You forgot that the 9 gets really excited about the new planner and says she’s going to write everything down and then starts to feel overwhelmed so she gives up. 🙃

Hahaha, love it! Here's my take as a 9: make a prioritized todo-list for tomorrow, actually accomplish about 40% of it, then realize the _real_ priorities were in exactly the opposite order. 9's like me have redefined "sloth" as always being busy at doing the wrong thing. I have committed this error so many times, it's comical. However, since learning about the Enneagram, I'm hopeful that years from now, I'll learn to do it less often. :-P

Inorite? Love this duo! I vacillate between feelings of "nailed me!" and "omg, personally attacked!", but I I know they have my best interest at heart and wouldn't dream of hurting me in any way (yep, I'm a 9). Anyway, loved your comment, and I'm sure you are the only person who constructed words together in that particular formation today! :-D
I'm a 1....every day, I even schedule a time to plan out the next day. Sometimes you just have to embrace the one!

I’m a 9. I’m always excited about a new planner, but slowly over time I stop using it because it either gets stressful or the layout isn’t quite right or I realize that if I don’t get a phone call reminder about an appointment then it wasn’t really necessary that I go. 😂

This is so real. I always try to make to-do lists and then I keep having to shift stuff to the next day cause I don't do it .... then I reject the planner altogether. Pull it out a couple months later and start the process anew.
I’m a 7 and I have a planner cuz it’s pretty and I like to feel like I’m “adulting” but no...I’m not writing stuff in it. When I do write it’s with a lot of colors and stickers so it looks fun!
ALittleLoving I have a planner too (7w6) and I use it to memory plan...keep track of all those fun things I have done, but tend to not write things like To Do lists cuz I never refer back to them 😂
I DIED with the nine calling the teacher to mediate cause her daughter is an 8 and used a tone with the teacher 😂 the 8s in our lives... we love them but they keeping adding more to our plate

I’m a 3! I actually DO have a planner for my planners. 😂😂😂 it helps keep my planners organized on all my plans for big accomplishments. 💖

@@romanab.9249 you’re probably right lol. us 3’s tend to only watch UA-cam (or other entertainment) after we feel like we’ve deserved it (i.e. after we got a lot done that day). As a 3, it’s hard to relax so we probably aren’t watching very much UA-cam and if/when we do, it’s related to learning something about a goal we’re trying to accomplish.

that's me, for once that i took it seriously and bought one then happened all the things we know lol
I am a 5 with an even wing (4&6) and this is so accurate. The 5 in me repeats the same things each week, and I keep it down to 3 things in the morning and if those get done I do three more in the afternoon. My 4 wing makes me doodle and draw and write random quotes and bible verses all over the planner. My 6 wing makes me plan out menus, plan out work stuff, plan outings. You ladies are my favorite Enneagram channel. You make me laugh. Thank you for putting out new videos all the time.
I’m also a bi-winged 5! And you hit the nail on the head - my 5 goes for consistency and repetition, my 4 goes far too ambitious in the vein of creativity, and my 6 goes for the plans to make it look like I’m somehow holding my life together in this chaos year 🤣🤣🤣
Didn't even know you could be bi-winged! But now it makes sense. Dislike "journaling", but have tons of notepads with notes, to-do plans, and creative ideas written down in them.
I am a 4w5, now I know why my day planners always look like a diary, with pictures and doodles and research info about all kind of stuff lol! Great video!

“As a 5 I’ll never feel ready”.... been trying to start an Etsy shop for 3 years and just haven’t been able to do it yet. 🤣😬 should add something in with the 5’s about needing to schedule time in their planner with family/friends and then visibly sweats/cringes. lol

I’m a 7 and I don’t use a planner, but I LOVE my giant whiteboard where I write down all of the many things I’d like to do and eat and buy so that my family can keep up with my plans!
I'm a 9w1, but I have ADD, so I feel a bit more like the 7 here. I do not keep a paper planner. I have a large wall calendar (which isn't on my wall) that I use more like a diary, mainly for my garden. I set alerts and alarms on my phone for all kinds of things: appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, sports, etc.
Somehow, I still manage to forget and miss things. 🙄😄
I laughed out loud at the 8 scheduling family time, “I always forget that.” Here I sit as an 8 w.6 and went, “wow that’s so terrible and accurate I can’t believe I forget family time if I don’t schedule it.” I’ve gotten better and more intentional though, I promise. Lol

Except your wing has to be an adjacent number. Example: I'm a 4w5. In your case, either a 7 or 9 wing

"Who wants to live in that type of prison?" "I probably should...I probably should..." Oh the life of a 7! I've said those exact things when my friends show me their color coded planners and I'm like..."I set my alarm for each morning. That's as far ahead in planning my day as I want to go!!
I don't tell my 7 son about something until the day before or a few days before. He never remembers and it is useless. Ha! But I love him to death, spoken as a 9.🙂
5 here....for me, a planner takes waaaaay too much energy and I feel boxed in and like I must answer to my planner, feels invasive 🤣. I've tried using planners and it lasts four days before I resent the whole practice.

