Love the "Little Tikes" whiteboard! You gotta go with what you've got! In all seriousness - great video. I find myself too close to structure way too often. Gonna take your advice and back it up a bit to cover an area with more thoroughness. And thanks for the kind words about the Javelin. Todd Fleury - Harvey Baits.

Lol, I got young kids and the Little Tikes drawing board was handy. No budget for fancy white boards. Lol
Thanks for watching and thanks for making an awesome line up of baits!

I LOVE the whiteboard!! I have a couple of spots in mind for my home lake that are similar to what you were describing here. I'm saving this video to refer to it again, so much good stuff in here. Awesome content, thanks.

Excellent video, a lot of good information to apply on the water. I have a lot of tools to you for musky fishing just need the confidence to use them in the right situations. Dive and rise baits is most definitely my favorite style of fishing. Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate you tuning in! And you are right about confidence, once you find that it becomes easier to succeed for sure! But knowing 'what' you want to do it always key!

Dang it Glenn now you got me shopping for some Harvey Baits! If you have not tried a Beaver Bait you are in for a treat. Can’t wait to fish Thaddeus and Lac Seul again this summer. Heading to Iowa in two weeks. Jump the border you are welcome to come along.

Great video! We fish lakes that have similar structure and will try these tactics. Any tips on fishing a basin lake with deep open water that doesn't involve trolling? Prefer to cast. Suspect this is where the 40+ fish are hanging in early summer

Open water, early season fish are a needle in a haystack. Guys like Brad Hoppe have had great success targeting these fish and have wrote about it in Musky Hunter. Look for areas connected to the closest spawning area, work out into the basin from there and target the depth of relative structure. The fish will most likely be suspended at a depth similar to the closest structure.
Good luck and appreciate you watching, thanks!

Will have to try some of these. My tiger lake has no vegetation or shallow habitat. All deep, and rocky. Very hard to figure out where the fish are.

Great video! A question I have is where to look for bigger fish in the spring? I find a good number of 32-40s in shallow weeds but never seem to find bigger fish until July or later, any tips?

Carter, great question! I'll mark that one down and try and tackle that in an upcoming video! Thanks for watching.
