Thanks for the kind words Vortonovic! It's an Oz delivered vehicle with some additions from other markets ie UK and Japan. The Holley is tuned to give good economy (primary barrels) and a healthy top end kick (secondary barrels). The trans is from an R30...L4N71B hydraulic Cheers man!
The box is from a late R30. The early VL's and R31's ran these hydraulic boxes. Use an L bellhousing and 4 speed L flexplate for the conversion. Needs tailshaft and crossmember mods to make everything fit. I know a guy with a 4 door pillarless in Oz. I doubt he wants to sell it though. Check out 'Import Monster' for your car import needs. Hey?, What sort of car did you get your auto out of?, R30 L24 skyline? or R31 RB30 skyline (86?-91?). How is you coupe coming along? I have all but given up chasing down the coupe i spotted in hobart , He dosent seem to be too interested in getting rid of it, and wants to "drive it into the ground", there is a lot of rust in it and alot of the interior trim is missing, so I`m now looking to find a 4dr hard top, u know of any in oz? I`m looking into a good one X-Japan. GO THE DAT!
