorted, selected, put together and declared to be the final books inspired by God, by the Catholic church from around 25k manuscripts (the original couldn't be found when the time the Bible was being put together). This process was under the guardianship and authority of the Pope.
The books of the Bible were chosen and finalized with the authority of the Popes.
So, why do non Catholic Christians use this Bible or at least its core (some Christians removed some books and changed some translations), that the Catholic church put together, through the Pope's finality of authority, instead of them just searching, sorting, selecting and putting together their own using their individual consciences and authority as they claim all good Christians can identify truth?
The Bible is a Catholic created book and declared the true holy God inspired scriptures by the SOLE authority of the Pope.
THEY USE THE CORE OF THIS SAME BIBLE, SO IT IMPLIES THEY BELIEVE THAT THE POPE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DECLARE TRUTH.
AND NOW THEY BELIEVE (THIS BELIEF/ FALSE TEACHING/ WRONG LOGIC IS STARTED BY LUTHER) THE POPE DOESN'T HAVE THAT SAME AUTHORITY AS HE HAD WHEN DECLARING THE BIBLE WAS THE TRUE GOD INSPIRED SCRIPTURES, AND THAT ALL TRULY FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS HAVE THAT AUTHORITY.
THEN NON CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS EACH HAVE THEIR OWN IDENTIFICATION OF TRUTH AND INTERPRETATION OF THE SCRIPTURES.
ALSO, MANY NON CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS SAY, “OH, YOU'RE CATHOLIC, I THOUGHT YOU'RE A CHRISTIAN.” BEFORE THE REFORMATION BY MARTIN LUTHER, ALMOST ALL CHRISTIANS WERE CATHOLICS.

According to MacArthur's belief in total depravity you can't become a better you because you're totally depraved.
@@mkmason2002 No brother, he's trying to say that it is impossible to walk with Christ without understanding the pain and real feeling of walking in the path of the Cross, which was surrounded by the most darkest power on earth (in this sermon he used the word "depravity"). That's why Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow him. Only with that way we can really understand about His love and grace. You know, its like you're telling to an orphan friend, that you understand their feeling, while you're still living comfortably with your parents. Sounds like a bull right?
And yes, since we all are the descendants of Adam and Eve, we are all depraved. We inherit their sins in our blood. We can't escape that, therefore, we can't become better. We need grace, and the only one who can provide it is Jesus Christ. That's why MacArthur said the notion that you are such a noble person and a champion, is a lie right out of hell. We are all the sons and daughters of evil desire. If we are not, then why even Christ had comes into this world to sacrifice and die at a cross at the first place? I hope you understand this. Because true sons of The Lord know in their deepest mind, that no matter how much money we have in the bank, we are no more than a complete greedy human being. There are so many rich people on earth have confessed that they are not happy even though they're rich. Why? Because our mind know that we are still depraved and need grace to be healed. Without His grace everything in this world is going to be useless. EVERYTHING. MacArthur was right, If you can't even admit the concept of total depravity, then it is a lie that you admit to be saved by grace. It's almost saying that you need no grace to go to heaven, only by human achievement. The concept is really simple, I still don't understand why lots of people don't get it.

Fear of the Lord leads to life. Not just the beating of the heart. To real life. The true life. And I think about people, who are trying to live out their lives, looking for happiness, looking for peace, looking for joy, looking for this, looking for that, and the truth is, the source that they are looking for, is the very person they keep shoving away. "The Fear Of God." Now when you hear that, you ask yourself the question, well am I to be afraid of God? Or does it mean something else, and when it's used in the scripture, naturally we are to be afraid of God, If we are living in sin. He's our Holy God, a righteous God, now whether you are afraid of God, depends on how you are living. If you are living in sin you have a right to be absolutely afraid of God. He says (the soul that sinneth, It shall die), (the wages of sin is death). (It is appointed on to man once to die, and after this, the judgment). If you're living in sin, you have a right to be afraid of a (Holy God). (The one true God). (Jehovah Yahweh Elohim). His Son Jesus Christ the Lord. (Deuteronomy 13:4. Says you shall follow the Lord your God, and fear Him, and you should keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him), (that is His command). What do I mean by fearing God. It means simply this, to reverence Him, to honor Him, to exalt Him, to lift Him up, to hold Him in high regard, to worship Him, and to hold Him In high esteem, to obey Him, to acknowledge Him His worthiness, (to honoring His position as creator and judge of all mankind). When you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, that's what it means to fear the living God. No fear of God means, In their understanding as they view life, and as they view the world, no fear in God, no honoring God, In fact, God is a problem to them, because he gets in their way, Holy God does not tolerate sin, Holy God is not going to make you living in sin feel comfortable, or really enjoy yourself. For the moment you may have some brief moments of happiness and joy, but very brief, because Holy God hates sin, He doesn't hate the sinner, but He hates sin, He hates sin because of what sin does to His children, many may think, sin is having a good time, (God sees sin as a detriment to His will, purpose, and plan for your life), and this is why we all should understand what it means to fear the living God, because one day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. People who are living in sin think, why do I want God in my life? To keep you from dying and being eternally separated from God, and never being able to become the person God wanted you to be, and because you're going to miss Heaven. You don't Fear God, you are going to miss Heaven, you don't fear God and you die in that state ( your going to hell). I don't mean to be critical, but when you turn your back on God, your turning your back on your only hope, the one who loves you, cares for you, and wants the best for you. But He will not make you follow Him, not make you love Him, not make you obey Him, the fear of God is a Holy thought, no matter what people may believe, they cannot avoid the judgment of Holy God, who loves you, but is willing to give us enough free will, if you choose not to love Him, if you choose to die without Him, will let you have what you want, against His loving will. (The only perfect person died on the cross, rose again, seated at the father's right hand, to make intercession for you and me), God is Holy. Therefore we are to fear Him, why should we fear God? Because He commands it, and secondly because the Scripture says, (It's the beginning of knowledge). (Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge), there's a lot of people who think they are smart, they could have 25 degrees in 25 different subjects, they could be an authority above all other authorities, they may be knowledgeable about many things. If they do not fear God (they are missing out, about the most important thing in life), and that is a (personal relationship to Holy God). God says, it's the beginning of knowledge, true genuine knowledge. They may know some facts about many things, but what life's all about is learning who God is. It's the beginning of knowledge.

