It's not necessary but it helps in some degrees. Any fast "gaming" keyboard should be fine but there is nothing wrong with having the best of the best equipment if you can afford it and enjoy using it.

@@ogle_tr bro there's plenty of people who literally went pro with basic periferals, Tenz is just out of touch with reality nowadays and always overvalues dumb details.
guy literally played a tournament with a mouse he didn't feel comfortable with just because it had a bit more polling rate than other already top tier mice.
Lots of pros dont use it and they are doing just fine.
I've tried many different keyboards like ducky's and so on, but my wooting has easily been the best I've used. u don't think it can be that much different till u actually use it
60% of all pros use only the wooting, which is crazy, shows how good it is

i mean basically every top pro is using a wooting or a keyboard with similar tech like apex pro or razer huntsman v3
i mean the only pros who dont use wooting or tech related keyboard is david, miniboo, wo0t, cyro, asuna, bang, eiuu off the top of my head
but like everyother top pro else uses wooting or tech related keyboard like aspas, derke, chronicle, f0rsaken, jinggg, something, mindfreak, demon1 in his champs days, yay, riens, metoeor, t3xture etc etc etc
there's a lot of other hall effect keyboard option in the market. and there's little to non difference against wooting or some are even better. people like wooting because of its customer service and how customizable the product is. The company is doing a good job by not producing a keyboard that's a scam.

it really does you cannot fathom how much advantage movement gives in valorant , in normal keyboard when you leave the a or d key there is a delay till you can shoot , but in wooting its instant

yes, because regardless if you counterstrafe or simply let go of the key, you gain full movement accuracy after 8 frames in valorant, simply because the movement in the engine is made that way, the only real benefit you get is Rapid trigger (The reset distance). Snap Tap/Rappy Snappy have no effect in Val, unlike CS where the source engine makes if to an opposing movement input slows you down faster (Counterstrafing)

@@Shinobi-k8tcsgos movement works different from vals and there is a momentum the socd is not giving u an advantage in val as it did in cs. In cs it was the program doing the work for u but it doesnt happen in val. ooonga boonga monkey brain cant read nor comprehend only bark. Other than that the keyboard enhances ur performance not but allowing u to press ur buttons faster but thats an engineering feet that allows the player to perform at their best instead of actually doing the work for them.
@@Shinobi-k8t Counterstrafing is a core mechanic and skill in counterstrike. It's hardly relevant in valorant. the difference between someone with 0% counterstrafing accuracy and 100% counterstrafing accuracy in cs is huge, while the difference in valorant is negligible.
chat, is there a cheaper alternative to wooting that just about will get the job done? I'm really struggling to get my shooting timing down in accordance with movement, but I can't afford to spend a fortune on a keyboard being just a ranked player.
i have the Bridge75 HE and got it for $110 compared to wootings $175 . its hall effect meaning you could set actuation points using its software. only downside is there's no socd yet. if you want the cheapest/most budget hall effect keyboard, I recommend the YUNZII RT75 which you could get for just $89 atm.
the problem is HE keyboards live and die by their software, which wooting executes the best.
@@yououttapocket In terms of performance, most are the same, just dont get the low quality chinese brands because they have been tested and they acutally have a higher delay compared to other keyboards

Wrong. Cs and Val have different movement settings. One is coded great the other one by a company who only cares about how much a knife skin can make them off the steam market… valve doesn’t care about you or the player base they pulled an overwatch and made a second game that’s objectively worse in every aspect.
This looks like an outside program doing work for the player aka hacks. idk man.

you can just use keys2xinput
setup 100% matters and anyone that thinks otherwise is stupid, most of these pros that say setups don't matter 99% of them were on top tier setups at the time. I went from hardstuck gold to immortal 3 just from upgrading my pc from a dogshit one.
