10:40 - Those bridge-deploying vehicles are a real thing. The US's most recent model is called the M1074 Joint Assault Bridge, but the one in-game is probably an M104 Wolverine.
AC 130: Welcome to burger town can I get your order?" Ramirez: "Can I get a number 3, hold the napalm?" AC 130: "Will this be for here or to go?" Ramirez: "To go, I'm in a bit of a Rush." AC130: "One number 3 coming right up!"
Modern Warfare 2 was so wacky. Literally go to Brazil, torture a guy, shoot guns in a populated civilian area, proceed to kill militia that moves in to defend said civilians, torture second guy, leave. lmao
You know, it's been a long ass time, but I REALLY like the detail where the first time you actually get a good look at shepard he's standing over you with his weapon drawn, and then he helps you up. Game sets up a positive association with that framing as early as possible.
OG GHOST is still great! He was an interrogator, was smart with the computers, determined soldier, & leader!! New Ghost has a bit more personality and is taller!!
The HMVs with the miniguns are special forces. My cousin got roped into being bait on his last tour, once his patrol was fired upon, the special forces went in. Among other things, they had Miniguns.
Seeing you play this is amazing. I got nearly 2,000 hours in the multiplayer according to Steam. I managed to get a nuke with every gun at least once, but the MP5K had a special place in my heart. The ACR and AK were great fun in multiplayer too, running the AA12 as your secondary was dumb, especially when extended mags just gave you more ammo for it overall.
honestly prefere small banter over voice coms ingame rather then cutscenes these short briefs right into gameplay with character moments and voicelines while ingame is so much better and feels more natural.
Oh my god, it's Soap, the hot doctor from Grey's anatomy! Also, in Cliffhanger, those are Flankers, not Fulcrums(Sukhoi 27, not MiG-29)... angled tail, instead of a straight one. Also loaded out with 6x R-27 missiles, which is impossible and obsolete.
I would chalk up the success of the Russian invasion in MW2 to the surprise factor and the fact that Russia had been in a civil war for presumably multiple years and the ultra-nationalists winning.
I literally played through the Campaigns of all the Classic Modern Warfare Trilogy a few weeks ago, they've been sitting in my room as I was originally gonna boot up my Xbox 360 and play those games, alongside a bunch more my Neighbor Mandy gave to me last year. Unfortunately, upon booting up said Xbox 360, I got the Red Ring of Death, so that plan went out the window. Fortunately, I was able to buy an Xbox Series X June 9th of this year, yet even though not ALL of the Xbox 360 games are backwards compatible, at least I was able to play the Classic Modern Warfare Trilogy. So when I saw this vid on my recommendation feed, I found it ironic in a sense, given that Classic Modern Warfare's Campaigns were still fresh in my mind.
@@cristianbernal8009 I played the rest of those game in my native langage so I never realised, but SR was alwasy in English, so it struck me right away
@@MsLeVagabon Keith David has been in an astounding number of projects. Head onto his IMDB and at least 20% of the things hes in you've probably read or watched.
The best thing about the burger Easter egg imo is that's the current promotion Australia Hungry Jacks (BK for Americans) Buy a double baconattor burger and get an xo boost
SO i know im late, but Bricky calls out Keith David and mentions his part in ME, but they he ignores Lance Henriksen the other main admiral (Hackett) as the voice of general Shepard (which come on the names)
I think you can tell the downfall of COD and the AAA gaming in total by one thing: the presence of fantastic music. Hans Zimmerman is an award winning composer on MOVIES and he does COD games?? Fantastic. We don’t have that anymore.
i wanna go and buy remastered version but after all this time they still sell at full price i don't know what to say i won't pay full price for game this old instead of lower the price so people want to play real game not pirate one but nope it's all about numbers
Asking jf migs were good or bas is a tough question, it's such a huge line of Tom's of aircraft, that's like asking if Lockheed martens are good or bad
Now they're an even bigger threat considering the entirety of NATO is been depleted, while they barely used a fraction of their army. We knew americucks were toothless, but this is beyond pathetic.
Bricky, can You actually go back to God of War Ragnarok and do the sidequests this time? There's so much cool lore and dialogues that You've missed pwease!
I don't think we should compare old and new modern warfare. The old ones weren't trying to be realistic, it was just full throttle balls to the walls horeshit that could never be done whereas the newer ones are trying to be more realistic which is why there's none of this crazy shit.
That’s why the new ones aren’t as good. They want the more “realistic” feel but try to maintain the more action movie plot development. Which turns it into like a weird semi-propaganda piece instead of a cheesy shoot-em-up.
Bricky speed running the campaign by shooting Shepherd at the beginning
precognitive paranoia
That's one less lose end
Lol
Ironically when I first beat this game I would go back to the first mission and unload a mag in shepherds back
The way he just picked the deagle and INSTANTLY shot shepard was funny af
one less loose end
The warfare was truly modern
Too modern
2 modern 4 u m9
9:30
Y'know, something I appreciate about this campaign is how you actually fight at reasonable engage engagement distances, at least sometimes
Yes
The real mw2
I'm gonna watch this in 360p for authenticity
10:40 - Those bridge-deploying vehicles are a real thing. The US's most recent model is called the M1074 Joint Assault Bridge, but the one in-game is probably an M104 Wolverine.
Yeah I was an Army Engineer back in the early 00’s and we had those as well.
Funnily enough, hitting civilians in the pit would probably make Shepard more likely to select you for his "special top secret black op mission"
AC 130: Welcome to burger town can I get your order?"
Ramirez: "Can I get a number 3, hold the napalm?"
AC 130: "Will this be for here or to go?"

