Cool series of Blackstar figures. As a kid, I thought The Other World bendable figures with the little creatures were the same line as Blackstar, but they were different brands. Blackstar is a good series on rare DVD too. Thanks!
i should have grabbed it when i saw it. its asking prices are too much for me. i do watch them on youtube. i fear theyll be yanked soon. as a dinky person, i confused a lot of colorful lines with Blackstar myself. i was just snooping out arco toys. the other world was one i saw.
@@camcordernonsense5264 The price the DVD set is selling for now is very expensive, that's true. Hopefully it gets another reissue in the future, but with disc sales slowing down, I don't know if it will avoid being digital only format. I was lucky to get it at a retail price years ago, but missed out on the full Filmation Ghostbusters and Flash Gordon series on DVD, which are probably now very expensive too. Thanks!
Ahh , black star. This takes me back !! I wanted some of those figures , but never had the opportunity to own any . Fantastic video as always amigo !! Thanks for what you do !! 👍
I’ve had a few of these over the years and occasionally end up with accessories, but the little demons are the only ones that I actually collect. I don’t remember ever seeing the cartoon as a kid.
Never heard of this one. Looked pretty cool. Sucks if it traps odors and is peeling and falling apart now. Nothing last forever. Especially when you can get Transformers. Was fun to watch. Great video
I had just about all of them.. The lighter thing was awesome.. I use my Black Star figure as the Beastmaster.. I even gave him the burned on symbol on his hand..and he would kick He Man’s ass almost every day.. man I loved that figure.
all those would be good ties. a video on that would be cool. that tarzan was slow for me in spots (i was little) and really creepy in other ways. the filmation art was really cool in all of them.
I remember the cartoon but would've been deep into He-man and GI Joe figs in 83, so these wouldn't have got a look in. Probably just as well, you didnt really sell the benefits of owning this line to me 😆😆😆
@@camcordernonsense5264 When they are moved into a home, maybe you can keep them company and all be happy together 😆Are you on Instagram by any chance?

Did you like live at Toy Chest as a kid? You sure seem to be up on 80's toys!!
i did in fact. my parents would kidnap me and make me stay at their house though.

Hmmm, are you ill, my friend? I don't see any nonsense here, just a short review of a show and figures. It's good, and - no nonsense.
