Speedy Pass Platinum at Movie Park Germany Tested: How Much Time Did We Save? Is It Worth It?

- Movie Park Germany is a movie studios theme park located in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia. Home to an impressive collection of rides, including 8 roller coasters, spectacular shows, incredible water rides and a decent collection of flat rides - so there’s a lot to get done in a day!
We made our first ever visit to the park during the 2024 Easter holidays, so decided to opt for the paid extra, skip the line service known as Speedy Pass.
Speedy Pass allows access to a special attraction entrance that reduces your waiting time, effectively skipping the main queue line.
Through a website using your own smart phone, you make reservation, one attraction at a time, selecting which attraction you’d like to skip next. Speedy Pass reserves you a space in a virtual queue line. The length of time in the virtual line, depends upon the level of service you select. When your time is ready you can enter through the speedy pass entrance.
There are 5 different levels of Speedy Pass at Movie Park Germany.
One Shot: One attraction once.
Bronze: Each attraction once - wait time 100% of actual queue
Silver: Each attraction once - wait time 50% of actual queue
Gold: Each attraction once - wait time 5% of actual queue
Platinum: Unlimited times per attraction - wait time 5% of actual queue

Yeah its taken a *few years to get to Movie Park but so glad I did, its a fab park with a lot of charm and interesting rides ...

Thanks for the nice video, but one thing is not clear for me. If you are visiting the park with 2 people do you than both need to have purchased one speedy pass or can you buy one speedy pass and use it for both persons for all rides? So 1x speedy pass or 2x speedy pass needed with 2 people?

You have to buy the speedy pass per person, however it is managed by one lead on your group - so the leader will select the speedy pass ride for the entire group

Can i get an speedy pass on my own phone? My dad said to put the pass on his Email, because he booked the Moviepark tickets. Does that maatter?
Hello yes, you get one “log in” for the speedy pass so as long as your dad doesn’t mind sharing his log in details, you can log into that pass on multiple devices - but you’ll only be able to make one reservation at a time for the group.
This is exactly how we used Speedy Pass, I bought the speedy pass using my email but we logged in on my partners phone so I could keep my phone for filming!

Yes you can log in on any device, it’s just bound to the lead bookers log in details for their speedy pass account
