Same. It is almost unbelievable how long its been. When I heard the voice I got those insane flashbacks to the game. Now I can't wait for the second part.

I loved the feeling of actually BUILDING a character in KCD. Taking Henry from a nobody to a competent and respected knight was something that no other game really did. You had to properly train, or get crushed by the world. I really, really hope that's something we can do in KCDII in some way. Pumped or it either way!
You are so right! it was a good feeling to get pounded by Bernard for countless hours only to be able to beat his ass after that training grind. There was an actual learning curve to be achived rather than a 30 seconds cinematic, like other games do for showing charakter evolvement. First 2 hours you run away from every fight after 40 hours you crush them all. Loved that

I'm literally in tears! KCD1 is still my favourite PC game of all time, no contest. It had its flaws and bugs, but a soul unlike any other game. And as a classical violinist, I can't help but be struck by the sheer genius of Jan Valta's music, both in composition and performance. Can't wait.

A little story, some years ago I played a little known game called the witcher 3, after just a couple hours of game time I gave up on it and it took something like 9 months of me seeing it in my library to play it again, at which point I realised it was one of the best games I've ever played. The same thing happened with KCD, I played it for 6 or so hours and abandoned for well over a year, in which time I fell in love the medieval fighter genre. I played Chivalry 2, I played Mordhau which I got over 1000 hours in and after all that I turned my eyes back to KCD and I can honestly say it has no competition as far as medieval games go, though game doesn't do it justice it's an experience in art. The journey from a village simpleton that barely knows how to hold a sword and struggles to fight off a dog to a grizzled knight that can fight with the best of them is like nothing I have ever experienced and it takes my spot for #1 RPG out there any day of the week. I am extremely excited for KCD 2 and I can't wait to see what twists and turns will happen in the story. More excited for this than any other game in the last 5 years at least, I do hope Brian Blessed will return the man's great.
Immersion in the 1st game was so good... I was hooked! Totally hyped for this one :)

They said "One map" at 9:38 meaning there's multiple maps.
And seeing how Pauge is mentioned a lot in the first game It probably *is* in the game.
If not a fully fledge map, maybe just a one-time thing for story purposes like RDR2's Guarma.

I almost crapped my pants when this popped up. I was so sure it must be a fake at first, but when I relised that it was real, I actually screamed out loud a little. My body is so ready for this.
They didn't have to be so extra with the reveal (even as far as filming it in Kuttenberg) but THEY DID. I'm hyped!
They just seem passionate about their own game.

Found your game on steam about 2 years ago. I was blown away by the quality and the atmosphere. Now seing Kcd 2 i cant wait to play it.

I have never been more excited for a game in my life... I've loved RPG's ever since the first time I played Skyrim in 2012, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance created the experience I had been dreaming of since my first ever RPG. No other game has ever quite delivered the amount of immersion, realism, and personality as KC:D. I could not be more excited about a sequel.
I don't remember how many years ago I was waiting for a game as much as KC2!
So excited for this! One thing I really hope they do is develop a real blacksmithing system! In the first game, all you could really do is sharpen your weapons on a grindstone, and use repair kits in a menu to repair your armor. I want to be able to go and hunt for leather, mine for metal, and collect any and all recourses required to really build my own set of armor with animations and everything at a forge. THAT would be awesome!

One of my favorite games of all time, certainly one of my favorite RPGs. Really wish there is a save transfer feature so choices in the first game transfer to the second.
Can someone explain to me why this game has so little hype in the gaming community? Look how little views and likes....this game is a phenemon and incredible in art, graphics, music and story...on top of that to a great degree also historically accurate, what a powerhouse of a true modern game experience. The devs did an incredible job on the first title...this will be mindblown! Cant f_cking wait! This whole reveal trailer/video was so well done...grats to all people involved!

HENRY'S COME TO SEE US! AGAIN!
KD1 showed me a different level of gaming and story telling that barely any other game, book, or movie has ever done. We grew with Henry from a layabout with dreams of adventure, to a knight. Here I thought no other game could ever replicate that feeling I had of learning to fight with its unique combat, or learning to read, or the battles that we were immersed in. Until now. I can't wait to see what Henry's story has still instore. And can we talk about how far Hans and Henry have come?

