Interesting. So many of the 5s I've spoken to say Physical Touch is their love language. Some might be surprised by this, but a person who is frequently stuck in their head or holed up in solitude often appreciates a partner who can pull them out of their head and ground them in physical, sensory reality. Quality time is a close second, and words of affirmation third. I think the 5w6s are more likely to prefer words of affirmation, while the 5w4s prefer quality time & possibly physical touch.

I can't really relate to the love language thing as a receiver. But as a 5 my love language is gift giving. I pay attention to what people like or prefer and am always on the look out for gifts. For myself, I appreciate it when people acknowledge the hard work I put in to helping and serving them. Especially as I'd rather not have had to do it in the first place most of the time. 😁
9w1 and yes, exactly. I mostly don't care. I'd rather spend time at home making a meal together and doing everything we normally do in our regularly scheduled lives. Routine all the way! Luckily, my husband is an 8 and doesn't care about the holiday. We don't do presents, 1 less thing to worry about. Also you did it wrong." (And yes, I am a monster, and this attitude is why my husband is now scared to load the dishwasher.) 2. Love the bar graphs! 3. I think that "physical touch" and "gifts" both have a stigma about them that may skew the results. Those are my top two love languages, but it feels weird to admit it, because physical touch implies sexuality (completely unnecessarily, because I just want to hug you!) and gifts implies materialism (also unnecessarily, because I would love a hand-crafted playlist). 4. I do make rather spontaneous decisions (especially when travel is involved), which often concerns my more reserved friends, and I am pretty quick to make random friends on solo trips... But while I'm friendly, I'm definitely introverted, as people quickly exhaust me. (Part of why I like solo trips- no obligation to stay with the other humans.) I don't see myself as interesting so much as I see life as interesting. I don't enjoy routines, and thrive on the freedom of making a spontaneous plan and just rolling with it. I don't see life with the limits others do. And while I don't own a pet because I don't want my spontaneity to be limited by such responsibilities... I would totally figure out how to make an exception for a camel. 😂😂😂 (The ones I've met have been so sweet and charming haha) But if we're taking Myers Briggs, I'm a total INTP. 😂😂😂
