In home invasion robberies you should always expect that the criminals are more than likely violent it ain't like snatch and run they are more than likely willing to kill That is why a lot of smart states have castle laws that mean entering a property without the permission of owner or owners of property can be seen as self defense if the owner uses a firearm or other weapon to defend the property
Generalizing, in order of least punishable to more, and different from state to state: Robbery: theft of a person Burglary: theft of properties such as cars, coin op machines, uninhabited buildings. Aggravated robbery : theft of a person while displaying a deadly weapon, or when causing bodily injury. Burglary of a habitation: theft of an inhabited or inhabitable property Home invasion : felony during the course of a burglary of a habitation. Generally bodily injury, SA, abduction while displaying a deadly weapon. You can make an aggravated, or armed, robbery stick on a habitation, while inhabitants are present, but it’s usually gonna work out better to go with a burglary. You can make a home invasion charge under certain circumstances, but it may be better to go with another charge unless its truest intended purpose is met. It’s all about the highest charge with the elements of the crime that fit. It’s better to charge up as much as possible and let the DA knock it down.
Imagine your kids watching their favourite tv show and two hooded men walk in robbing the place , home invasion ain't simple my guy . It can traumatize you for life.
I almost got home invasioned once. Guy came to my door with a story, apparently he was being chased by some other guys. This was the first time I had heard this story (I heard the exact same story again about 5 years later), so I let him come in and hide while I call him a taxi. Me being me, I locked my huge ass door behind him, accidentally foiling his plan entirely as his friends would be unable to get in. I then caught him twitching the curtains, and told him to get away from the window before somebody spots him. He wasn't listening, so I lost my patience and went ham on him with my bat. A few days later, I told my friend about the whole ordeal, and that's when I found out that this guy was trying to rob me. What a poor fool.

Second time was more recently when person across the street was moving and an older man came in looking for the tag sale: "Um, that's across the street." Had forgotten to lock the screen door after bringing the dogs in. Both times they were appropriately embarassed, but have always been thankful first guy wasn't a creep and that I had good neighbors if he had been.
I think sliding doors are the easiest to get in..here’s my few tips on keeping safe..have a gravel path or drive,it’s very hard to walk on without making a noise …grow a thorny bush right under the front window it stops people getting too near.. have movement lights outside ,have cameras linked to ur phone, and if u love dogs have one ..they will generally alert you to movement ,n have a weapon near to ur bed..but best of all is metal, security door shutters if u can afford them .
Absolutely, the fear of the unknown can be incredibly chilling, especially when it comes to the unpredictability of human behavior. Intruders taps into that primal fear of invasion and vulnerability.
I have a gobble of wild turkeys at my cabin in Colorado. This is quite a sight and the cats don’t know what to make of them! Never had wild turkeys before this past year. You “gobble, gobble” at them and they gobble back! Too cute.
I think the home invasion video is a perfect example of why you should (1) keep your doors locked at all hours, (2) own a firearm, and be able to use it proficiently.
If you are a burglar and are going into the home in broad daylight, why when the owners are Barricaded away safe would you not just rob then leave peacefully but these pair went to kick a door down to get to the people instead of taking anything!- something not right there and they took knives- they weren’t there for taking stuff they were there for someone!!
When your house looks like that and you have a patio like that, even in 2015, why aren't you locking your doors nonstop? This is a low trust society we live in. One little mistake like that could easily have you and your family dead by these psychopathic people that think you're an easy mark.
Though I do dislike to say as much, my residence is now a trap for would-be invaders. If they are lucky enough to escape intact (which they will not) they may well think twice about returning. It is actually rather easy to turn any living space into an "oubliette" or worse. Home- invaders imagine that once they are inside, they rule. Often, this is true, but with very little effort any home-owner can turn around the rules of them game in their favor . Well, well worth the effort.
It's possible. Sometimes the weight of guilt is heavier than the fear of getting caught. He may have realized the wrong path he was on and chose to step into the light, even if it meant facing consequences. It takes courage to admit mistakes and choose a better way forward.
2015, I think it said. Also wasn’t their their name Singh? Indian or Pakistani? Maybe they emigrated from a very safe community & thought this area was too affluent to be any worry.

