Imo, mixing a Great Dane and St. Bernard together makes an absolutely stunning dog. This handsome boy really stands out. I don't know if mixing these two breeds together is a good idea as I don't know enough about their individual health issues, but they sure do produce beautiful pups, at least this fellow is.
Hopefully this will buy Tiny some snacks. He truly is a handsome boy. Thought he might have had some Burnese Mountain Dog in him. Thanks for doing what you do for these beautiful pups. Ron
I think this is a super thanks, it’s next to the like and share button ❤ or I believe Vanessa put the Niagara Dog Rescue link in her description if that’s what you’re after
I wouldn't think of it as an issue more that this dog breed is quite protective like dobermans, that could be a possible positive for someone who has a family that they want to keep safe and can handle the size
Yeah that's just so strange. He's a dog. He's supposed to protect his family. And one look at that guy and my heart just melts. There's np aggression there, and this isn't exactly a pleasant experience for him
@@1234jazyI think a lot of people see that St. Bernards are mostly gentle giants and also make really cute puppies. They don’t always see the work that should go into these large breeds. So when they get older and start coming more into their personalities and showing who they really are their owners may not be quite as prepared as they thought they were. One thing I saw working in animal rescue myself is that people get puppies and kittens thinking they’ll be perfect for their family but they don’t always do their research on the breeds. Obviously his previous family did put some work into him since he knows his basic commands. But it sounds like they weren’t prepared for how protective Bernards can be. Same goes for Great Danes. Yeah they’re mostly very chill dogs. But just like every other dog they need to be around people at least. It’s aggravating to say the least when I see stories like Tiny’s. He’s probably a great dog he just needs some more training and socializing.
Animals usually know when someone is trying to help them. I bet he feels so good after this bath! Most importantly, I am convinced that when you talk to the camera using your voice, the animal senses that you are a kind, safe person.
For a dog who may be experiencing his very first bath, he was phenomenal - I'm impressed, Tiny. Hopefully he will find nail trims less scary as he has more of them. I don't know how you do it on such large dogs, Vanessa! 😂 You're a strong yet petitte woman, and I'm sure even a football player would have trouble with a large breed dog throwing their weight around. (That was so cute when he got on his hind legs to see where Vanessa was going - loved the tail wag! 😍) I sincerely hope Tiny finds a forever family vety soon. ❤
I'm willing to bet she has a strong core and good posture. I've met martial artists who are also very good at moving things above their weight class. I suspect a lot of construction workers and the like learn a similar set of skills.
our little polar bear Ace (a 100 kilo Bucovina (or Akbash - not entirely sure) and whatever mix) certainly gives me a run for my money when he catches me off guard. And I still outweigh him by 30 kilos...
Tiny is a very handsome boi, who did very well at his groom! That apologetic look he gave when you remarked that he was stinky...priceless. I'm sure he'll find his forever home soon!
Such a good boy. He settled down because Vanessa gives off a no nonsense vibe so he isn't on guard. My mini rescue cavapoo does not like me bathing her at all so I happily take her to a groomer every 6 weeks. She loves it, lots of pampering and treats and when I collect her, she is so happy. I love watching this channel, it is so informative and of course it's great to see our furry friends look great afterwards.
Sweet Tiny, he really seems like a loving boy. I loved when you stepped out of the shower and he was looking for you and wagged his tail when you spoke to him. I think he just needs a little socialization and a lot of love! He seems to have a lot of love to give ❤️
I had a neighbor who didn't understand the large-dog-small-children problem. She was stuck in a dog run so often, and when my family was taking care of her when I was a teen, she was so excited to romp and play with big enough people to get into it. I hope tiny has a hardy family find him with space to run and sturdy playmates.
Tiny will be a good companion for a family or individual who likes outdoor activities for sure! And with proper time spent, he can be a couch potato to cuddle with.
Poor guy is so stressed. I’ve just been getting to know my new dog who came from a shelter and it’s tough for both of us. We both have to trust someone new and figure out how to communicate. We’ve both made some mistakes too. It’s so important to be patient and to expect some bumps in the road. I hope Tiny finds a new friend soon.
We have 2 rescue dogs. The rescue gave us a hand-out advising an approximate timeliness for our dog/people relationship to progress. It is 3 days for them to de-compress & begin to feel safe/3 weeks for them to start to understand routines / 3 months to start seeing them trust & their true personality begins to show. We used to have a St. Bernard. He was an extremely laid back dog. It never occurred to us that he could be aggressive as he didn’t show that side. Our dog reminded him that there was protocol. It wasn’t a serious bite but scared us. We were more watchful after that. He was protecting us but still 🤷♀️. Lovely dog as a loving pet. I like how he was so worried when she clipped the nails and I felt so sorry for him for being so anxious, then the next clip is him just standing there wagging his tail again😂❤ all better
Tinys face in the shower reminded me so much of my Buffy. She's also a rescue and just stares in sorrow once she has to take a bath. Tiny also had that look of sorrow on him

I can't even imagine a great dane crossed with a saint Bernard in a kennel! That poor sweet soul! Hopefully he at least gets picked up by a rescue with Forster care after this video airs. I know that dane and Dane crosses tend to get picked up by rescue within 24 hours of decent social media exposure where I live. I hope Canada is the same! Love his darn face so much! Thank you for all you do for so many of our 4 legged friends - I'm sure Tiny will get adopted now with your showcasing him, what a handsome guy!
Nipping/biting out of fear, my boy is like that too; as she said it requires lots time and training.
He is a nice handsome child I hope he is in good health and thank you very much for your beautiful efforts may God reward you good ❤

Debio haber sido un cachorro hermoso, una vez que crecen la gente ya no los quiere :(
I hope he finds his forever home
Oh he is adorable!! I hope he finds his forever home soon, he deserves the world!
Tiny is so beautiful. Love his color and markings. My apartment is tiny. If I could, I would drive to ON to adopt him.
Awe… he is such a handsome boy! I pray he finds his forever home asap! 💙🐾🙏🏻💙🐾💙🙏🏻
If I wasn't sure he'd be scooped up in the amount of time it would take me to get there, I'd take him myself. Thank you for making these rescue dog videos Vanessa! 🥰🥹🩷🩷🩷

Same. It's good to know we're in such good company 😄
I have the same reaction!
Always worth the trip hazard running
He's certainly combined his parental components into great looks!
Awe I hope he finds a good forever home
What an incredibly handsome boy!!
When you said it was the 3rd cannister of shampoo I laughed. Poor guy had to go through three baths for his first time! He held up pretty well, considering😄. You made him so pretty, I hope he gets adopted before he gets stinky again😊.
He is so squishably adorable..... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good luck, Tiny, in having a very special, appreciative adoptive family! WOOF! 🐶💓
He is beautiful. I hope he finds a wonderful family! I'm in Florida or I would take him.
