Strategies dictate how your AI acts, you are telling them what to do. You don't want to tell them what to do when you don't even know what all those things do! Learn in this video all the different combinations you can have when it comes to strategies!

Offensive pressure also affects AI breakouts, namely in drop-in. On full attack, they will be more aggressive on breakouts, where on defend lead, they will be more cautious. It also affects when you're on the PK. On defend lead, they will clear the puck every chance they have. On full attack, they generally won't clear and rather try to make a breakout.
Like the tips. Any help on winning shootouts? I score at a decent rate on breakaways but can't score penalty shots
One of my favorite penalty shot moves is to skate full speed forward and right in front of the goalie, stop, and then do a backhand forehand or forehand backhand at an open net. You want to stop far away enough to make sure he doesn't poke check you
Any changes for the new tuner?
HOly smokes that's a lot to learn. Haven't bought an NHL game since 2006 and now have this. How long does it take to get used to?
A lot of these strategies make only very small changes in the way your AI play, so I wouldnt try to learn everything all at once. The main offensive strategies (overload, behind the net, crash) and defensive ones (collapsing, etc.) are the most important. Then when it comes to sliders its really, do you want them to play passive or aggressive and either set them all to the left or to the right accordingly

Not enough on which strategy is better for what situation in the game...it was mainly just explaining the text.
how about a video on why top players fly around at top speed, win every puck battle and ai is always in their position
i feel like momentum is a thing. But maybe im crazy. Also staying in position helps alot. If you skate players out of position fore check/neutral zone traps dont work.
Is there strategies to make ai d-man play better in 3’s?
Thats tough because the ai dman is by himself with a lot of open space. Id say if you want him to play smarter put all of the strategies as passive as possible so that he will be as far down as he can and try to buy you guys time to get back and help him

So I am just starting out and hadn’t played this game since 2016, this guy I played had Gretsky, malkyn, Subban, pekka... it was like playing a all star team... how he get all these players already? They couldn’t have been all loaners either... I got killed ... what fun it is to kill a guy 8-1... why bum around in low levels .. with a team like that? It like me playing football with 3rd graders
Ivan Bundy every returning player got Wayne, plus he probably ripped a ton of packs. Keep up bro. Play some hut challenges. Talk to the players that wax you and get some tips. There’s a ton of button combos that exceed the basics
What are these guys setting up in playing chel the ai does everything my Ai does nothing
Won 3-0 but guy dominated me on time on attack first game.. it lacks a lil bit offense and AI seems less involved even if they already are less involved.
Yeah I want them to be more passive because of how the mechanics are this year. All AIs can do for you is run into people and hope the puck ends up on their stick for you.
I'd say the behind the net strategy should make up for offense
Finally they are horrible but ty for the breakdown. Prefer AI a bit more involved and more offensive or you're kinda easy to shutdown otherwise
why do i get locked on to one position at random? how do i control the whole team??
What game mode are you playing? In EASHL and Be a Pro you are only going to control one player. In game modes like HUT, Versus, Play Now, Franchise you can choose between one person or controlling the whole team. Make sure that when you are in the team select screen you don't press down on the right stick to lock onto a position. If you look at where your controller is on that screen, either below that or above that it will say a bunch of letters like "LD" or "RW" and that means you are locked to a position. If you aren't locked to a position, it won't say anything.
Brianstormed its franchise mode but nevermind. i figured it out. i was pressing down on one of the triggers while in the select team screen which causes to lock on to a single position (which i didnt know of)
I haven’t watched yet but I’m assuming it’s set to trap and rock a 1-4. Im in division 4 and it seems everyone is rocking it.. sorta annoying
Well no, this video teaches what each setting does lol. But yeah it's usually 1-4 or 1-3-1
