Glad you found benefit in the board and train! For the walking outside we found it helpful to alternate between heeling and letting the dog explore and using the exploration as a reward for heeling nicely. So if she checks in on me and stay on my side for a while I’ll tell her “go sniff” and she is super excited to go sniff all the stuff. It’s called Premack’s principle if you’ve heard of it before.
