This looks pre today's patch to me 🤔
Good point. The winner will never be switch but how well is the port. Unbelivable that it is on switch and looks that good.
No excuses for pokemon or Arkham City.
If by good you mean pixelated and blurry. Sure. Lets hand out participation awards though I suppose.
@@0xBULLgogi it's a handheld hybrid console with an anemic chipset from 10 years ago. In context, yes, this is a good port : )
The standard for Switch ports should not be "good" or "bad", there is an option called "good enough", and this game looks "good enough" when considering the tiny screen and the portability. The only thing keeping me from buying it yet again for my switch is I'm not sure it has cross-save functions and I'm already too far in my pc version to start over lol.
@@0xBULLgogiyou people are so dense
yOU PeOPle ArE So DEnsE. Nah, I understand the switch is underpowered garbo at this point in time. IT'S A TECHNOLOGICAL MARVEL TO GET A GAME LIKE THIS RUNNING ON THE SWITCH, FANTASTIC WORK DEVS.
Yall need kneepads?@@Jaekization
@@0xBULLgogi no kneepads but unnecessary uncomfortable comments with no added value neither.
Why so serious? Let the switchuser their fun. Probably not your problem because you dont have a switch and your comments wont change anything.
Is this pre or post patch?
looking at the faces, I would say pre.
Amazing port
Switch top limits reached?
@@qwertyqwerty2129a long time ago
I wouldn't play it in doced mode but in handheld it looks great :)
Der Port auf die Switch ist echt beeindruckend. Da kann sich The Witcher 3 und Hogwarts Legacy ein Beispiel nehmen
Is this Baldur's gate at home?
😂😂😂
its nothing like baldurs gate
Hardly, this is not fantasy game
How old are you? What's your occupation and level of education?
I admire the amount of effort put into this port. It really shows Sabre is super well familiar with the Nintendo Switch platform. This game is very CPU heavy, most people dont know it, but simulation of all NPC characters happens throughout the world all the time. Its not like Skyrim, where when you leave a village, NPC just dissapear, in this game, they are all living and doing things. It affects things like fast travel for example or how quests are laid out. So this game is really, really hard to bring to the Switch. However, even with all this hard work, I dont think 26 fps is playable experience. It just isnt. I loved the Switch, when I bought it in 2017, but I dont think that in 2024 a game should be considered as sellable, if it runs at 26 FPS. Thats just plain immoral in my opinion.
Whys is it so washed out looking on Switch, they need to adjust the colour Saturation and contrast especially being it'll be played on OLED Switch.
Not everyone has changed to oled. Original one is good enough imo
@Maynards_so_blue I beg to differ, I sold my Original and paid the Extra for the OLED and its amazing how some Saturation and better contrast can make games look much better. Still, a Saturation slider in the settings of this game would be a great addition.
Well, my Switch is V1, but I cannot play on it how it comes... The colors are awful! But with Fizeau filter it looks like a Oled Screen
KDC runs so well on Steam Deck. Easily got it to run 900p@30fps docked and it looks impressive. Handheld same settings 800p@40fps.
It is one of the most impressive games on the Deck.
So why was this Switch port released. RPG players typically are hardcore PC gamers. They like I would already have a Deck. It just doesn't have the appeal it did before the PC handle invasion happened.
I don't like how with steam you need to keep an active account to play games. You don't own a copy of the game unlike with consoles. A physical version is always the best option for me
Because Switch is a completely different market versus Deck, which is basically a PC? In fact the Deck is a far more niche platform than the Switch, it's not even a contest.
@@JackFrost-1856 its not. The Deck is way better.
I dont think its fair to compared a 7 years old console to the 2 years old one
@@dogsbark5750 obviously as it's a pc but you don't own the games it's like renting the games with steam. It's a bit like Google stadia
I commend you on using the Xbox One version.
Using the PS4 version would have seen your comments section spammed by Donald Trump supporters.....I mean, Sony Fanboys.
What the hell has trump got to do with playstation? Get a grip
He lives SO rent free in people's heads 😂 you probably blame stale cereal on him. Sad.
