In 2018, I ordered a new Bigfoot truck camper to my specifications, and after 6 years of use, I still wouldn't want anything else. Not only is the two-piece molded fiberglass design much more durable and trouble-free than the thin aluminum tubing/laminated designs of most others, but the attention to detail and quality of materials is what really stands out. And no problematic rubber roof that will need constant maintenance and repairs! Things like the neat and tidy wire runs inside the cabinets, plumbing holes drilled exactly where the plumbing was intended to be, the solid thud you here when shutting cabinet doors, and the tight fit of trim that still has not come off as in some other RVs at this age. The Bigfoots don't have all the fluffy glitter and cool techy lights that many of the American brands have, but these will outlast them by a factor of 2 or 3. One of the reasons the prices are so high.
Well said and I couldn't agree more! I stopped by the big RV show in Hershey PA about a month ago, on my way to the Bigfoot dealer in Apex, North Carolina. The prices on some of these rigs with all the fancy gadgets, and high gloss finishes etc., was just nuts. I stepped into 1 travel trailer, only because the actual designer of the trailer asked me in. He lifted up the Queen bed to show me the storage under the bed, the bed was sitting on a piece of 3/8 plywood with 3 hinges, and he used 2 inch drywall screws on the hinges, meaning 1 1/2 of the screw was totally exposed, waiting for its first victim like a rattle snake. I can honestly say, there wasn't a single trailer at the show that I would have bought, the broken pieces, loose joints, misaligned doors, and on and on. Went to the Bigfoot dealer the next day, they had 2 rigs outside, and they were absolutely flawless, inside & out. I'm filling out my order for a 25 foot twin right now, and can't wait to get my hands on the new girl LOL! Happy travels Freetoroam!!!
@frogzilla9186 Congratulations on becoming a Bigfoot member! Although I have one of their tuck camper models, I do think their trailers are the best looking of all trailer brands. The chasis height and body proportions before and aft of the wheels is near perfect asthetically. And if you chose the synthetic leather option, rest assured it's the good stuff. Not the crap you hear about with the other brands, where you have to repair the furniture after a couple of years due to pealing issues. My leather still looks new after six years! And no screws poking out where they shouldn't be. Plus, the Bigfoots won't be all dented up like an Airstream after 10 years, or need a roof replacement, which helps resale value. Enjoy your new Bigfoot!
I like this line better than the Oliver for us. A bit bigger and more storage with the tongue box for longer trips. Curious how much solar or solar prep is offered.
You had me with the thumbnail! LOL..... Edit. Some quality stuff in this build. Suspension, rear bumper, slam latches. Even a brass tailpiece on the bathroom sink. Impressive!
Great video - made better by a quality RV. I like the fact they stick with a propane fridge - this would tip the scales for us - no 12v unit that eats up our batteries!.
We are looking at the twin bed model with the same recliners as the one your showing . We also will go with 12 volt fridge and tankless water heater . We love the build of these units . The model you are showing the front storage is an option as well as the recliners . We hear they hold their value really well .
Bigfoot has been at the Tampa Supershow in the past at least once. Now that there are dealers in GA, maybe they will be at 2025's supershow. My favorite travel trailer, the 25b25RQ twin.
Nice review! I looked at one of these about 8 years ago when we were shopping for a tt. . I was familiar with the brand from our slide-in truck camper days. They were top drawer. At that time they did not have the nose enclosure but everything else was basically the same. They are built very well & the price reflects it. As you stated they are an upgraded Indiana type RV. I was looking for something with a slide though, which ruled this and the Airstream out. They are very nice units.
Just subscribed. Appreciate this walk thru. We live full time in a WB FLX unit and are...at this moment...working a deal out on this model...with the front Dinette. Really excited to make the switch.
Hope you post some thoughts on your new rig and congratulations! I would order front dinnette as well and twin beds for a bit more versatile setup. Awesome!
Great units, always wanted one but they were always just a little too expensive for me. Last for years, lots of used ones around my part of the world (BC, where they are built)
Please view your weights/measurements/other specs on UA-cam. You’ll notice a decent amount of it is cut off. It would be nice if you could raise it up and move it slightly to the center. Enjoyed the video. Thanks!
Good walk-thru. A couple of things, The interior headroom is 6'4", not 6'6". Your weights and measurement page you showed in the beginning of your video showed this. The bed is not a true queen. It's only 74" long. A residential queen is 80" long, so for us taller people that bed might need to be replaced. You missed that there is a large storage area underneath the bed, which is on hydraulic lifts for easy access. These are very well built trailers. True 4 season. They make another floor plan with a table and bench seating for 4 instead of the 2 theatre seating in this one. Much more room.
That’s a very nice little unit. A lot of very thoughtful quality touches in it. Really like how they laid it out for a no slide couples unit. Like that axel capacity equals GVWR. I do find it very odd that they have a switch panel for a generator when none is installed and a space to put one wasn’t immediately apparent. The rear storage wasn’t obviously prepped to hold one for example. At this price point I’d like to see better drawer construction and stuff like soft close drawer slides. I’d also like to see an upgraded equalizer standard. I’d also like to see 50A service even with only the one AC as with everything on it’s easy to overload a 30A circuit.
That thing looks like it is an RV from the 70s or 80s. That black tank looks like it will leave 1 inch of waste after draining given the location of the dump connection. IDK about this one.

