I get why Samara went after the phone to try and disarm the vest, but at the same time, isn't Makarov supposed to be some evil genius determined to get a war going? Wouldn't it make more sense that the phone is a red herring, either activating the vest prematurely or being a bomb itself? Wouldn't the smart but brutal answer be to throw your self out of the plane, leaving a lot more room for people to point out that something was up because A) the supposed terrorist either blew up outside of the plane, or B) the plane blew up even though a person wearing a vest they were restrained in was found in some random area

@39:35 One of the men informed Makarov they were below 8,000 feet. They had already taken out the pilots and crew, and were already rapidly descending. So at that altitude, cabin doors opening and depressurizing isn't really an issue.

39:08 so the flashbang exploded in the section closer to the planes nose. When you were dragged out by Makarov's people you can see that for whatever reason every single person in that section magically died or fell into a deep coma (since they were not moving and had to be placed in their seats by the hijackers). Of course flashbangs are loud as fuck and create a bright light (hence the name) so it made absolutely no sense that people from the second section didn't know what's going on DESPITE the bright flash from behind the cloth (which would absolutely be visible and probably blind someone), loud ass bang and the depressurization. Just ignore the facts bro, game is perfect, just ignore the facts
I know Makarov is iconic with the suit and bulletproof vest, but in context to this campaign, why is he the only one wearing that while the rest of his men wear actual military uniforms and gear?
39:20 I assume why the flashbang and gunshots didn't shake up the passengers is because the people who took her down where the air marshals which probably assured the passengers that everything is under control. However opening the plane door yea idk about that one. Maybe cause they were at 8k feet which at that altitude should be safe opening but idk why the passengers where just oh ok cool.
32:14 "CoD doesn't have a lot of balls anymore" Couldn't have put it better myself. The saddest part is that they could have made that scene a tiny bit edgier, if they had the balls to leave some bullet in the gun at the very end of that scene, letting the player panic and start to shoot civilian to save everyone... but you couldn't even do that. We went from "this is the mission where you play an undercover CIA agent participating in a mass shooting" to "this is the mission where you play a strong waman that tries to fight terrorist highjacking a plane. And ofc they made it as short as possible, because they really didn't want to do it in the first place. The lack of balls is indeed stagering. Also, as soon as you start to think about it for more than a second, you realize how stupid this whole plot is. So they have put a bomb vest on a woman and try to make it pass as if she was a terrorist.... and how would that work exactly? Do they expect the authorities to be able to pick up who had a bomb after they and the plane they were on exploded mid air? Wat?! The WHOLE plan here relied on passengers taking videos... and sending said videos before the plane went to smoke?!
The funny thing is, her being labelled a terrorist and the plane carshing wouldn't change even if she had bullets in her gun and killed civs and defused the bomb or the bomb not even going off. Would just be "terrorist tries to blow up plane and fails, kills 2 passengers with gun, plane crashes" or "terrorist fails to blow up plane, plane crashes anyways"
Yes lil bro 😂 why else would you think the next mission was about going to the crash site to retrieve and delete the datas on the phones and blackbox? 💀
@@urbigbro4025 Ah yes, the phone that saved all the data trough a plane crash. The phones that happen to be close enough to the woman with the bomb strapped on her to film her right when it exploded (I'm sure phones automatically save videos when they are blown up, right?) I needed to leave a comment on one specific part. The jumps from planes in this game are a disappointment and an insult to paratroopers. I'm not expecting 100% accuracy, but if you're jumping from a plane the guide isn't just gonna say jump. A prep to stand up, a light change, a call-out, then the jump after everyone has checked everyone's chute.
All I will say about CoD and about media in general these days is that both suffer from chronic "sequel" issues. No one makes a coherent story with a beginning and an end anymore, it all is left open ended for potential sequels.
The "mistakes" with that plane sequence aren't really mistakes at all. The flashbang helped to create confusion and mask Samara getting set up for the terrorist attack. The civilians being blinded and deafened makes their confused and panic reactions at the end even more reasonable. Secondly, the plane was descended to below 8000ft for Markov's parachute drop, which is well below the altitude that requires pressurization. Thirdly, the guns could have been loaded with frangible rounds, which are designed to break apart when impacting hard surfaces. Air marshals that carry guns often use these rounds IRL, for they will usually fail to penetrate the plane and cause a depressurization. They also help to avoid overpenetration and unintentional casualties, necessary for a place as crowded as an airliner. It's a reasonable sequence, if perhaps a bad plan.
Do you think flashbang is a magical tool that makes people forget that a shootout happened with multiple flight marshals dead? guy at the start also states that the air marshals are in on it with them yet if you don't take down the guy with the gun, marshals point their guns at him? And somehow there is more Air Marshals that are supposedly on Makarov's side but they stay behind on the plane to make sure they can punch the woman strapped with explosives? There's no defending this sequence of events man, no matter how you look at it she could have just turned around and jumped off with the bomb as well, or take it off, or do anything to alert the air marshals that we don't know who's side they are on at this point.
Will any lessons be learned by Activision because of this travesty? No. Will they still make a billion something dollars over the life cycle of this game? Yes.

