Oh don't worry I've had plenty of reminders as to why I stopped in the background of these recordings too! Don't let my poor choices draw you back in haha
I’m so excited for this, I just found this channel and I finished watching the 2 of the older antistazi play through!! This is going to be an awesome series!!
And to think, earlier today I was just thinking about that multiplayer event we all did only to see this pop up tonight! Can definitely relate to having that itch to play Antistasi, nothing else really scratches it besides some... well, Antistasi. Just finished one with some friends with mods to make it S.T.A.L.K.E.R themed! Awesome to see, Hope you have a fun campaign!
Oh no not this old ass game! Love arma, love antistasi.. sooo many hours in arma and like 2 hrs playing actual single player. Can't wait to watch this whole thing.
Good seeing you play stasi again, used to watch your old altis series, I found it to be very relaxing. Even I have started playing stasi again however I have been using the antistasi ultimate mod, its rather similar with a few changes, notably different menus which I think look cleaner and polished
Quite a few people have recommended the ultimate version, I mainly picked this one as it seemed to be the most maintained and I wanted as much stability as I could get (thought that's asking for a lot in an ArmA game!)
Sweet, glad you are doing another Antistasi playthrough. I have learned alot watching you play, can survive firefights now on occasion and even get some loot.
I'm glad you've learned from these videos! It can be a steep learning curve getting into this mission but once you learn to "play the system" so to speak it gets better.
@@JackArden Can’t wait man. If I may, I have a small mod suggestion, Wilhelm Scream (Blufor). It doesn’t change anything gameplay wise, just adds a wilhelm scream occasionally for when blufor soldiers die, it’s a bit silly but could be fun lol
@@JackArden Yeah I’d say on a typical few hour long playthrough you’d hear it one to three times. Not enough to be annoying, but enough to still hear it sometimes
Just started again with Antistasi Ultimate 1 week ago. Its a gamemode i always have to come back to. I am looking forward to see more from you're gameplay.
Well now it's my turn to learn from the rest of you I'd imagine, I haven't played this mission in a long time and there's plenty of changes in this new version of it from what I can tell
@@JackArden Same here, i am very interesting to see what has changed, since it has been a hot minute for myself aswell. Looking forward watching you expand your operation :)
Watched your other series of Antistasi while looking for tutorials for me and my friends played through. Stayed for the great content, looking forward to watching this new series
Now I want to be absolutely clear when I say this, whenever you see Roadblock destroyed don't trust it, sometimes there's a dude running away so as soon as you get out of cover or approach the bodies etc etc he'll just start shooting you
Don’t know if you already knew this or not, but I believe it’s on this version of antistasi if you go to buy a vehicle and go to the “other” or “misc” tab (don’t exactly remember what it’s called) for about $100 you can buy a loot crate which if you use it then it will collect all loot in a 25 lm radius around you for as many uses as you want. You can also put it in the bed of the trucks or on the atv.
Extremely late! That was an old habit from an older version of the mission deleting gear in garaged vehicles when you did this but I've been doing it the other way to save time since playing this version.
I7 6700k, RTX 2060, 4x16GB DDR4. The game is CPU dependent so if you're struggling to run it smoothly, start there. I also find that postprocessing effects will tank performance no matter your specs so alter those too.
I think so, yes. If you've got the version I've linked in my video description installed, you need to host a LAN game, then when you pick Livonia the mission will be in that list.
I'm going to reinstall ARMA 3 for this. I always wanted to play Online ARMA 3 milsim but the bar is too high for entry. The 1 player campaign is not great. But Antistasi looks great. It looks like a single player cross between DayZ and the milsim game.
Sounds like a good idea, I'm in the same boat as you where the milsim online parts of the game just aren't accessible but I need something more than the single player campaign. I will warn you that Antistasi has an earned reputation for being a nightmare to play solo. I'd recommend overthrow instead, it's a much more fleshed-out experience that plays better.
