This is one of those videos that i just had to make, keeping all this useless information in my head does me no good lol. So let's talk about it! Link to the Discord Server: / discord
I wasn’t a huge fan of the exo zombies crew, but it was awesome that they got Bill Paxton, Jon Bernthal, Rose McGowan, John Malkovich, and Bruce Campbell all in one game
Bruce Campbell came back to do his voice lines for his character Ash Williams for his bundle in MW2 2022. Every actor went in does about 40 minutes of lines then goes again with only about 40 lines being used. Bruce Campbell, went in and did his lines and COD uses all of them. Nearly 4 hours worth of lines. The only person to have all there lines in the game
The exo zombies crew were great. Felt a bit like the old days of zombies. Bo3-onwards was far, far too serious with its characters and the constant talking
The most interesting fact that I found out about Tome Kane is that, besides voicing Takeo, he also voices Yoda in a plethora of Star Wars media. Such a coincidence, because both cod zombies and Star Wars were two franchises that I liked a lot as a kid.
Genuinely one of the most talented voice actors of all time. His performance as Takeo especially was simply something else. It's a shame he was forced into early retirement, but he definitely deserves a rest after all he's done for us. I really hope he's doing well.
I have a couple like how Tom Kane voice of Takio also voiced Professor Utonium from Power-Puff Girls Fred Tatascore voice of Nikolai did like a ton of voice work but the one I most remember him as Soldier 76 from Overwatch Nolan North voice of Richtofen did the voice of Deadpool in the old Deadpool game from a few years back and also Steve Blum voice of Dempsey did the voice of Wolverine in the Deadpool game as well and Micheal Rooker in Call of the Dead I know he’s a actual person in real life but I also know him as the guy who played Yondu from the Guardians of The Galaxy Movies (my mind is full of interesting fun facts too)
Lil fun fact, Fred Tatasciore also voiced The Tank from both L4D1 and L4D2. Also Scott Menville did VA work for COD before in the oldest COD titles, being United Offensive and Big Red One, which both are developed both by Grey Matter and Treyarch.
Also another lil fun fact, Dave Boat voices the fucking Doom Hunter in Doom Eternal as well as some other characters. Just thought that was funny to bring up.
Lance Henrikson's Shepard portrayal is my favorite villian. Also, he provided the voice for Admrial Hackett from the Mass Effect series. Dude has the best voice
My favorite voices of COD will always be (This will be a long list): Bill Murray (Captain Price) Kevin Mckidd (Soap) Craig Fairbass (Gaz and Ghost (Both Original)) James Burns (Frank Woods) Sam Worthington (Alex Mason) Ed Harris (Jason Hudson) Ice Cube (Joseph Bowman) Gary Oldman (Viktor Reznov and Dr. Clarke) Brian Bloom (Yuri) Steve Blum (Tank Dempsey) Fred Tatasciore (Nikolai Belinski and Ludvig Maxis) Tom Kane (Takeo Masaki) Nolan North (Dr. Edward Richthofen) There's more but I can only remember those right now.
Captain Price was voiced by Billy Murray, not Bill Murray. These are 2 completely different actors. Ps. Brian Bloom also played the main character in the IW campaign.
Yes Tom Kane also voice Admiral Yularen, and the narrator in The Clone Wars, he also voice Commissioner James Gordon, Amadeus Arkham, and Quincy Sharp in Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City.
Here are another interesting voice roles: Keith David (Dr Facilier from Princess and the Frog and Husk from Hazbin Hotel) as Sgt. Foley (CoD MW2) Ice Cube as Joseph Bowman (CoD Black Ops) Jason Statham as Sgt. Waters (CoD 1) 50 Cent as Navy SEAL Commander (CoD MW2) Claudia Doumit (That's right, Victoria Neuman from The Boys) as Farah (CoD MW reboot trilogy) Michael Keaton as Jason Hudson (CoD Black Ops 2 - replaced Ed Harris) William Fichtner as Sandman (CoD MW3) Troy Baker as Brooks (CoD Black Ops) Tony Todd (a.k.a. William Bludworth from Final Destination movies) as Admiral Briggs (CoD Black Ops 2) Idris Elba as Truck (CoD MW3) Travis Willingham as Sergei "The Monster of Magadan" (CoD Black Ops)
A good one is Troy Baker is in MW2 And AW. He's Joseph Allen at the start of the campaign who goes undercover for No Russian. He's then the main character in AW.