If or when I decide to buy a travel trailer, this would be without a doubt the one for me.
You had me with the thumbnail! LOL..... Edit. Some quality stuff in this build. Suspension, rear bumper, slam latches. Even a brass tailpiece on the bathroom sink. Impressive!
Believe!! Haha
Very nice! Love a rear bedroom with huge windows. I also like the front recliners.

I’d think they would hold their value better than most travel trailers for sure.
Please let us know if you have any questions! Happy to put in an order for you to get both the theater seats and twin beds!

Thanks , trying to sell our 5thwheel before we can do anything else.
Thank you for doing a walkthrough on this unit! This is the exact unit that I want!
I enjoyed it!

@@WanderingWeekends thank you. Really appreciate your timely video

They are pretty nice trailers they are built about 5 hours from me thanks Cory
That is a really good quality trailer. Might well be my next one actually... Will last forever I think.

Spare tire covers up the tail light.

Oh no! Lemme go look!
I just checked and it looked fine. Maybe you’re zoomed in a bit?
Canada in da house!!! 🇨🇦
Representing well!
Love all the windows can you get a jacknife couch for extra room
Nice, I got to go in one a few years back. Very well constructed. And yes, a little bit pricey.
We own an Oliver and I think the build quality of Oliver is better.
My favorite builder. I was ready to buy one, but you cant get them. Had to go with my #2, Northwoods Arctic Fox
If you are ever in the market let us know! Southland RV carries them in our Atlanta and Savannah, GA locations
Wow. Very nice

I appreciate you pointing out those omissions - I'm still learning all the ins and outs of these trailers! It seems like a very well-built unit.
I thought you did a very good job. The reason I know a little bit about this trailer is because friends of ours own one. Cheers !
You aren’t to far from me. Relocated 30 miles to the west of Atlanta because the Navy told me too 😂
Thank you for
Your service!
I'm literally trying to get rid of my Ember, and get into a 25RQ ASAP. By the end of the year for sure!
Let us know if you have any questions! Happy to help you get your dream camper :)
@@SouthlandrvatlantaThank you for the reply! I may come see you guys next month. I'm planning a purchase, used or new.
Great floor plan and storage BUT aesthetically feels very dated.
That price!! We were looking at these about 4 years ago. They were in the low 50's MSRP then.
If it was just you and youre wife which one bigfoot or oliver??
I think Oliver takes it on overall build quality.

I live in Canada and it can get to minus 40 to 50, would this thing make it? If not would it be possible to piut a small wood stove

Everyone claims RVs were built better back then! 🤣🤷🏻♂️
Its a nice little camper....but what is up with the carpet on the ceiling? Is that carpet? What is that LOL Gives a very 70's vibe whatever it is.
It have enough room! Other than that it's beautiful!
Get rid of that cheap skylight and get the one from Maximum Skylight, a hell of a better skylight 👍👍👍
It dont have enough seating, but other than that oh, it nice!
100k unit and no self closing drawers also say Oliver is a better choice.
Very nice trailer, but for 80K I would be looking at a 4th whl for either the same price or less under 30 ft.
For that high price they should put a 12v fridge in it cause it’s better all the way around.
How much is this ?
Nice but a little small for me
The interior is hella ugly as sin but somewhat more practical than the other fiberglass options out there because of the fridge size and dry bathroom.
Aesthetically, they can keep it….
Ceiling is too low for us tall boys.
You pay, as much for that like you would a house, not, worth it!
not impressed with interrior qualiety or looks,,,ugly to be honest