Well...I played Arma 3 campain a while back and since I finished it I really wasn't up to Arma 3 anymore since campaign gets repetitive and finding some MP server without errors what's more on fun side of things than serious part is though And I literally found out about Antistasi recently, it's like week or 2 old videos (ussually most recent ones few days old what speaks about perfect mod for solo and "noobs" also easy to set up for friends to have blast in Arma 3) I also noticed there are couple of variations into it, like 4 or 5 days ago some guy talks about perfect mod for noobs and friends to play with where he talks about Antistasi, yet at the same time like 3 days ago he talks about "more advanced" Antistasi Ultimate for solo noobs I recommend to give a shot to Antistasi Ultimate and Antistasi Plus, it's pretty much same but I was catched off guard with differences between Antistasi and Antistasi Ultimate since there's same things but placed differently so it was quite confusion for me But this thing singlehandedly reignated my passion for Arma 3 and even tho it's frustrating I love it at the same time and I am looking for every day forward to boot PC before work or after work and enjoy myself in game, it's quite slow paced game, can go for months with slow progress, but it's worth it :)
Honestly, I wouldn't reccomend Antistasi to "noobs". Yes, it's easy to set up but it gets very intense/punishing later into the mission. Thanks for the recommendations though, a few others have mentioned other versions of the mission they want to see and once I've finished this playthrough I'll take a look at them.
@@JackArden well, in video he talks about that AI doficulty can be set up lower so when you are being shot at they won't instantly kill you, I just did campain and I have AI on lowest difficulty and still struggle And even with biggest amount of money you can start with it's still a grind, it helps with getting into it since you can explore more stuff in the beginning and it's supposedly easy to learn in antistasi that's why it was recommended for "noobs" Either way I am noob myself and like reload game all the time, main difference between "the mod" and "Ultimate" is that you need special kit to revive yourself in "Ultimate" so I am considering going back to "the mod" or trying out "plus" after I'll gather some more experience Also thanks for the "advanced movement" mod, it's life changer!
Advanced movement is such a great mod! It's one of the mods that you play with once and then can't go back to working without it because you feel so limited! If you haven't tried magrepack yet, I'd put it in that same category. AI difficulty doesn't necessarily apply to this mission because once you get past the opening you're going to have to contend with vehicles that can fire explosives. It doesn't matter about AI accuracy when dealing with turrets, which automatically laser beam without mods (there's a reason I show so much care around statics!), or explosives which splash so they only need to get close enough to catch you. The whole point is that you're contending with a more advanced and better equipped enemy force, so this is a given. Being easy to learn isn't a good point either, because to complete this mission you either need enough people to roll it or the knowledge to abuse game mechanics in a way that lets you get the advantage, especially when playing solo. It's really misleading to label ANY kind of CTI mission as "noob friendly" in my opinion. The starting few hours may feel like they're easy or simple, but once you start getting hammered by airstrikes, have tank columns come up over hills and every outpost you capture relentlessly taken back in the later stages of the game, it's clearly not who this was intended for. I've put over 600 hours into CTI missions and I would never recommend a "noob" play one until they have a better understanding of the game. Structured missions made with clear objectives in mind is where I'd point you. I'm sorry for the long reply but it really bugs me when people play on other's lack of knowledge to pull in views!
Thanks! I'm glad the series has helped you. If you check the video description there's a link to the RHS collection. You can subscribe to that on the steam workshop, and activate it in your A3 launcher. The factions I'm using will then appear in your mission setup when you start a new game.
You probably figured it out in a later video, but you notice those white crates that revived enemies leave. Those are the same as the loot (hoover) crate you can buy at the vehicle box. Allows you to suck up items from bodies and on the floor within a small radius. Move them around and offload them in a vehicle, or load itself into a cargo space of a vehicle (like the offroad). So you could have kept those smoke and explosive grenades without much of a hassle.

Glad to hear it
I love the antistasi series, excited to see how it plays on this map
I'm hoping it'll be a good experience, I'm mostly used to seeing this map at night from the Contact DLC so it'll be a good change

Thanks!
ANTISTASI!!! Love to see it. Your antistasi playthrus are my favorite by far. :)
Glad you like them!
Love new starts on antistasi, the early game feels so guerilla and improvised it’s amazing
I think that's why I like playing it solo so much, you're at more of a disadvantage so you still need to use guerrilla tactics for a lot of things.
