My grandfather had so much fun playing H3VR during Thanksgiving. He doesn't really care about video games, but he couldn't put the headset down for hours. He has major nerve damage and hasn't been able to go shooting for a long time. It really meant a lot to him. Thanks for all that you do, Anton. We don't deserve you.

Bullshoot’s final level needs to be a fight against a 3D hologram of Anton’s head in the sky mocking you for wasting your time in his stupid little mode. It also needs to unlock something truly stupid like a longflopper IPSICK or a new tippy toy for beating him.
This gamemode feels like one of the most natural for the medium, that shows most of what H3VR has to offer... for people like me, who can only tolerate about 20-40 minute VR sessions. For a lot of people, every second in VR before you get into the meat (ha) of the gameplay matters. The more loading screens, menus, and traversal, is all less time you get to play before you have to call it a day. I can totally see myself doing these quick little challenges and getting out again much more easily than take and hold.

Man it feels like every game mode in H3 could be its own stand alone $5 (at least) game. The massive collection of guns and mechanics makes even simple puzzles so enjoyable. Been keeping up since single digit devlogs and its still maybe the most impessive indie games, VR or otherwise, out there
Anton, even if we got nothing for meatmas this year, we’d still love you and H3VR. Shit happens, no one can honestly say you don’t do more than 99.9% of developers and as a genuine labor of love too. Hope you feel better Anton, and if that takes us getting nothing on the 25th than so be it

@Kcthetransgirl I just play from my couch tbh. Occasionally I'll stand up for certain things but with the joystick look snapping and the ability to grab things from a distance, you really only need a couple of feet to target shoot and mess with different things
Funny definitely-not-evil and sadistic idea: For "Realism is Overrated" you should--if possible--make it so that the mag starts in the weapon, that way certain players will get a handfull of bullets but then have to drop them to take out the magazine and THEN load them in. It's a small change but god would it be evil.
Break time needs a water feature of some kind. For aesthetic purposes. I also thing this would be a good time to introduce some hard targets for all of the tankbusters we have.
@ People were trolling the awards, that's why they went to dumb games like RDR2 getting the Labor of Love when it's the exact opposite. It's so stupid...
I got on the game for the first time in a few weeks and played bullshoot before even watching the devlog, I didn't even know it was a vanilla feature until I saw the ending message. This mode was the most fun I've had playing H3 in a long time. Its simple, but new and fresh and I love it. Some parts were a little frustrating but overall, fantastic minigame. Would love to see more :)
This is an awesome concept, and really cool execution of it. I appreciate the unique approaches to how challenging target shooting can be. Extremely impressive. On a related note, I would love to see the obstacle course style levels like at 14:30 get their own section in the level select. Maybe they could all be in one big warehouse/room/level for better accessibility, with more possible spawn points for the targets/anti-targets, the gun spawn station like the firing range has, a reset button and maybe custom time limits. It'd be awesome to do realistic gun run courses with the floating targets. Above all, I hope you get to make what you want.
I can highly recommend the books. The last three (after the series ended) are really great and gives a good conclusion to the character arcs! (But due to the changes between the books and the show, although relatively minor, makes the previous books a good idea to read first.) Oh, and there's also the collection of short stories after the main books, which features Philip Nagata in one of them (The Sins of our Fathers) if you want to know what happens with him.
We love you Anton, you do too much! I usually did the first week of advent calendar and end up opening the rest Meatmas morning, excited for the stocking stuffers and the new retro mode.
i played bullshoot before watching your demo and loved the idea! it was very enjoyable and rather intuitive to pick up on too. one thing id like to suggest: randomize which gun is used in some of the rooms! maybe have a "shuffled bag picker" mechanic to truly maximize variety of guns. just make sure there's enough ammo to clear
Health first, the modders have got this Meatmas Anton. Also it's going to be fun being able to engage more with the channel through posts and shorts, I left Twitter right before it became X.
it would be cool if you added like a "shooting through it, with Anton Hand" mode or something like that with development commentary playing over the game play or like here 15:44 where you exclaim every time they miss, and every time you fail you get sent all the way to the beginning. I think it would be funny.
This reminds me of the "dungeon" game mode from Waltz of the wizard. I hope you add the feature to be able to pick what level you wanna play in case you wanna show it to someone else or start at 7-1 without having to redo them all again. Would also be really fun if you let the players pick their own gun in levels theyve beat (itll break some maps but it could be really fun for that big obstacle course with tons of targets)

We need a Take and Hold node with a Hold/Wave scaling health that Spawns a blue/red target, a randomly placed blue circle, and finally a bullseye.. Then it has a Waldo hat appear, a number appear, or some other indicator for the blue circle. You shoot the correct target, and it damages it. Then the indicator changes randomly. Then you make a new take and hold character that only has that node. Buy popcorn and host a tournament, and cackle like a madman at the horror you unleashed onto the participants.