What's interesting too about about alex mason in the lore it states his father was a ww2 veteran from the pacific theater more specifically in Makin Atoll, the first mission of world at war! This makes sam's appearance in hacksaw ridge even more epic
Even though they probably won't do it, there should be like a lore easter egg for world at war remaster where we fight along side of Mason sr for one mission before he is injured and dragged to safety by a marine boat near the end
Not mentioned… -Glenn morshower was overlord in both mw2 and the movie “black hawk down” - Idris Elba voices Truck in mw3 - ice cube voices bowman in bo1 -William fichtner voices sandman mw3
Then there’s Keith David, who was Sgt Foley in MW2 2009, then he came back as Spawn in MW2 2022. He’s so well known that I doubt I need to mention any of his roles.
Glenn Morshower was in COD4 way back in 2007 by voicing Overlord and Command in MW2 (2009); he is your baseline Government Guy” or “Military Guy” in all of video games and movies
In the Sylvester Stallone action movie Cliffhanger, Michael Rooker (Harper from Black Ops II) shared a fight scene with Craig Fairbrass, who voiced Gaz in Call of Duty 4, Ghost in OG Modern Warfare 2, Sgt Wallcroft in OG Modern Warfare 3 and Tee in Infinite Warfare
I’ve always been able to recognize a few of my favorite VA’s as extras in most Cod games. Travis Willingham, Matthew Mercer, Troy Baker and Liam O’brein to name a few. Mostly in the older games, you can hear them as generic campaign or multiplayer characters
John de Lancie played Rushmore in Alpha Omega, he is also Q in Star Trek and he is in Stargate. Malcom Mcdowell is also in Star Trek Generations. Also Robert Picardo, plays McNamara, the Shadowman and whole bunch of characters in COD, he was also in Star Trek Voyager and Stargate.
Do you remember the first season of Daredevil? There were those two Russian brothers that were criminals? One of the brothers, played by Gideon Emery was Gideon in Advanced Warfare, the other brother was played by Nikolai Nikolaeff, who was also Andrei Nolan on the MW3 reboot.
How could you forget about how John Jizzo YT666 auditioned for the role of the little girl in Call Of Duty MW3 (2011). Или нашего земляка - Константина Лавиша, голос и лицо Баркова! ЗА РОССИЮ!
Since I really grew up on teen titans, hearing Robin giving me random gun facts is what makes him one of my favorite characters in zombies😂(apart from rictofen of course).
When he said, "glenn morshower was already in call of duty before he played as the reboot gen shepherd" I thought he's going to say that morshower was the voice of overlord in the OG MW2.. LMAO
Zombies felt like a bunch of friends making stuff as they go along; When your with friends a lot of you are doing multiple voices and characters since it's just you and your friends and the prims group voice like half of the characters in zombies.
Ik this is kinda off topic, but I miss factions in the multiplayer and their themes. The voice actors, although over the top, it felt like ur in that faction. It added an another legitimacy to the campaign, and it felt like, well a battlefield/ skirmish.
Brian Bloom also done a lot in the cod franchise as well, he played Yuri, captain nick reyes as well as lotta additional voices, done a lot of mocaps as well
Chad Collins voiced Alex Keller who also stars in SNIPER movies. Alex is also a skilled sniper and also worked for the CIA just like Brandon Beckett in SNIPER movies.
Keith Szarabajka has done some absolutely iconic roles outside of CoD Zombies. He played Herschel Biggs in L.A. Noire, one of Cole Phelps many amazing sidekicks. And who cant for get his role as the Burned Man himself, Joshua Graham in the Fallout New Vegas DLC Honest Hearts.
