    BS..SF..FT..TB. backhand beats sticklift.. Sticklift beats forhand.. Forhand beats tie up.. Tie up beats backhand. Then just remember backhand sticklift beats tie up and forhand sticklift beats backhand sticklift. Memorize.

    There has to be a backhand glitch, at least for eashl... My ping is excellent, definitely not an issue at all, and I can win a lot but sometimes I go against someone who I cant win a single faceoff all game. No tie up or anything, no counters nothing. They go backhand every single time and I can do nothing about it. What's up with that?

    So basically always default to basic backhand. If they do the same, do tie-ups to make them do something different, then go back to basic backhand. If they do tie-ups, do backhand sticklifts to get them doing something else, then go back to basic backhand.

    I think something that was missed in this video is in regards to strategy. Use the knowledge of the counters to your advantage. For example, if you line up with a forehand grip, most players will try to counter you with the backhand sticklift. Instead of doing a basic forehand when the ref drops the puck, which is countered by said backhand sticklift, do a forehand sticklift which beats the backhand sticklift. Mix these up during the course of a game and your opponent won't know which counter to use against you

    • @drive4showputt4dough
      @drive4showputt4dough 4 роки тому

      Use this strategy with the tie up as well, I don't use forehand tie up often because backhand sticklift beats both basic forehand as well as tie up. I try to mix up using basic backhands and tie-ups so my opponent doesn't know what counter to use. In addition, if you are playing EASHL, communicate with your teammates when you are going to use a tie-up so someone can come in and retrieve the puck

  • @phillipshukhnov8757
    @phillipshukhnov8757 4 роки тому

    totally off topic but they should add street hockey with different strategies for everything. Slap shots should be weaker and the goalie should have a harder time keeping track of the puck. They should also add a custom play design like you win the faceoff and the with McDavid sprint forward receive the pass on the blueline and attempt to get a breakaway.

    Hi brain have you been experiencing a lot of lag for all online hut modes I just got the game and tried to play 4 games and all have been full of lag. What happens is theres a few seconds of lag then everything speeds up. So far this game has been unplayable which sucks I have the same set of as always and this is the only game doing it. Any tips on how to fix this thanks

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  4 роки тому +1

      Hey James, yeah this game can be a bit unbearable at times with the connection problems. One of the biggest things I can tell you regarding the connection is before you go into an online game there will be a bar that between green and red that shows your connection to the game. if its anything other than green, quit out of the game its really not worth the hassle. Otherwise, making sure you are using a wired connection and forwarding your ports will help

    I’ve been winning face offs 60% or better all the time, except in eashl a week ago I couldn’t win a face off even if I had the right counters. I was still good in hut, just something was wrong in eashl. I was lagging quite a bit, do you think that was it even tho the lag didn’t happen during the faceoff?

    • @raymondejetty7489
      @raymondejetty7489 4 роки тому +1

      Timing in online play is hard to gage when there is more than two people (more importantly "consoles") connected to the game. HUt is most often 1 on 1 so it will be more consistent and easier to keep in time with than when theres a bunch of people on different consoles from all over the place on EASHL. So there's greater opurtunity to lagg when there's more consoles involved. I dont know for sure but that seems logical to me. I find in lagging games the faceoffs appear to be smooth but the off timing makes me think its just made to look that way so people dont get too frustrated. I could be way off in my observations but I have a much harder time winning faceoffs in a lagging game. Sometimes when the game only begins to lagg half way through I can go from an 80% at that point to not winning another. And sometimes the guy is destroying me on faceoffs and I start winning them all so it makes me wonder if sometimes he's experiencing lag. I would assume it could be possible that the game only lags for 1 of the two competitors. Or in Eashl only for some of the competitors. Hard to tell when you can't ask the other guy if he experienced lag as well. I'm not a top player but I've noticed a lagging game always seems to have great connection during faceoffs but my faceoffs always go down hill quick at those times so I think it does play a big part. In those situations I would say give the faceoff a try but really focus on where you need to be because if he wins because you'll likely lose the draw until the connection is back to normal.

    Is there a reason why every time I try to use any of the forehand grips, it makes me try to win the faceoff? I’m using a leftie and every time I push the right stick left, it makes me try to win the faceoff as if I pushed it up .

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  4 роки тому

      It could be an issue with your controller if youve had it for a long time. It may register your input to the left as being a lot higher (maybe at 10 oclock) which triggers the tie up instead. Ive had that happen to me before

  • @aleksiviitala9579

    I disagree on one of these. I have noticed that tieup ALWAYS wins forehand sticklift.

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  4 роки тому

      I kind of see what you mean. If it's a toss up between a forehand sticklift and tieup then the player who did a tieup tends to have a player go toward the center. In a way, they do have the advantage there but its not a direct win. The forehand sticklift is my go-to on a defensive zone faceoff and I often up with the puck even though I know that my opponent has gone for a tieup (they have been doing it all game).