Just wanted to say ever since i played your game, i have not ever let a devlog slip by me. I love it when i see steam shows me an update on the game and i always get to hear the classic "Greetings and welcome to the devlog" makes me smile knowing that your passion for your game is outstanding. either or hope its still fun like always and i really cant wait for whats next.
This new gamemode is looking to be really good, looking forward to see it be fully done, however I have a question. Could the "endurance" level you have at 11:32 come out as its own thing too? It'd be a really good aim trainer. I love how satisfying the guns are to use in H3VR but my aim is complete goobage 😅. Thanks Anton! Keep up the good work and hope you recover soon! Some of the levels you see in this as singles will become their own 'chapters', and you'll be able to start from any chapter once you unlock them. I deffo want to do more of certain styles/themes.
Okay so like, this game mode is incredible, it’s challenging in its unique ways and makes you think and act fast. I love the various weapons and things to use and the NECESSITY to learn how to load and put rounds in chambers to win. I cannot freaking wait for more

4:22 Depends on context! One of my simple pleasures in life is returning back to base when playing Into The Radius and consolidating all my ammo. Pulling loose rounds and rounds found in mags and putting them into all the little boxes on the shelf.
You do have to admit tho dissolving into a pile a meat on the ground would be a very fiting way to go. In all seriousness, tho im glad you're better, and i have a feeling that getting a big drop on chrismas is going to be just as fun as getting our usual advent calendar keep doing what you do.and take it as slow as you need we love you and all you do

Finally got around to playing this! Most fun I’ve had in this game for ages, and I play this a LOT. I LOL’d at the Peeping Tom and I really enjoyed the more physical ones as well actually! As a fan of MEATS and the gunnasium I’m hoping you add more brain scratchers and locomotion stuff!
My favorate thing in H3VR was the Groch holliday qaulity control gamemode, it *really* made me want somthing exactly like it. Random weapons you test out, albeit without a timer or one bullet.
I'm excited for any upload from you Anton, long or short form! I hope you don't get leprosy from bending to the whims of the youtube algorithm though. Lots of people make the decision to try boosting analytics and get worn out when they realize just how much shit they need to upload.
Your dedication over these years amazes me. This game was my 1st VR purchase on a CV1, and the fact the level of dedication still on this title makes me feel guilty for only purchasing it once 😂
Heh, all we need now is a true wario-ware esque gamemode where there is music and all and brief breaks between minigame and it gets faster and faster till you have to go through h a long boss level. Might be quite hellish to try and reload during said microgames XD
I feel like people would really want a version you have to do everything perfectly. Like the Impossible Quiz...except more physically demanding. So, later in watching the video I now realise maybe that is a bad idea.
After months of saving for a PC in 2022, and then upgrading it enough and switching out ALL the furniture in my room I’m glad to say I will finally have space and money to get a Quest3 this Christmas and FINALLY download and play H3VR after watching Jacksepticeye play it so many years ago, having watched the development and updates through this channel and Jeditobiwans gameplay I am happy to say I will finally be able to join this amazing game in less than a month🎉🎉🎉
I have 2 suggestions: 1: The one that you have to fin, something that always works in PVP FPS, one of the spots should be directly above the player, a lot of people genuinely do not know how to look up and this might help them git gud at other games. 2: Meme room, it gives you the TF2 Rocket Launcher, Shotgun and Shovel, there are targets that you have to hit with rockets, targets that you have to hit with the shotgun, and targets that you have to hit with the shovel, you're now doing the TF2 tutorial but in VR.
Even with the setbacks, this will be a packed month. I've just been feeling like doing some VR, so this new mode sounds fun. I love that old internet game The Impossible Quiz, and this is just H3H3 version of that lol
It's true when you said that life gets in the way when you're making other plans. Having lost both of my parents in the span of 2 years and taking on the responsibilities of being a homeowner, I know what it's like when the unexpected happens. But all we can do is trudge through it to the best of our ability. I can accept difficulty, but I can't accept giving up.
cant wait for "clear this house" room or the "which h3 map was this picture taken on" room or the "CATCH" room where it just throws a live grenade at you and you have to throw it back
24:32 I think BULLSHOOT is more Getting Over ItxH3VR, but I would love to see a true WarioWare-style score survival with microgames, boss microgames, four lives, and running at 120 BPM (or maybe 140 BPM for fans of the GBA games)... Maybe even add a voice set of Anton cheering and jeering. Pass: "Wonderful!" "Beautiful" Fail: "Blap!" "Bzzzt!"

This has really big Flash game energy. The idea of doing those kinds of super simple point-and-click puzzles, but in VR with meticulously simulated objects is a super novel take on the concept.

