4 years of watching val vids and this is one of the best ones I've seen so far. It's things I've felt but never knew how to explain. I'd love to see more videos on even just each component like showing places where you fast clear, slow clear, then fast clear [risk]. Or places where you told yourself what you'd do if they hit your site or if you had to play retake [preparation]. It'd be cool to see those from your pov. Sick video bro. You should be proud.
I really enjoyed watching this video! It felt honest and had a lot of genuine information that I think will really help me. You seem like a genuine, honest guy and earned a sub. I would love to see more like this.
How does someone find their ideal dpi and sensitivity based on your mouse and wrist moving habits? I have a superlight pro x mouse and lowkey hate it because I have a habit of wanting to use my entire arm to move in the moment of a gun fight. What do you recommend for “full arm swing” gamers?
@xoitsjello Personally I would recommend finding what sens gives you a comfortable and consistent 180. For me I got a large desk and mousemat, and basically measured my swipe distance to roughly the edge of my mousemat, then adjusted the sens bit by bit so that swipe was a 180. Also once you find that sens, just stick with it and don't over think it! Hope this makes sense?
Oh additionally DPI (dots per inch) is not really super relevant, but TECHNICALLY a higher dpi with a lower sens is preferable to low DPI and high sens, since it has a higher resolution. I try to teach people valorant mindset and it is nice to feel reassured in some ways that when i think i’m knowing how to optimally think and do things i’m not actually hurting myself. good vid.
Fr loved the video I find myself trying too hard to coordinate with my teammates and focusing so much of my mental energy trying to keep team morale up sometimes instead of focusing on myself and what I can do more. I make it a point to myself so often to stay positive in team chat and it really shines sometimes in games. Just yesterday I had a teammate I was trying to coordinate with and he wouldn’t listen, instead started mocking me and doing the opposite. Luckily I was playing phoenix that game so I could really do a lot on my own, got a couple of aces then all of a sudden he became my “best friend” and wanted to work with me. It’s very common I find that if you’re not popping off in a game a lot of people don’t want to listen to you, it’s better to focus on what you yourself can do and I thank you for putting that into my mind as well as the crosshair placement tips. Only negative I’ll say is I feel like the Tenz bashing was a little much haha could’ve utilized other povs but I understand where you’re coming from him being the glorified Messiah of Valorant. Excellent video you earned a sub from me.

I was hard stuck plat for 3 years and I found it so hard to stay consistent. Until I figured out on my own that I need to change my mentality approaching games and stop crying and realise how I could stop taking BAD fights. I caught my self in full focus and I was happy that I got diamond but I was still so dialled in that I went from being plat 3 to diamond 3 99 rr in one season. And I mean until that point I was CARRYING my games and out fragging people that I never imagined I could ever even kill. Then I sort of lost my focus again but after a break I'm gonna be coming back and going for immortal. It's everything that this video includes is everything I figured out naturally from playing for so long I can't agree with it anymore and I'm sending this to everyone who asks me for tips. I just started playing valorant like 4 days ago coming from years of ow2 and I’m really enjoying it. I like the community’s focus on improvement and the learning curve is rewarding. It’s easy to get swept up in tutorials but I appreciate the point you make on stress testing for yourself on what works. One thing that is confusing for me is situational stuff like the vandal vs phantom dilemma or crouch spraying.
Great video Proz! I'm currently Asc 3 and its often blinding to blame your team-mates for mistakes but at the end of the day self-improvement is KEY. Thanks for re-opening my eyes.

I would love to see more of this kind of content. You covered a lot of important topics in a way that proves you have a more than decent grasp of what you're talking about. I'm currently in Asc 3 and would love to see more from you. Specifically, I'd like to see more in-depth examples of how and where to apply some of the principles you talk about, as well as showing us gameplay where you explain what you're thinking about while playing. Ex. Why you're pushing to a certain position, why you expect an enemy to peak a certain angle the way they do, how you remain calm etc. I would love to know if there's almost like an order of operations that you run through mentally when playing. But yeah, overall, loved the video and hope to see more from you in the near future, you've earned my sub :)
This is a very good video, I personally believe that this video has completely changed my perspective on the game and how it should be played. Keep it up m8!
