Bea is just so damn good!! The emotion he plays with. The intensely amazing sound he gets. Bea is one of the best guitarists of our generation and he deserves to explode in the guitar world.
Good God, that was a great jam. Couldn't even call who won that, not quite as different styles as Rob and the Captain but each absolutely excelling at their own thing.
Damn, I've seen my share of Rob's videos and I have to say this jam has to be in the top 3. Right up there with the one that has some epic Captain soloing. :D Amazing guys!
+Rob Chapman Make a track out of it. Just the 2 guitars + maybe a very little bit of keyboards into the background, full on instrumental chillout song. No matter how basic, I could listen to that chord progression for hours with those little solos over it
men have such a passion for technical specs and a genuine talent for it........that is why a woman can never run the world......they just aren't wired for understanding complex things. They can sure listen the hell out of music and make a mean meal though! Cheers mate😉
One day I will have that tone of Rabea's. It's gonna be so pricey though, just the reverb and pickups alone are £700 quids worth. The BigSky is amazing, Rabea's review series on it realy shows it off well. I will hunt down this comment and reply once I have achieved the goal. I estimate it might be 1 year if things go well, but more realistically 3 years. Possibly a decade+ if things don't work out, but at least by that time I will be an expert player ;-)
Hey Rob you could do what Brian may does with his ac30s blasted with a treble booster pedal boosting the front end of the amp an crank your amp to full. its loud though I tell you I have all the signature bm gear as well as other stuff (other pedals etc) an it's really loud
I don't know if it's my computer and/or headphones, but it seems like Rob's sound got buried in volume compared to Rabea's. Rob just didn't seem to be cutting through. I notice this happens a lot when I listen to videos with Rob and the Captain jamming, too! Maybe my old ears can no longer hear the frequencies that Rob accentuates when he EQ's his sound.
You're just one click away - their setups are linked up below the video ;) - Rob uses 2 Laney HH Custom Designed 12" speakers in this particular video - and Beas Cab has 2 Celestion Vintage 30s inside. //Philipp
Those Chapman guitars look such great value for money........I just wish they did an option without the reversed headstock. .......probably won't happen as I guess that's part of the 'signature' Rob Chapman design.....but here's hoping!
I'm pretty sure it was just a reference to the song Black Betty. As it had the lyrics "bam ba cam" and adding the djent thing in as a joke as bam ba cam kinda sounds like a djent riff.
Help! I have liked a few of the Victory amps especially the clean and mild crunch tones that sound so very ideal Plexi. My problem is that I am concerned with such low wattage. I have always assumed that one needed about 50 watts to stay up with an enthusiastic drummer. Simple... everything miked in a large room...but otherwise the only problem are the drums. For example does that little red menace keep up with a drum kit.
So your only concern is in the practice room / as long as you're not micing your cab? Of course it depends on how well your cab works with the amp, but I'd say it can keep up with most of the drummers out there (if they're not constantly beating the hell out of their set ;) ) in the rehearsal room. Live you would of course mic it anyway I guess? Look at Rob himself - he uses the RD1 on Dorje UK tours without any problems. //Philipp
No I mainly do small clubs and in the summer outdoor concerts where I am miked. I think anything less then 40 watts could be a problem. In a 3 piece it is imperitive to be heard. LOL I truly appreciate the info. Paul
funny to think someone that 9 out of 10 people have never heard of has so many signature models and bits of gear after him, if the average guitarist walked into a shop and the owner said check out this rob Chapman signature amp they would probably be like who????
HEY ROB did you cut the arms of that t shirt shorter so people can see more of your tattoos or did you buy it because of the fact it had shorter arm length? and yes after watching this video that is my question!
No but Rob stole the telecaster headstock shape and flipped it upside down. Putting it in normal orientation would make it the same as the one Fender has a copyright on, so it's more ridiculous to me that simply flipping the headstock upside down can make it legal to use and no longer a copy of Fender's design when it's exactly the same.
not gonna happen bub, Rabea doesn't play 7s, they already have a 7 string Tele and if they left the bare knuckles in the guitar would cost over 1,000 USD which misses their price point. As it is that guitar is going to be at least 750-800 USD like the Ghost Fret.
Thank you for answering! I recognized the tolex and the frame as I have the G112 Vintage myself and that was one of the best buying decisions, very very pleased with the sound. And if Rabea is using one it is definitely good enough for us mortals :D
Rabea's tone is to die for :D
The end of this was pure magic caught on film
the references bea made were KILLERS...
It's almost like the instant Rabea touches the guitar.... music just flows...not just noodling around
I'm getting a great medieval vibes from Rabea's playing when he was showing his amp, beautiful sound.
Bea is just so damn good!! The emotion he plays with. The intensely amazing sound he gets. Bea is one of the best guitarists of our generation and he deserves to explode in the guitar world.
