Now I look back, Trivium had some really unique and recognizable riffs and melodies. No other band seems to use some of the progressions I hear in trivium.
@@hugodogobob The Shogun album it's a really good metal gem. Also Ascendancy, The sin and the sentence, and their last album What the dead men Say are really really good
@@Feercholain unfortunately I didn't enjoy the actual song, I just don't like his voice. It's not that anything is bad about the song it just doesn't resonate with me, I was quite excited that I was missing out on something too haha
Glad to see you rocking some low B again. I was getting a bit worried there... I would have chosen Joe Satriani's "hands in the air" for one of the seven riffs. Such a groovy tune
Dream Theater and Periphery probably have my favourite 7 string riffs. Other good DT ones are Lie, The Dance of Eternity, The Glass Prison and Paralyzed. And for periphery pretty well all of their songs have a great 7 string riffs, but my favs are ones like Flatline
I have a multiscale myself too, an Ibanez RGD61ALMS CLL. I was wondering if you drop-tune your guitar often. I usually drop mine to B and I use D'addario NYXL strings 10-52. However I have been to a guitar shop and they told me I can't keep dropping it into different tunings and I have to set my guitar up just for a single tuning. I am a bit confused now because I thought the whole concept of a multiscale was for you to be able to downtune it.. Do you have any advice or so?
The slow chordal heavy part, or the fast open B part that’s played underneath the legato intro part of the guitar solo? I love the slow part, nice and heavy!
Torn between Scylla and Charybdis man, really stands out to me on an already great album. Everyone says triviums 2nd album is the best but i dont think they even got started until Shogun. Sin and the sentence is the best
I assume we can summarily expect videos featuring the eight best 8-string riffs, and the nine best 9-string riffs, with the Doom 2016 video game soundtrack representing one of those iconic 9-string riffs.
Me: "This better have Dark Eternal Night or I'm calling the police"
>It's the first one
Wise choice.
Fuck it's a good riff.
easy there Davie :p
This. Thank you.
I didn't mind your naked skits, but you WENT TOO FAR with exposing your chin like this, Bradley Hall
@@BradleyHallGuitar Exposed!
Needs more eyebrow raising.
It’s like exposing the head but not the shaft
Glad to see some Trivium here! The whole Shogun album is just a seven string riff orgy
I was gonna be pissed if there wasn't
Abso-freakin-lutely 💪🤘
Insurrection is arguably the heaviest song in that glorious album and it’s played on a 6
I think Trivium gets too much hate than they deserve. One of my favorite bands for sure! Glad Bradley picked that great riff!
Bro I just wrote basically the exact same comment 😂😂😂 Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!
The return of the glorious B string 🤯
I'm sorry Brad but WTF did you do to that beard. I'm reporting this. It's a violation 😂😂😂
I know right, I spam commented to show my disgust, disappointment and anger
It’s wolverine
@@noamdrumcovers7731 reminds me of Mr. Hyde in LoEG - in any case, those are definitely pushing the bounds of propriety, so... WIN.
stfu, bradley is my child
@@BradleyHallGuitar I may be a couple years late, but the facial hair makes you look like a skinny version of Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.
I don't know Wolverine could play 7 strings
I can genuinely say that a huge smile was brought to my face when River Dragon was played. Thank you!!
Nice pfp my guy
Now I look back, Trivium had some really unique and recognizable riffs and melodies. No other band seems to use some of the progressions I hear in trivium.
My man really went from looking like Jesus to a dwarf from the hobbit, or lord of the rings.
That Trivium riff is hella underrated
Most of Triviums riffs are underrated
Great riff, fantastic band!
Yeah I don't like any of trivium that I have already heard but that riff has interested me
@@hugodogobob The Shogun album it's a really good metal gem. Also Ascendancy, The sin and the sentence, and their last album What the dead men Say are really really good

