Allyn, every single time I listen or watch I just sit back and enjoy how great you are at delivering a message. Half the time I can't speak half a sentence and get it out correctly but your words flow and it is such a natural thing. Thank you for sharing all of this!

Yo Allyn! I'm a heating and cooling professional in Iowa, maybe look into a Mitsubishi ductless minisplit for you garage. Keep yourself comfortable and focused on droppin lawn knowledge on us all.

@@LawnsAcrossAmerica I've got a minisplit in my bonus room above the garage. It's great and runs only when you want it to and uses hardly any power. It's very quiet as well - most times I can't even tell it's on. It cools down the room quickly!

Eric from Mass here... Massachusetts had rain 21 of 30 days in April. Officially the most days of rain in April & it has been depressing here. Been great to get products watered in without irrigation, but we have had some short time windows to get mowing done.
I have been mowing my tttf at 2.75 last week I put it up to 3" the lawn did not look mowed. I ended up changing the height back to 2.75 and double cut it. That made a big difference. But looks like I will start at 3" this week as the lawn looks taller after putting down humic 12

Lol, yesterday I saw this huge clump of weed grass going to seed. So I rip it out by hand and I'm thinking, dang this weed has a lot of nice tall fescue mixed with it!

Here in MN, most lawns are still brown and only starting to green up. My lawn is about 80% green. Lots of brown or dead grass in the green across the whole damn lawn. Still dominating my neighbors though. lol
I'm pretty sure I screwed up with spring seeding. The weather's so hit and miss here in WI. Last Friday it was 72 and sunny and now it's in the 50's during the day and 40's at night. Should I keep with it or is this seed a total loss?
Is it possible to have overseeded to much? If so what can you do to correct it or will aeration help?
Is it too late to seed for warm season grass? Centipede in particular? Have huge bare spots but do have some healthy areas.
Allyn, you mentioned humidity/dew on the lawn and possible fungus? So along the gulf coast with Centipede should I keep a look out for brown patches?

Hey Allyn, just a thought here....if someone has a push mower (not self propelled) most of them are I think 1/2 inch wheel spindles, meaning that you can buy aftermarket wheels with a 1/2 inch hole in the center. If you have for example, all wheels at 8 inches and your mower height goes from 1-4 inches, then if you buy 4 11 inch diameter wheels, now you can mow from 2 1/2 inches to 5 1/2 inches tall. Just a tip for people mowing overgrown grass or crazy people. I think you can buy wheels up to like 14 inches. Every inch should add 1/2 inch height.
My mower has 7 inch wheels in front and 8 inch in rear. I have TTTF so getting bigger wheels will give me great adjustment options. So I could get my mower to mow like 3-7 inches 3 inches being the lowest setting
Shared this mainly because the call who can't mow because of raining so much. Buy a cheap mower at a garage sale, and put big wheels on it. Now you can mow tall grass and only cut off 1/3