It would be interesting to know the full extent of his wealth, His yearly salary and stock portfolio etc. He certainly believes on osteens theology of living your best life now.

What you have described is exactly how you invite evil into your life. Thankfully the Lord intervened and I was saved and have been serving Him since then.

But I will disagree with you setting goals is something that is good why you set the goal And what you set it on determines whether or not it Is good. To have a family it's a great goal to set. To visualize it to speak it. When you got your education did it just happen or did you have to set goals? To have material wealth it's not bad it's what we do with it. A poor person cannot feed the homeless. Again why do you want what you want? Ask the Lord to make it clear. P.S guarantee you the pastor here is not driving up in a beat up Honda & Nor is he living in A-tent Or roach hotel. And if he tells you that All that he has just fell upon him he is lying. Goals.
Part 2 no 1 that bills a home or plants a garden does not visualize it 1st. Again why are you doing it to Is ONLY satisfy yourself OR To please the Lord BY be a productive human being & HELPING OTHERS. Never be so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good. I am listening to this man and learning because I'm trusting the Holy Spirit to teach me, but I usually feel hopeless or less hopeful or discouraged for this life, past, present, future but I'm 63 male and don't have a lot longer after listening to him. And all these comments to each other don't make it better. the more I study the Bible it never ended well or went too well for anybody in the Bible from the Old Testament and New Testament. But God knows eternity. It's probably more important than our time on this planet. Praying for loved ones and everyone for eternal salvation and just taking today's daily bread. Disappointment is a good word for life when everything is concluded eventually. Especially when it comes to all relationships. Or efforts or work or anything. but it's temporary so salvation in Jesus Christ for myself and all my loved ones and everyone I can pray for is eternal.
It will be so joyous in heaven. We won't have people being murdered; no wars; no bombings; no physical suffering; no starving; no child being abused; no babies killed in the womb; no homeless; no poverty; no blind or mentally tortured! We will see Jesus and we will be in heaven!🕊️ Thank you God for your words and your word!!!! I am saved by grace!

This is a good reminder that we need to as Rom 12:2 says about renewing your mind. Instead of focusing on ourselves we need to focus on GOD

"The changed cross"is a poem that tells of a weary woman who thought that the cross she must bear surely was heavier than those of other people,so she wished she could choose another persons' instead.When she went to sleep,she dreamed she was taken to a place where there were many different crosses from which to choose.There were various shapes and sizes,but the most beautiful one was covered with jewels and gold."This I could wear with comfort,"she said.So she picked it up,but her weak body staggered beneath its' weight.The gold and jewels were beautiful,yet they were much too heavy for her to carry.
The next cross she noticed was quite lovely,with beautiful flowers entwined around its' sculptered form.Surely this was the one for her.She lifted it,but beneath the flowers were large thorns that pierced and tore her skin.
Finally she came to a plain cross without jewels or any carvings and with only a few words of love inscribed on it.When she picked it up,it proved to be better than all the rest,and the easiest to carry.And as she looked at it,she noticed it was bathed in a radiance that fell from heaven.Then she recognized it as her own old cross.She had found it once again,and it was the best of all,and thelightest for her.
You see,God knows best what cross we need to bear,and we never know how heavy someone elses cross may be.We envy someone who is rich,with a cross of gold adorned with jewels,but we do not know how heavy it is.We look at someone whose life seems so easy and who carries a cross covered with flowers.Yet if we could actually test all the crosses we think are lighter than ours,we would never find one better suited for us than our own.♥✞♥✞♥
