I loved this . Great looking breakfast, with a nice cup a Joe, and a Firebox stove, to tie it all together…Thanks!
Thank you very much, appreciate the feedback and the view, cheers Chris
Thumbs up, as always. That looked to be a very tasty recipe.
have missed your's and Connie's videos
Thanks a lot, first time trying it and it was actually really nice, cut some up and fried it off and had it in a soup too the next day, always a pleasure sir and ditto the comment above😊😊
@@phyllismulkey3778 Glad you have enjoyed the videos my friend.
Was just thinking we need a new upload from Chris! Nice one, as usual. I've got to admit I'd never heard of Nordic bacon!
Hey Ben, Cheers, neither had I until I saw it in the shop and thought it would do for a small video, it was in the polish section of Tesco, very nice indeed, but quite a bit on the naughty side that one, Cheers for watching and great to hear from you, Chris
Looks like something the Nords had transshipped from Canadia.... As in Canadian Bacon.... But who knows? Coulda been most anything.
That cast iron from Firebox is fantastic! You also go a really really great job advertising it with the great meal you cooked on it😋
Thanks Age, keep well, cheers Chris
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 Spring is here so hopefully the days will get nicer. That will be nice and we all can get out more and just being in nature😃
A Nuthatch too... I didn't realise red squirrels were as far south as nuthatches.
Never saw the nuthatches until I put the feeders out, great to get them both in the same shot, cheers for watching, Chris
It looks fun. like it cooks some good food.
Thanks for watching, it is great fun to use, the two items go hand in hand and I'm using it all the time, perfect for what I do, cheers Chris
looks good
Thank you again😎😎
I could do that also ..... er will be able to after the kickstarter ships.
Looked good Chris, where did you get that bacon? Great shots of that squirrel.
Hi Gregor, just on that recent trip I did to Scandinavia😎😎..or was it the polish section in Tesco😊😊👌👌
Hello Mr. Embers. Norm here from Cowchip/AL. Vicky opinionated halfway through your excellent vid that it is little wonder that you do so much cooking outside. She noted that you'd probably burn the kitchen down inside.
Here in NE Alabam spring is over, looks like. This afternoon the temp is in the middle 80's, up from the mid 70's (Temp is given in Fahrenheit which would also be X Celsius.) a week or two ago and that's gonna be the trend before it moves up into the mid 90's soon. You may know I feel a kinship wi' ye, my ancestors having been run out of Scotland a few hundred years ago, followed by Ireland and eventually England. I have NO idea why they were so unpopular. Might have been some of your people that threatened to hike their skirts if they didn't skedaddle. No way to tell. But just today we were flipping around looking for something to watch and there you were! As always you done good with your impossibly small stove. A very tasty meal, it looked like. If you were handy, as in close by I'd surely put you to work making my supper! As always....You are THE man!!!
Your bestest fan way over in Alabam,
Norm
Thanks Norm, always great to hear from you and always a great comment, sounds like you are way more advanced with your spring, it's still fairly cold here, hot when I cook though😎😎. Appreciate you and your wife taking time out of your day to watch my video, it's awesome of you, cheers Chris
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 Absolutely monstrous reply! You THE man! Woof!
looks similar to a polish bacon i came across, is it smoked?
Lol it was from the polish section right enough but it did say Nordic Bacon😂😂. How are you getting on?
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 well I've been to hell and am now waiting at the bus stop for a ride back
@@LezleysAdventures well genuinely I hope you recover speedily, the lack of videos was worrying me but I know it's a tough time.