Infinite Warfare: David Hasslehoff, Kit Harington, Paul Reubens Advanced Warfare: Alan Tudyk, Troy Baker, Kevin Spacey Modern Warfare III (2023): Warren Kole, Tina Ivlev (nightsister in the Jedi games) Black Ops III: Jeff Goldblum Ghosts: Stephen Lang Mob of the Dead: Ray Liotta, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen WW2: Josh Duhamel
Darin de Paul - General Hank Rideau/BAT Elite (WWII Zombies) and Professor Gabriel Krafft (Vanguard Zombies) His voicework is extensive and impressive. Fred Tatasciore also voiced Marcus "Lerch" Ortega (MW19) Nick Boraine - Stanton Shaw (BO4 Chaos Zombies) and Colonel Norris (MW19)
Going down the Rabbit hole w/ Steve Blum as Dempsey whom Voice acted Bane and Killer Croc in Rocksteady's Arkham games, Nolan North as Eddie Voiced Nathan Drake, and Deadpool. And on Top of that, 3/4 of them were prisoners in Arkham City
not a single mention of IW zombies smhmh jk fr tho this video is a nicely put together one But Paul Reubens as Willard Wyler absolutely knocking it out of the park with his role. Awesome main cast as well, with Seth Green as Pointdexter for one.
Voices are more memorable than the reboots which just replace voice actors who are eager ro return (Frank Woods old VA) and finding actors who can look the part for some reason
You mentioned that Rusman is voiced by the didact from halo. That’s crazy enough as is but what’s even crazier is that va voices Joshua Graham from Fallout New Vegas as well
With Glen Morshower you completely left off the fact he voiced “Overlord” in the OG MW2 where he had TONS of voice lines. We all knew his voice then, so when he came back as shepherd in the new games it was a treat!
I hate the fact that whenever I watch The Boys I just think that they did Elliot dirty by giving him the role of Collin. Cut him out and the show loses nothing
One voice connection id like to point out is that keith Ferguson does some of voices for the US soldiers in World at War most notably the radio operator who calls in airstrikes for you he also voices most of the soldiers un destroy all humans and all the US soldiers in destroy all humans 2 you know who voiced a few of the soldiers in destroy all humans steve blum who voiced tank Dempsey in world at war and aswell fred tastasciore also was in destroy all humans and played most the police officers in the game he also voiced nikoli belenski in world at war zombies aswell he do thats 3 destroy all humans actors in the same game with 2 of them being zombies characters
Bruce Campbell in Exos was awesome and SMG in Call of the dead as well as Robert Englund were awesome because we got Freddy Krueger and Daphne (or Buffy) in one game but if I have to choose one favorite of mine it's Seth Green as Poindexter, I loved Idle Hands so hearing him play a nerd lol was awesome to me because when I think of a nerd voice I immediately think of Seth Green
I remember last week my TV was on, and a random british show was playing. And guess who I saw...freaking Barry Sloane. I mean I know he is a good/famous actor, but I was so suprised to see him. And My favorite thing about cod voice actors is Nolan North as Deadpool, he did the best job ever and you hear Richtofen so much in deadpool's voice.
Also Morshower voiced Overlord in mw2 and was more iconic then the fbi announcer.
i knew that he was overlord but didnt notice him in bo2
Glad someone else said this
And MW3 as well
guy's really cut out for the C.O. type voice, he's even in blackhawk down as the coordinator of the air assets
Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the exo zombies crew, but it was awesome that they got Bill Paxton, Jon Bernthal, Rose McGowan, John Malkovich, and Bruce Campbell all in one game

You forgot Keith David who voiced sergeant Foley in MW2 - iconically "Ramirez!.."
He also voiced Thel Vadam the arbiter in the Halo series and Spawn
Yeah I watched Hazbin Hotel for the first time and heard one characters voice and after that everytime I heard him talk all I heard was RAMIREZ
Also Admiral Anderson in Mass Effect.
And he’s the president in Rick and Morty
Reboot Shepherd first appeared in the OG MW2. He voiced Overlord during comms with the 75th Rangers.
Black Ops II was the last thing that Michael Keaton performed in before making his big comeback in Birdman.
My favorite is when Robin from Teen Titans Go tells you to beat off the zombies 😂
He also voiced Young Justice in one of the episodes
And even Misty actor as well
Lol
He was also in call of duty 2 big red one. Never knew Robin was in 2 call of duty games
He also voiced the warden in bo4 zombies blood of the dead.
And he's neros sacrifice
Yeah

Lance Henrikson's Shepard portrayal is my favorite villian. Also, he provided the voice for Admrial Hackett from the Mass Effect series. Dude has the best voice
His voice is extremely intimidating, perfect for a villain such as Shepherd. Sounds like a guy you really wouldn't wanna mess with.
Keith David a.k.a. captain Anderson, provides his voice to Sgt. Foley in MW2 as well.