Great to see you guys getting smiles on your faces when jamming together. Just love your musical chemistry!
If Dorje came to the USA I would see them in a heartbeat.
very odd seeing them high five and not hearing an explosion....
That's an Andertons and Chappers trademark - we didn't want to take the risk of a lawsuit ;) //Philipp
I might've laughed a little too hard at that...
Yet you decided to call the clip 'Rig Rundown' and risk a different lawsuit... :p
+Thomann Music But......why
Probably because they are sponsoring the band maybe?
Love that there is a Kvelertak poster behind you guys!
Great band from my hometown
I just fucking love Bea's tone! You remind me of Periphery dude
Yea, Bea has said multiple times that Periphery is one of his favourite bands.
I love Rabea (or however you spell it). It seems to me that he's just a little shy but he kicks ass on guitar. I'd love to jam with him.
It's such a shame, that I missed them. I'm a great fan of their music, YT-videos and also Chapman Guitars.
Rabea's playing gets me right in the gut. Beast.
And Bea is using the affordable harley benton g212 vintage cab!!!! Really nice sound!
*shaffordable :P jk love Harley Benton gear
Rabea is just a tone-monster! Incredible sound...
Good God, that was a great jam. Couldn't even call who won that, not quite as different styles as Rob and the Captain but each absolutely excelling at their own thing.
Beautiful tones guys, can't wait to see Dorje in Orlando Fl, hopeful thinking
I could watch that jam all day long
That jam could last forever, AWESOME STUFF!
Bea has one of the best tones out there. Damn son.
Dat big unit can play. Boy has natural talent. A joy to behold. And to be clear I am referring to the lad in the Jimi tee!
this type of jams make me fucking love what I do. makes me wanna cry it's so beautiful
They were gonna call it the Riff10, until they took an arrow to the knee.
Hell fire awaits you for such an atrocity...
Just kidding... That was hilarious.
Props to you. Hardest I've laughed in a while
Happy to oblige sir knight.
Don't know who's chops I like better, well done lads very impressive as always
Both of those amps sound amazing.
That Tele-esq beast looks very appealing, I think I'd have to buy one.
I used to have the same Scorpions and Europe posters in my bedroom 28 years ago, awesome
awesome sounds from Bea's guitar in particular.....
I just came at the jam. That sounded sooo awesome!
Loved the playing! Great sounds from those amps and pedals too.
Damn, I've seen my share of Rob's videos and I have to say this jam has to be in the top 3. Right up there with the one that has some epic Captain soloing. :D Amazing guys!
"but I'm getting bored [of this peace of gear], which is what happens to guitarists when they've got too much time on their hands." So true!
you guys are simply amazing!
That was the best jam ever.
Damn I absolutely LOVED that jam
If only he knew the lyrics. *sigh. We could have had it all.
perfect.
I thought of that, then I read your comment.
*sigh* At least I can say that I tried.
Use a shoelace to get your knobs off, it take mere seconds and won't scratch your paint🤘🏿
That was an awesome jam! A song or just riffing?
Just jamming :-)
Should make it a song. It's Brilliant
Loving the jam.
+Rob Chapman Jamming? ... That didn't sound anything like Bob Marley 🍟🍟🍟. 'Cos I know you like chips 😎
+Rob Chapman Make a track out of it. Just the 2 guitars + maybe a very little bit of keyboards into the background, full on instrumental chillout song.

Bea's tone FTW!
Awesome rocking out at the end one day I hope to be half as good as you bea on the guitar
Great tones, especially Bea!
Rob, when will you announce the winners of your gear competition?
i love that kvelertak poster in the background. it was the first thing i noticed ;)
that lil 59 is sick!!
One day I will have that tone of Rabea's. It's gonna be so pricey though, just the reverb and pickups alone are £700 quids worth. The BigSky is amazing, Rabea's review series on it realy shows it off well.

How's that going for you so far?
Great Jam, sounded awesome!
Hey Rob you could do what Brian may does with his ac30s blasted with a treble booster pedal boosting the front end of the amp an crank your amp to full. its loud though I tell you I have all the signature bm gear as well as other stuff (other pedals etc) an it's really loud
That chord progression is really nice.
The jam at the end was awesome, such talented gents. I agree with not hearing the explosion when they high five, very weird
Rob's been practising
Love B's new sig guitar!
Rabea's tone is sooooo heavy !
I never realised you had a TS-9 on your pedal board chappers!! Great pedal!
Alright that effin' rocked.
Rabea holy shit that was crushing tone. Awesome!
Great! Just plain great.
Sounds fantastic!
Great jam !
i absolutely love rabeas tele, i want one so bad
It's Rabea's signature chapman guitar the ML3
wow, that was a great jam!