Proz showed us what “self enlightenment” is all about, fail and learn have a mentality to self criticise and improve on your mechanics having an open awareness mind to be humble while you get better.. top dawg for a reason🔥🔥🔥
Wow, this is the first really useful video where the author has super valid points and doesn't end up showing some stupid shooting range routine. Keep it up! 💪
Uk what, i saw a lot of videos saying this nd tht, but this guy here truly genuinely tries to simplify the concepts and help low elo players (bronze to maybe gold plat) to get the best out of their play... I mean to thanks alot mate... 🤝 nd well done... Keep going 👍
One thing that really helped me improve my crosshair placement and fundamentals was playing with guns that really punish bad crosshair placement. If you're playing with a sheriff or guardian against vandals/phantoms on swiftplays on unrateds, even if the other player is fundamentally worse than you, they will have a gun diff advantage against you because you will need to hit your first shot whereas they can get away with spraying through their crosshair correction. After a few days of doing this to warm up I noticed a huge improvement in my accuracy and headshot percentage, as well as winning more games.
this video is more personal, you know what i mean, like this guy is really going through it, so he know what he told us to do, insane video, sub immediately
wait ur actually cooking with this, the aiming away from a corner is def nice, much different than how you play other fps games because you can actually move while shooting lol, also learning whats best for you in that situation based off your personal reaction time is very nice, this makes sense why i aim insane and other times i just get inconsistent, realizing that i aim a certain way simply because where my crosshair is rather than flicking everytime
Bro the first valo tips and guide video that I genuinely think is worth it.... Not the scammer ytbers who just wana State the obvious like head level placement or just aim practice bro just gave a nice piece of mind to me ngl
amazing video man i just climbed from p1 to d2 very fast but im struggling there and i think this is gonna help me alot. especially the risk and advantage part as I've never really thought of those. and i like your explenation of aim because it pisses me off how many people are like "this aimlabs routine will get you to immortal no bs"
As someone one who has been playing Valorant since the day one of beta, sitting in Poki's stream and preying for a drop. I have wanted nothing more then to get better at this game. i have solo qued for the last 4 years slowing improving and working my way up. just yesterday I peeked P3 (started at bronze 2). so please man give us some more. These tips have truly helped me realize a lot of mistakes I've been making, in every video I watch people always say the same exact thing and never go into the depth about the topics, so truly thank you for making this video. THE GOAT
yo bro, just wanted to tell you that this video's great, you have the great ton of voice to make them helpful type of videos! u should defo keep doing it! :)
How are you not big, this is GOLD. The tip about not aiming at wall and aim as if someone would peek accounting for your reaction time stuck with me. Imma try to incorporate it, I always felt something off about aiming at the wall then flicking off when someone swings.
ive been stuck 200rr over a year and the way i aim exactly the immortal guy does. im doing it all wrong. this video actual miracle coming to my homepage
that was one important and needed video. thank you and i would love to have you make more videos from now on. The only part i didn’t understand was the part where you gave Tenz in the smoke on icebox as an example, didn’t really know what you meant by cheating and i needed to do differently to improve. But thank you for the video very helpful
I was also confused and returned to this part to see what he meant. Heres what I think Proz means by cheating: Cheating is when you're not aiming at the only spot/biggest threat at any given moment. He used Tenz as an example of cheating because when Tenz swung into the smoke, Tenz was not aiming at the only threat at the moment, which was a player inside the smoke. Looking at Tenz's pov, he was only aiming for players outside of his smoke. This is cheating because when Tenz swings into the smoke, this biggest danger is the player in the smoke and therefore Tenz should have focused his crosshair placement for players inside the smoke instead of having his crosshair placement for an imaginary player outside of Tenz' smoke. There is another example in the video where he mentions 'aiming at the wall' as cheating. Aiming at the wall would be considered cheating because your crosshair is not aiming at where the 'only spot' the enemy can peek you given if that enemy player swings you.
For the second half of your question: In the Tenz example, the thing he needed to do differently to improve was for Tenz to shift his focus to peeking the person inside of the smoke (and instead of aiming at site, he should have adjusted his crosshair to the left to any potential enemies in the smoke)
the not hacking aim technique is definitely one i need to apply. catch myself pre locking onto common angles and being surprised upon the swing. W tips make another! +1 sub
I’ve been immortal 3 hardstuck since episode 1 and these are seriously some good tips. They are things I knew but it’s a nice reminder to focus on especially when in higher elo cause every little thing matters
awsome bro I just got back to playing valorant after 2y and you got me real hyped about it. just watched video twice and ready to go. u r great keep it going
like fr I hope u are doing something similar professionaly. Planing, script and speech are phenomenal. One of the best creators I've come across in the educational content communities I've been part of!