Always lock your doors, even in daytime. I had a man walk into my house once, I now always have my doors locked.
Glad you're ok!
I've had that happen to me TWICE. First time was about 20yrs ago when I was moving out of a place and the guy said the landlord had told him he could just stop by to look at it (godawful landlord, whole story on its own).

Place a wooden beam in the bottom rails of the sliding door/window, preventing the door to be opened.

I agree 💯 I saw a comment asking why the video was on this channel 😳 I said cuz it's scary 🥴 Duh
Absolutely, the fear of the unknown can be incredibly chilling, especially when it comes to the unpredictability of human behavior. Intruders taps into that primal fear of invasion and vulnerability.

I think the home invasion video is a perfect example of why you should (1) keep your doors locked at all hours, (2) own a firearm, and be able to use it proficiently.
In California, the police would arrest the home owner for bodily harm against the invaders.

America is such a poo show. You could scare guns on a sunday school teacher. Glad I don't have to live there.
This is what gets me about the home invasion. They went through all that to try to rob the house, but they didn't think to cover up their faces?
Illegals
Volcanic lightning is both beautiful and terrifying. Nature is amazing!
I'm willing to bet the one that turned himself in, was the one that was hanging back while his buddy tried to kick the door in.
It's possible. Sometimes the weight of guilt is heavier than the fear of getting caught. He may have realized the wrong path he was on and chose to step into the light, even if it meant facing consequences. It takes courage to admit mistakes and choose a better way forward.
However did you come to that conclusion 🙄
I'm guessing it was the guy who didn't cover his face or wear gloves finally figuring out he left an admission of guilt all over the house
Both idiots are lucky she didn’t have a gun. Texas.

Your grandma's words are profound and full of wisdom. It's a gentle reminder that sometimes the fears we hold onto are merely shadows of the past, not the reality of our present. Cherish her words and hold them close, for they carry the warmth of love and the strength to dispel any lingering fears.

So refreshing hearing an actual human narrating their video.
5:44 in the early days people were fascinated by paranormal pictures .. they manipulated the pictures by double exposure or double negatives (did it once myself).

Absolutely right. The moment someone realized you could create weird stuff by messing with the negatives, people started to explore the possibilities. This image is simply an exact duplicate of the kid’s face placed over the mirror. Not very difficult to do.

Security measures should include keeping one's doors LOCKED, and being trained in Firearms training. I can tell you this, even our 13 year old grandson knows what to do.
Not every country has access to firearms
Uhhh......excuse me sir but not all countries i.e. Canada are allowed to own guns for self defense. And we are glad of it. The very fact that the USA's citizens need to arm themselves is a testament at how very unstable and violent your crazy assed country is.

A white spot of light on the wall above the boy. Also the mirror. So a three in 1.
Makes sense 1917 was a harrowing time in Russia . I'd imagine the spirits were in overdrive.
first video= camera trickery, black object just disappears from view instead of fading into cloud. 3rd video is photoshopped, look at reflection in the mirror, divider is to the left of the curtain and the divider and curtain in the mirror is in the same position. 4th video is a light reflection, as the door opens, the track light on the lower wall opposite the glass door is reflected and its the same light as the door closes, giving the appearance that as door opens, some thing is going in as it also appears as the door closes, some thing is leaving.
in #5 there is NO APPARITION GOING BY!! It is the LIGHT REFLECTING OFF OF THE GLASS DOOR!!!! The SAME EXACT REFLECTION moves by WHEN IT OPENS AND WHEN IT CLOSES (just in the opposite direction when it closes)Keep this in mind a watch ity couple more times, you'll see that's all it is.