Nice I'm assuming Rob has his boost, delay, and reverb pedals in the loop ? And the tube screamer in the front ?
Rebea's tone ❤
Rebea just release that guitar already! im ready to purchase my first signature.
Rabea really has some taste in pedals. I guess I like the way his rig sounds more, or it probably matches my own tastes.
That was a Sick Jam they had together at the end! :D *inspired
that tele is sick!!
I don't know if it's my computer and/or headphones, but it seems like Rob's sound got buried in volume compared to Rabea's. Rob just didn't seem to be cutting through. I notice this happens a lot when I listen to videos with Rob and the Captain jamming, too! Maybe my old ears can no longer hear the frequencies that Rob accentuates when he EQ's his sound.
i love how rob just stares at Rebea like "wtf u soo good"
great jam fuckin live these guys
I love your videos thanks guys!
Epic jam dudes
Thanks, this really was the best thing all day. What speakers are in the cabs?
You're just one click away - their setups are linked up below the video ;) - Rob uses 2 Laney HH Custom Designed 12" speakers in this particular video - and Beas Cab has 2 Celestion Vintage 30s inside. //Philipp
*Gives little options on the amp as to avoid "Option Paralysis"*
30 seconds later
"We're all about giving people options"
GG Chappers
smash, great job lads
Those Chapman guitars look such great value for money........I just wish they did an option without the reversed headstock.
.......probably won't happen as I guess that's part of the 'signature' Rob Chapman design.....but here's hoping!
That jam was sweeeeeet!!! Total badassness!!! :D \m/
I liked chord progression jam thingy at the end
Rob, can you give us the chord progression of that truely haunting jam?
Rob was that a Stevie T reference at 2:00?
I know I fangirled
I've been wondering what he was talking about with bam ba cam is that the if djent was in the dictionary video
+Bradley Stroup yes sir. I like that video
Ba-na-na.... Ba-na-naaa
I'm pretty sure it was just a reference to the song Black Betty. As it had the lyrics "bam ba cam" and adding the djent thing in as a joke as bam ba cam kinda sounds like a djent riff.
Did anyone else expect an explosion when they were gonna clap at the end? AHAHA
Help!
I have liked a few of the Victory amps especially the clean and mild crunch tones that sound so very ideal Plexi.

Paul
Nice Guys!!
THAT JAM
Fuckin' YEAH, gents!
I want that damn new Bea sig to come out already!
you guys are awesome
Oh we're all certain you're opinion ranks right up there with Lime Spiders...
funny to think someone that 9 out of 10 people have never heard of has so many signature models and bits of gear after him, if the average guitarist walked into a shop and the owner said check out this rob Chapman signature amp they would probably be like who????
Please be a Gotoh Floyd Rose Bea xD would love to see that one your signature ml-3
HEY ROB did you cut the arms of that t shirt shorter so people can see more of your tattoos or did you buy it because of the fact it had shorter arm length? and yes after watching this video that is my question!
You gettin' into the Strat sound Mr.C ?
If Premiere guitar does not do it, its not rig rundown
3:50 "I have hope for America" well I hate to be the bearer of bad news Rob
Mexican Strat with Rosewood neck
Would love to get a Cap10 but not a fan of reverse headstock. They should offer it both ways.
+Calzo Houdini you can copyright a headstock orientation? What a world
No but Rob stole the telecaster headstock shape and flipped it upside down. Putting it in normal orientation would make it the same as the one Fender has a copyright on, so it's more ridiculous to me that simply flipping the headstock upside down can make it legal to use and no longer a copy of Fender's design when it's exactly the same.
Rabea: please please release a 7 string version of your ML3 with the barenuckles in!
not gonna happen bub, Rabea doesn't play 7s, they already have a 7 string Tele and if they left the bare knuckles in the guitar would cost over 1,000 USD which misses their price point.
As it is that guitar is going to be at least 750-800 USD like the Ghost Fret.
Amp with a Mario Bros. Papercraft :) Awesome !!!
Rob. Do you still use the Silverback?
Why do they have the IRT-15 there if they're not using it?? D: D:
what is the cab that Rob is using?
Is that a Harley Benton cab Rabea is using?
Yes, that is the Harley Benton G212 Vintage with two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers: tho.mn/rnauy
Thank you for answering! I recognized the tolex and the frame as I have the G112 Vintage myself and that was one of the best buying decisions, very very pleased with the sound. And if Rabea is using one it is definitely good enough for us mortals :D
+The Imp.erfectionist he uses it in the video, not normaly.
Nice try slick, maybe you should consider a different hand-held..perhaps your daily/nightly toy..?
Of course there is a Victory cab under his Kraken on stage. But it has Vintage 30s in it as well ;)