(though I guess I haven’t been doing very well in that department anyway) Hopefully I get better before the Christmas concert my school’s choir is performing in in 3 weeks.
It is both better and not better. Pins and needles/electric shocks are gone, but the numbness has remained. Have more doctors appointments next month :-/
Anton this game mode is very fun and challenging. I kind of want a game mode where you can shoot off waves of enemies with random enemies and random weapons. That would be awesome man! And I know there is a gamemode much like that but a more simple game mode would be awesome and fast paced and very fun.
I Think a fun thing to do for some of the challenges is if you can make targets only count if shot with specific ammo. Like have a shotgun with multiple different shells and targets corresponding to each shell
Im glad I stopped watching the video a minute in to play bullshoot blind because it was great. The walldog brought back fond memories of sitting for hours in the library reading/playing where’s Waldo. The rest of the rooms were also great except maybe the pure suffering of the quackenbush pipe one. This might be wrong but the moving blue circle thing that didn’t work sometimes might have been because the shot would hit either as the target was loading in or out causing the issue.

As i don't have vr, it's really good to see so many different weapons i barely find on videos like the tank gewehr and m16a1.

Finally got around to playing this! Most fun I’ve had in this game for ages, and I play this a LOT. I LOL’d at the Peeping Tom and I really enjoyed the more physical ones as well actually! As a fan of MEATS and the gunnasium I’m hoping you add more brain scratchers and locomotion stuff!
As a gun nerd but also a regular flavor nerd: I nearly threw my phone down in disgust at "ceci une pipe". (This is a compliment.)

My favorate thing in H3VR was the Groch holliday qaulity control gamemode,
it *really* made me want somthing exactly like it. Random weapons you test out, albeit without a timer or one bullet.

Heh, all we need now is a true wario-ware esque gamemode where there is music and all and brief breaks between minigame and it gets faster and faster till you have to go through h a long boss level. Might be quite hellish to try and reload during said microgames XD
I feel like people would really want a version you have to do everything perfectly. Like the Impossible Quiz...except more physically demanding.

After months of saving for a PC in 2022, and then upgrading it enough and switching out ALL the furniture in my room I’m glad to say I will finally have space and money to get a Quest3 this Christmas and FINALLY download and play H3VR after watching Jacksepticeye play it so many years ago, having watched the development and updates through this channel and Jeditobiwans gameplay I am happy to say I will finally be able to join this amazing game in less than a month🎉🎉🎉

I have 2 suggestions:
1: The one that you have to fin, something that always works in PVP FPS, one of the spots should be directly above the player, a lot of people genuinely do not know how to look up and this might help them git gud at other games.
2: Meme room, it gives you the TF2 Rocket Launcher, Shotgun and Shovel, there are targets that you have to hit with rockets, targets that you have to hit with the shotgun, and targets that you have to hit with the shovel, you're now doing the TF2 tutorial but in VR.

It's true when you said that life gets in the way when you're making other plans. Having lost both of my parents in the span of 2 years and taking on the responsibilities of being a homeowner, I know what it's like when the unexpected happens. But all we can do is trudge through it to the best of our ability. I can accept difficulty, but I can't accept giving up.

I think BULLSHOOT is more Getting Over ItxH3VR, but I would love to see a true WarioWare-style score survival with microgames, boss microgames, four lives, and running at 120 BPM (or maybe 140 BPM for fans of the GBA games)... Maybe even add a voice set of Anton cheering and jeering.

This has really big Flash game energy. The idea of doing those kinds of super simple point-and-click puzzles, but in VR with meticulously simulated objects is a super novel take on the concept.

I like the idea of game modes like these as H3VR is so strictly a simulator than anything else, that the 'PvP' modes feel inferior to these fun maps that are centered around target shooting n such

I’m also a little sick right now and am having trouble thinking of witty ways to request the Type 11 lmg. (though I guess I haven’t been doing very well in that department anyway) Hopefully I get better before the Christmas concert my school’s choir is performing in in 3 weeks.
It is both better and not better. Pins and needles/electric shocks are gone, but the numbness has remained. Have more doctors appointments next month :-/

This was made real interesting my first time through when i got a double feed halfway through the endurance one
Anton this game mode is very fun and challenging. I kind of want a game mode where you can shoot off waves of enemies with random enemies and random weapons. That would be awesome man! And I know there is a gamemode much like that but a more simple game mode would be awesome and fast paced and very fun.
I Think a fun thing to do for some of the challenges is if you can make targets only count if shot with specific ammo. Like have a shotgun with multiple different shells and targets corresponding to each shell
Im glad I stopped watching the video a minute in to play bullshoot blind because it was great. The walldog brought back fond memories of sitting for hours in the library reading/playing where’s Waldo. The rest of the rooms were also great except maybe the pure suffering of the quackenbush pipe one. This might be wrong but the moving blue circle thing that didn’t work sometimes might have been because the shot would hit either as the target was loading in or out causing the issue.
Anton making game modes to make us suffer. I LOVE IT!