This looks amazing! Really loved the first game but it did have many quirks and issues. But to hear you guys have learned a lot, and have way more people on the team, makes me even more excited for this one. Can still definitely recommend playing the first one while waiting for 2 for those who haven't played it yet!
I really like the aging on Henry. He looks just that bit more weathered than the young Skalitz boy
I purchased KCD when it first came out, and spent hundreds of awesome hours living as Henry in the best RPG/ medieval simulator, some of the time was just living, hunting rabbits and killing bandits. Or just helping my friend Hans out. I'll admit putting a mod in for the bow sight haha.. And then all the DLC's, I loved them all. I still have KCD installed on my PC, KCD literally transferred to my new pc, I will replay KCD and all the content again before the release of KCD2. Then I'll buy KCD2 earliest date possible and I'll spend hundreds of amazing hours entertained and living in this period then if any DLC's come- I'll pre-order them too.. Thank you WarHorse, amazing news, and I'm so happy to see this second game come out, so much content and genuine love for the characters places and the most in depth world of any RPG. See you soon old friends good luck and thank you- please don't ever stop creating preferably in the KCD world.

very nice , finally. i had 700 hrs in kcd 1....I hope this game will be a canon in few years, get kdc 3 4 5 with aging Henry and with his companion and kcd 6 can start with another storyline where once at some point we meet with young henry perhaps.... i know im just dreaming

I was depressed after completing KCD1 since I didn't think Warhorse studios was going to continue the series. I thought it was a one and done love project. I've never been happier to see a game get a second game in it's series. Insta-buy on release.

I appreciate the sincerity in a game reveal like this one and it truly shows how they want to improve on to the first game. We just hope it doesn't fall on expectations as they've set the bar on making the player experience things in KCD 2 than cannot be experienced anywhere else.

Oh man, I bought the first Kingdom Come on special while I was "between games". What a gem! The struggle was real in the beginning, learning to fight was so hard. Until it "clicked", I spent a lot of time running away 🤣 It was a wonderful immersive world and I can't wait for II !
Duuuuuude, this just shot to the top of my most anticipated game of 2024! Looks impressive! Here's hoping it comes without the technical hiccups of KCD1 (which have almost all been fixed as of my current playthrough).
So I wonder if this means henry doesn't have the initial "learning phase" in the beginning part of the game? Gonna that phase, even as brutal of a grind as it was, it was still a lot of fun.

As much as I love KCD, and I mean love it, I hope in KCD2 that bandits are also on horseback. I found KCD a bit unrealistic that you never encounter enemies on horses. It was unrealistic and made it easier to escape them.

Same brother, I've been wondering for years and they've been so tight lipped. Heard some rumors here and there in certain circles but never anything concrete. Incredibly excited it's a reality and I can look forward to this, in 2024! Praying it's a summer release and not some Christmas shenanigans

I think in the end of the video or their website or something, but thats what I remember from the release info. so I'm afraid it's going to be a before christmas release. But yeah they did a good job hiding it all. We got a new reason to survive 2024 now!

I am pumped. Your team is a breath of fresh air compared to the microtransaction loving developers of main stream games. You can feel the passion emanating from your team in this video, you can tell they care and are excited as us fans are. Everything about the first game's look, feel, sound, immersion, combat and gameplay all look enhanced. BRAVO!

I played all my way through the first game and all the DLCs. I was also visiting some of the places in the real world, for example Rataj, where I was in a real pub / Biergarten right at the place of the in-game tavern, which was sooo great :)
I hope the second part stays as close to real world places as the first part. I would definitely travel to Kuttenberg then as well!

I am rly hyped for this game i loved the first one and from the trailer alone i can tell it has improved a lot. Also the main complain i had with the first game that was battles altho good was still kinda lacking seems to be resolved with this secound game which is amazing

Have you cept the combat the way it was before? (I loved it and I hope it stays similar. But many others had problems with it, as it is not your normal combat system)
Will we revisit the old places and characters?(except for the obvious ones seen in the trailer, have to rewatch to see what I can find in it :))
Did the RPG elements stay the same? (this learning by dooing system coupled with a perk system)
Will there be more flashed out horse combat? (lances and stuff)
Will the use of twohanded weapons, especcially polearms be more viable/implemented and supported by the skill system?
Is the story arc linear or more open? (nothing against a good linear story, I am just interrested)
