I am so proud on CZUB that they managed to make such a great weapons like BREN2 and Scorpion EVO. I hope that soldiers in Hungary will enjoy their BREN2's.
The adverse conditions setting IS NOT a suppressed setting. Think about that. Adverse setting is sending MORE gas to the piston to deal with dirty conditions. This setting is harder on parts and decreases the life of those parts. While shooting suppressed you want LESS gas sent to the piston because you are already dealing with more gas due to having a can increasing back pressure.
Cz Bren 2 S is the Best weapon made in my opinion. Pair it up with a Cz p-10 Optics Ready and you have the best 1, 2 weapon combo available! Thanks for the great video!
I have bouth guns, the bren 2 ms 5.56 and p10c. The bren 2 is every thing but no rebalaty. I shoot this in durty conditions and had malfunction after malfunction, could not shoot 20 round withou malfunction. the gun was not durty as hell, could imavine how it is in a fight wen you have e gun where is thet crappie. The p10c triger is damm shit, badest triger i ever seen. and the mag relase is so hard you have to use bouth hands. but the sights are great. The Sig MCX and 553 are the best gun ever made maybe the Robinson Arms XCR to.
Great info/vid. Well done. Big CZ nut hugger here, and, own several CZ pieces. 2 evos to the shadow2, to p10c and F, several sp01s, and more in between, I am still dragging my feet on the Bren2. And in this time/climate, its just not the best time to purchase,.. hell, anything gun related. That said, I think ill go get one tomorrow 😃 . Appreciate your time and info.
The second position on the Scar is not the adverse setting (which would allow more gas), its the suppressed setting which is the exact opposite (allows less gas). The gun won't cycle on the suppressed setting unless you have a suppressor on it.
If your scar runs fine on suppressed with no can, it’s probably because of whatever you're feeding it load-wise is a bit heavy or it might be because you don't shoot a lot of rounds or get it mucked up between cleanings/lubings. You might find it to be a bit more ammo picky as to whether it cycles, and it might struggle as it gets dirty. Personally, I have a Sig MCX (pre virtus) that is similar with the ammo I use and I keep it on the suppressed setting even without a can to minimize the wear (I dread needing replacement parts given Sig's record of supporting discontinued stuff). Your mileage may vary though.
Jhon actually let me shoot his Black cz pistol a few rounds after asking wtf he was shooting. That blast hits you in the face hard. He schooled me on his BCM grip and the Muzzle break he had on. Couple days later put same muzzle break on my 4.75 barrel 556 and it's pure chaos lol.
I love my bren 2, they need to hurry up and release the new barrels sizes. i want to SBR mine and go from 16" to 14.5 or 12.5 without cutting my barrel down.
@Les Fernandez That's how it looks like with every models except for the BR. The reason is probably because they don't want to shift the piston's port location further, so it costs less to manufacture the same pistons over different length barrels. So they don't have to make much different gas settings for each. It kinda sucks but yeah.
I watch a lot of gun videos.. I enjoy them all, but you two I was thoroughly impressed with the two guys just hanging out, shooting and talking about guns aspect...felt completely organic and not forced.. Keep up the good work👍👍
Hello from Birmingham, AL! Good video! Your screen presence and interaction was very smooth and pleasant. Please lighten the video, especially the range segments. I've had a thumb whacked by an AK charging handle--lesson learned. Between the two, I'm more drawn to the Bren. The SCAR just looks bloated--especially for the money.
Good video and teamwork. Noticed you were using Aimpoint optic. What was that high rising mounting platform you used? I've decided Bren 2 hands down so I have an extra 2K to customize and buy more ammo to become proficient. I wish they would civilianize the Bren 2 BR in (.308) and bring to the USA. This is what I'm waiting for.
The bren is a all round better firearm, much more reliable then the scar. I have over 8,000 rounds in my bren 2, 7.62x39 with zero issues... my scar 17 has had issues multiple times and finding parts for the scar is ridiculous to find.
The carbine comes with it. The pistol you will have to buy it once cz releases the 922r kit and convert it to sbr with atf. Thebother option is the acr stock using dan hagas adapter OR his acr tailhook adapter to keep it lefally a pistol
Literally the only reason I got a 5.56 version hahaha if they ever actually make conversion kits available I'll get one for 7.62 and some mags but its cz so who know when or if that will happen. I didnt wanna be stuck with a bad ass gun and only 2 mags so I got the version that takes the 25+ mags I currently have
@@maxginn1051 they make AR 7.62 mag adapters... which is at least something but it's not ak mags. They're far from ak mags hahaha but again, it's a new gun and at least that's something to hold people over until cz mags become available
Why do you put the weapon on safe when transitioning to the high ready right after firing then immediately start firing again? Totally unnecessary safety precaution
@@kenneth5034 yes the 14” is in both, they really didn’t do any changes to the bren 2 at all because you go look at the rifles on cz USA it’s still the same

Correct
im surprised they havent changed this on the shorter barrels because the carbine has a suppressor setting instead of the adverse setting

They are both fantastic battle rifle platforms. Why choose when you can have both?
Because 5.56mm scar isn't made anymore. Also bren 2 has multiple upgrades over scar.
Love to know when the Bren 308 comes out
i wonder what these guys would think of the nrch version of the fn scar
I appreciate both of you guys keep making more videos

I agree the 5.56 Bren 2 is better than the scar 16 but is it better than a high end ar15 like the Kac Sr-15?
Depends on what characteristics you're comparing. They aren't remotely similar guns
if your shooting 556
get a high end ar15 imho..
if you want to shoot 308 or 7.62x39 check out a bren or scar
Having both, I’m letting go of the Bren2. Not as accurate, not as nice of recoil impulse, and runs much hotter. Scar 16 10” is hard to beat.

Are they going to import the 7.62x39 bren 2ms rifle?(not the pistol)
They already started to import them, the gun shop I always go to is a partnered cz dealer and they have a couple
What hurt the scar is the 1200 price increase in the past few years...
They are still selling like hot cakes online smh
Bren2 doesn’t like Gen2 PMAGS?

I want a Bren 2 so bad. I saw a 7.62 with a 9" barrel, and the folding/extendable buttstock at my LGS, and I was just DROOLING over it...