Yeah, honestly irl we’d probably team up with the militia.
54:12 seeing Bricky getting excited for Burger Town and immediately unloading his M240 made my day.
Are we gonna just ignore how Bricky just absolutely murdered The Pit? Sheesh, he's a good shot
He literally hit two civvies 💀
Shoots shepherd.
Good that’s one less loose end
So weird to hear the new voice actor for Shepard playing a different general in this game

OG GHOST is still great! He was an interrogator, was smart with the computers, determined soldier, & leader!! New Ghost has a bit more personality and is taller!!
Reasons people have died in COD:
1. The flinch (28:00)
Bricky kills 1000+ Human enemies: nothing
Bricky kills 2 Dogs: Aaawww *sad face*
The modern was truly warfare
Heard the first two seconds of the intro and got a instant goosebumps.
Hans Zimmer is truely the god of music/soundtracks.
Bricky's fuming at the Zoomer in chat is the funniest thing
Talking about favorite weapons?
G36C, in MW1 and MW3.
That was my FAVORITE weapon.
I definitely don’t hate the new MW2, but man I miss this so much, this is my Shepherd, this is my Soap, my Ghost and my Price.
Man I still love listening to all the loading screen briefings
I like how Overlord is the voice of Shepard in the new MW2.
1:00:30 "The convoy is here"
RPG: "I have a new target"
Bricky is impressed with the one of the most simple bridge layers ever fielded.

The virgin MWII propaganda and meh writing vs the chad Modern warfare 2 with snowmobile mission
19:25 now that was dope, good work Bricky
Dang I was 12 when this game came out I was legit a squeaker on the mic getting told to stfu by a bunch of older dudes. Good times 😂😂😂
I love that they don't do the entire dialog in the radio, because that how it actually works in ground warfare, the soldiers yell everything
Honestly what made Modern Warfare 2 2009 so memorable was Hanz Zimmer
Wolverines is a reference to a amazing 80s movie called “red dawn” about ww3 44:33
Is that Keith David the voice actor of Mr. Obama from the hit show Rick and Morty

keith david to me, arbiter from halo, anderson from mass effect. did not realise he voiced foley until you mentioned it
New shepherd’s VA/Actor in the og game is wild. Thank you NORAD/overlord man
WE GOT FIGHTER JETS OF I95 always gave me chills
When he picked up the deagle i was just already grinning

Oof, that made me feel old
i dont often like videos but 5:55 earned it bricky i love you
Wild seeing that the voice of Overlord in the original series is the actor for Shepherd in the rebooted series
The new ones suck because they left the true hero out. The man, the myth, the Legend, Ramirez.
The game crashing had me in tears
I feel like if you're replaying, it's legally required to shoot shepard AT _LEAST_ once lmao
Never realise Lucius from Saints row was Sgt Foley lmao
He also Arbiter in Halo, Goliath in Gargoyles, Admiral Anderson in Mass Effect

This game was GOATED
The intro music almost reminds of like The Terminator, like if Hans Zimmer did something like Terminator Salvation
Such a damn good campaign.
Its so fun playing on console or controller and hearing the comm chatter through the controller speaker

Im more nostalgic for those food prices.
I have memories of the mission in Brazil cause that shit was hard for me lol

This is timed way too well
Ah finally, the good MW2
man is on a roll
This game is just superior in every way to the remake.
Keith David is goated
Where this live stream from, I can’t find in Twitch where he play MW2.
I cant believe bricky was trained by the king of the gargoyles AND the arbiter
All hail the Arbiter.
SO i know im late, but Bricky calls out Keith David and mentions his part in ME, but they he ignores Lance Henriksen the other main admiral (Hackett) as the voice of general Shepard (which come on the names)
Ghost, first name, Casper.
Nowadays im on the side of the locals in the first mission.

LOOK AT THOSE PRICES

I haven’t played this game and I’m not planning on it but go on😀.
Uh,big mac,no tomato. Fries large sprite
Brickey out here picking the scar H over my beloved the scar L
holy bot spam
what a nice wallpaper he has
Wait so what was the other MW2 that Bricky played? Is it all the same remaster / soft reboot or is it another game entirely?
Modern Warfare 2019 and 2022 are a reboot and this Modern Warfare 2 is a Remaster of the original Modern Warfare series
Fuck I forgot that they put a Brazilian with Spanish name
the better modern warfares og 1,2,3