Good video. Good tips that help me autodidact myself and not just blindly follow what someone says because they said so 👍🏼 loved the Tenz examples as some people think these “pros” are untouchable
I am not sure if I should be watching stuff like this being an entirely new player but hey, it's good to train some mindset early eh? Honestly the thing about focusing on what YOU could do better and how YOU can make your team win speaks so much volume and not just for Valorant, many other competitive games, for your MOBAs too. People are too trigger happy pointing fingers and never stop to think about what they could do. I approve of the messages in the video, good stuff.
This is the best Valorant video which I have ever seen. I would say the only 1 you need to watch. Have been playing from Beta version and still bronze. I believe that I am going to grow up now. Ty ♥
Great video, I am a Diamond Jett player and a few of these resonate a lot with me. Like playing more self-sufficient agents because I often get tilted when my team is not flashing/smoking/darting and I'm still trying to "be the duelist" and go in and I just die because I have no info. I also am quite good with the op but just average with vandal. I had a realization that I hold off the corner the way you showed every time I op to because I play with this "can't miss" attitude where with the vandal I tend to hold too tight with a "shoot quick" attitude. Which usually means reacting too slow and having to adjust my aim and now try to control recoil as well. I am excited to give this tip a try and hold my vandal more how I hold with my op.
what i have discovered that some people that start to be toxic are not immune to love, i know its hard but u have to be really kind to them, they throw tantrums like children, you have to act to them like they are, so tell them that you can buy them, tell them gj/nt. because like whos gonna be toxic to you when you throw love at them
This is my first time doing a video like this, ill try to improve more as i make these. Sorry if its hard to understand on certain parts.... tried my best ❤❤❤❤❤

amazing video man i just climbed from p1 to d2 very fast but im struggling there and i think this is gonna help me alot. especially the risk and advantage part as I've never really thought of those. and i like your explenation of aim because it pisses me off how many people are like "this aimlabs routine will get you to immortal no bs"
Underrated. Nice video keep it up
Best on yt bro, appreciates so much for this content
awesome video dude, could learn so much from this
Such a good video the space when you hold a corner is not discussed enough thank you for open my eyes on this one
THE GOAT
Dude actually put the fattest smile on my face lol I'll make another video trust
Lmao dope video I love it all especially you casually dumping on the over glazed tenz
I love how transparent this vid is, definitely helpefuy
Cooking tenz to verify ur points is a hilarious and awesome marketing move. Subscribed 👍🏾
yo bro, just wanted to tell you that this video's great, you have the great ton of voice to make them helpful type of videos! u should defo keep doing it! :)
The fact that in order to get out of low elo in a team game, you have to learn to not rely on a team, really shows the player base of the game
U shouldn’t play overwatch then. That game will raise your blood pressure
Great video!
Definitely the first video ill be sending my friends who also want to rank up!
that was one important and needed video. thank you and i would love to have you make more videos from now on.
This video is fantastic, covers a ton of information. I would love to see more tips and tricks videos from you
I'll do my best for you 😇
Extremely well made video, keep it up. Also thanks for the tips. : )
the not hacking aim technique is definitely one i need to apply. catch myself pre locking onto common angles and being surprised upon the swing. W tips make another! +1 sub
Awesome tips! I mma focus on what you said about self improvement, positioning and crosshair placement
OMG. Most useful tips I have ever seen bro. cant want for the next video.
BRO FIRE VIDEO, keep up the good work
Good video. Good tips that help me autodidact myself and not just blindly follow what someone says because they said so 👍🏼 loved the Tenz examples as some people think these “pros” are untouchable
They are good, but people need to understand that they can also compete with the best of the best
One of the best valorant tips video I've ever seen thanks a lot i learned a lot thanks to you
Really some advanced tips man! great work
I am not sure if I should be watching stuff like this being an entirely new player but hey, it's good to train some mindset early eh?
Honestly the thing about focusing on what YOU could do better and how YOU can make your team win speaks so much volume and not just for Valorant, many other competitive games, for your MOBAs too. People are too trigger happy pointing fingers and never stop to think about what they could do.
I approve of the messages in the video, good stuff.
Im kinda new to the game, thank you for these tips
well thank you so much for this video i really needed it and i learned so much from it keep up the great work
Brother this video is so good man ofc im subscribing
I am excited to give this tip a try and hold my vandal more how I hold with my op.
yes plz release another video; I def agree radiant mindset is sooo different than even imm and its cool to see
Very helpful and informative video!
what i have discovered that some people that start to be toxic are not immune to love, i know its hard but u have to be really kind to them, they throw tantrums like children, you have to act to them like they are, so tell them that you can buy them, tell them gj/nt. because like whos gonna be toxic to you when you throw love at them
doesn not work every time, but it can at leastlessen the rage