The transition between The Dark Eternal Night and Freak on a Leash riffs was so satisfying.
I thought DT would be represented with "The mirror", but sick anyway!
i love this channel lol been tuning in to the streams lately
you added one of my favorite 7 string riffs of all time, that Torn Between riff from Trivium! they write the best effing riffs, I swear!
I think Warrel Dane and Nevermore are so underrated.
💯
Of course they are... I mean warrel during the sanctuary era was ASS-KICKING
They are not, they only are too heavy for most of the people
Having broderick as a rhythm guitarist is proof alone that nevermore were overpowered 🔥
Why is long hair wolverine taking over the channel?
you mean Lemmy
Cool to see Torn Between here, probably among my top 5 favorite Trivium songs
think you were at 50k when I started watching you. good job bro. I really dig your content and taste in bands/riffs
I like the fact that billie eilish is just sittin there.
Morbid Angel has some of the sickest 7 string riffs in metal.
Most of my favorite seven string riffs are from Periphery. Just to name a few:
Make Total Destroy
Icarus Lives (that intro is iconic)
It's Only Smiles
Bro, that riff from Nevermore was the one I was expecting! it's so blatantly heavy!
That's probably my favorite song from them!
Happy to see "Torn between Scylla and Charybdis" by Trivium here! Their album shogun is a 7 string riff fest!
Awesome man.... love watching your videos...
@@BradleyHallGuitar
Your reply made my day..❤❤
Thank you so much..Love your style..
I just bought a 7 string, thanks for giving me stuff to learn on it.
Bro them chops are magnificent
I pretty much bought a 7 string to play just The dark eternal night and Trivium songs
HAHAH love the eye brow synchronization! What effect pedal were you using for that mate? Subscribed!
I like your new look, its wild!🤘🏽
Nevermore I would have gone for My Acid Words or This Godless Endeavor. And man, Revocation's Madness Opus.
Great job!, Idon't know many 7 strings guitar songs like this movie!!!
I was SO pleased to see Periphery "Blood Eagle" on there. That riff is so bad ass! I believe that was a Mark Holcomb riff.
Best intro ever. Funny as hell man, needed the laugh!
Amazing video as always. You should look also to Nocturnal Bloodlust for heavy 7 strings riffs
I really like "where the slime" but I wish they'd release a studio version
Here,take my like
There is. Search "Morbid Angel Domination full album" and it will be in that playlist
there are also a lot of great things on 7 strings with All Shall Perish, from riffs to solos, they were beasts at their times
Glad to see you rocking some low B again. I was getting a bit worried there... I would have chosen Joe Satriani's "hands in the air" for one of the seven riffs. Such a groovy tune
cheers for introducing me to periphery, just listened to the whole thing in its entirety. my jaw now hurts.
Bradley i love your content
River Dragon!! This video could've been a compilation of Nevermore riffs haha :D
Awesome riffs.
The Dark Eternal Night & Torn Between Scylla are just too good. More videos with them???
That's an unexpected turn for bradley fascial look. As we all know he is very unexpected contact creator
Finally, some appreciation for Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis! It is the greatest Trivium song!
Ok, this look is amazing
Thanks Bradley for including Meshuggah! 😭😭
NICE TASTE. Diggin the Nevermore love
Sick tone
2:06 Well, now you, Bradley, are completely awesome
Thank you for putting Blood Eagle, especially that nasty ass riff after the solo
Dude I didn’t know Torn Between Scylla And Charybdis was played on a seven string! Awesome song

This is indeed, dreamy
YES!!!!! Finally some Trivium
Thanks for playing Morbid Angel man.
I haven't watched your videos a lot, but do you have their logo tattooed on you?
I think I love you Bradley
we need more Beardly Hall!
The Robotech (solo) riff from "Where the Slime Live" also pretty good ;)
7 dream theater songs would do :) i would really thoughts you would bring the mirror to the table :)
lovely looking guitar
Hmm, some riffs from songs others haven't mentioned:
Dream Theater - Outcry
Dream Theater - Build Me Up, Break Me Down
Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid Rain
Disperse - Aum
Dave Weiner - The Mojo Rhyme
I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Where The Slime Live"!
last time I was this early 8 strings were still cool
your beard looks like lemmy kilmister from motorhead lmao
1:06 is the most accurate thing I've seen in my entire life lol
No Fear Factory Riffs??? Well... But it was brutal too so I love it
The sideburns though!!
My boy Bradley using Reaper to record.
#proud
0:01 I gurned 😩
I like it when the morbid angel comes on and I notice my head is a-bopped.
This could have very easily been a top 7 7 string nevermore riffs

More Peripheryyyy!!!
Love the meshuggah 'brows! hahaha
That beard Got Me The Second I Saw It🤣
you missed DT "Lie" the riff and the break before the solo . omfg or glass prisson
I get it but Dark Eternal Night is still the dirtiest
@@renato360a u right . but Lie is just pure 7 strings fun
The slow chordal heavy part, or the fast open B part that’s played underneath the legato intro part of the guitar solo? I love the slow part, nice and heavy!
glad to see KORN make the list
knew The Dark Eternal Night would make it! (Systematic Chaos is the best DT album and i will joust with anyone who disagrees)
That sideburn looks majestic.
The return of the metal king.
God these riffs are nasty. Great choices, mate!
Nevermore - The Termination Proclamation
The last riff was a challenge 💯
The gurn for freak on a leash still has me laughing 😂
Have the same Guitar and a Kemper Stage. Would u plz let me know what profile you are using?
Nevermore Enemies of Reality
Morbid Angel God of Emptiness
Feared Huldra
Aeon riffs from Aeons Black album needs love too
triviums torn between is on a whole different level to the other songs :P
Bradley, you should get the James Hetfield mutton-chops and stache
Emperor's Prometheus has some of the sickest 7-string riffs I have ever heard.
When are we getting the 8 & 9 string versions of this?
The chops nice
Find yourself a partner who wiggles their eyebrows at your seventh string the way Bradley wiggles his eyebrows at Meshuggah.

Too funny, Brad! Cheers! \|/
Now you are a true english with that beard
For Nevermore I would have picked Ambivalent or this godless endeavor (riff before sweeps)
Glad to see Trivium. They don't get enough love