@@susanscandles yes, same for me too. Come back and update here if you ever stumble upon a "5 ish" planner🙃. For now, my method is limited to keeping daily written to do lists or my notepad app with looooots of random folders.

I’m a 4 and didn’t feel very accurately represented by the 4 in here so now I’m like “Am I a true 4???” Which I realized also reinforces how truly I am a 4 😂 😂

Love these! I could watch a new Enneagram vid every day! Keep 'em comin'! No pressure tho, don't want you to feel pressured. Take a nap first, if you need to. (As a 9, I love the restrained anger you've built into her character. Gotta say, though, she may want to try being married to a 4. Much less stressful than the 9 - 7 arrangement she's got going. Until the 4 has negative feelings...ooof....the feelings of the 4! ay yay yay....)
Color coded lists yes! Every time I watch these videos, I'm like "I feel like I'm a mix between a 1 and 3," which I know isn't possible, but I also relate a lot to the overachiever, which makes sense as a perfectionist. I think types 1 and 3 should have been closer together. Should reorder them so the overachiever is type 2 and the helper is type 3, then I would definitely be a 1w2.

Yes! I’m a 6 and this is so accurate. I buy the same planner brand every year. One year I bought an different one and I’m convinced my year was a disaster because I had a different brand than usual.

Have you thought about Ennegrams on Zoom calls? I can see the 7 somehow playing with Snapshot or TikTok within Zoom.

As a 7 planner lover, I figured out that instead of writing down what i have to do, I write it down afier it happens! Kind of like a record of how much fun I had and all the things I did. Lots of stickers too!
Yep, and it's gotta have doodles and decorations. A clean black and white page will get ignored.

I'm a 5w4, and the 5-planner was mostly me! I have so many planners... Daily, hourly, writing, nannying... lol (I'm also super minimalistic with my planners. Clean lines only).

I’m a 7….spot on!!! I’m a teacher and probably the only one who doesn’t use a planner. I have a general idea of where we are going in my head, but you never know where life will take you!!😂
I'm a 4 and I tried a regular planner and couldn't stick with it.. but bullet journals! I looove filling my month at a glance with doodles and fonts and themes. It brings me joy to listen to movie musical scores while drinking a tea latte and doodling to my heart's content. Plus, it makes me feel more unique because no one has the spread I create, but me ;)
7: But I LOVE using my planner!! Looks at it. Literally nothing written beyond today. Yep, definitely just a record of fun things in a pretty planner with a blank, empty, future full of potential. You two are getting SO good at these!

My husband is a 1, and he actually bought this fancy spice rack shelf thing that fits in the cabinet... which I thought was very cute, as long as I didn’t have to help him set it up lol. Also, I’m a 9 and the idea of keeping a planner is extremely stressful. Is that just me? 😂 But they’re super cute!

As a nine, these are so true for my planner! Additionally, I only write down one activity/must-do per day bc I don’t want my “thing” to cause problems/intrude on other people in the family and what they want to do.
I'm a 4w5... My planner has daily goals to appease the wing 5 AND quirky daily holidays and random recipes to try (I'm a chef who is a 4)! Too accurate!

@@kryzysta Pretty sure my wife is a 1 (she's just starting studying the Enneagram), I'm a 9, and I don't think she quite understands the cold chills I get when she asks, "what would you like to eat while we're on vacation [or honestly any time]?". :-D I didn't understand either, until last year when our local church pointed me to the Enneagram. :-D

oh my gosh...I am 3 and that was way too accurate. My day is filled with all the things and goals with check boxes. And then water goal check boxes 😶I literally do that everyday.

Well, I’m normally a 4.. but when it comes to planners, I am 100% a 5. I had the same discussions/debates as I’m trying to figure out planner life.
I’m an NFP 6 so I don’t do that … but I know most sensing 6’s would! That is so my step mom haha!
As a 5, I have watched every planner video on UA-cam to try and decide which one would fit my needs the best. But I get so overwhelmed by the choices I never buy one.

An all in one paper planner, that’s evolved, durable, and ‘for what purpose/what is it actually’ (halving all tasks/blank space). 4, 5, 6 (and the coffee cup marks from 7)

Love this! I'm a 7 but I have a hard 8 wing and my tritype is 7,8,3 (are tritypes actually a thing), so I found 8 and 3 to actually be much more relatable for me.