Its like... considering how often they release, I always thought CoD should be an all in one deal that gets updated over time, but of course they had to go and do it in the worst possible way.
MW2 was supposed to be that but it seems it took one meeting for them to change their mind three months in
@@hermitgreenn Why change your model to a more consumer friendly alternative when you can milk people for 70 dollars year after year?
Yeah but seeing $1 billion on sales of a new game is more enticing for stockholders than regularly making a few DLCs a year on an "aging" game
I mean that's what MW3 remake was supposed to be. It was just a big DLC for MW2, hence all the open combat warzone maps, but the big wigs went "but what if instead of charging DLC prices for this... we made it a full $70 game and double the price >:D"
You know, I really gotta say what the heck is even happening in the new MW story? Like i literally have no idea on what the overall plot is
for some stupid reason they've decided half the story has been taking place in DMZ and warzone, so theres actually a ton of shit you miss out on if you're not paying attention to warzone stuff (like who Makarovs group are, the fact Graves survived, the fact Alex survived)
@@boowompthecatLiterally pisses me off to no end, why is that a thing it makes no sense. I'm not really interested in Warzone, what a nonsensical way to handle your main story
@@ironduke5058 I think its kinda the same modern media logic where series like Marvel and Star Wars have major plot developments happening in TV episodes and assuming you keep up to date with those. Except its even stupider than that because you have to play through a bunch of Warzone games instead of just sitting down and watching or listening passively.
Oh you mean like how canonically, Fortnite is essential to the canon of star wars because that's how we found out Palpatine returned? @@lyon2475
@@boowompthecat like how Disney series operate now, they expect you to buy and consume all their products to know the story. They assume the fans are curious or desperate enough to do it
The campaign had so much promise that the previous entries set up. A spanikingly new graphics refresh. ASMR reload sounds and animation. S Tier gun sounds. Almost photoreal but not uncanny valley cutscenes. Likeable protagonists. A compelling campaign that was trying to be serious, but not overtly pretentious.
And then in the words of another UA-camr, "YOU DONE FUCKED IT UP."
If there’s a silver lining, it’s that reading a fucking book like a geezer is starting to replace COD as my activity of choice before bed.
Wait, who? The only likable character in this trilogy is Graves.
I had many, but Vargas was a standout. @@TheDapperDragon
Bricky just ending stream and being visible roused from anger sent me flying. I hope you had more fun at the wedding Bro
Man.... remember the OG MW2 and MW3 where you had amazing action sequences, big scale battles, and so many memorable moments? That whole hammer down sequence is still fresh in my memory, so is the opening submarine assult in MW3. I won't remember Jackshit from the reboot MW series except Russians bad, which come on game I don't need to be reminded.
And the music MY GOD the music from the OG games are so damn good, why is there so little music in the reboot games
Makarov looks like he sells crypto
I love Bricky's idea of stealth is "If nobody is left to tell the tale, I was basically never there."
FOAP DIDN'T JUJU ON THAT BEAT! also the fact its only 3 hours half being cutscenes.... so 1 hour 30 mins of gameplay, and imo this game shouldn't be called mw3 at all because it only has 2 things in common being the gas, and foap.
Ima need to go back to replay the OG MW3 campaign.
The "he's so cool" followed by immediate regret is hilarious
I love that in the last few minutes during the mile hijack mission he gave the mission praise. But when a few chatters quickly refreshed his memory after it was all said and done, he took it all back.
16:09 Did you notice the soldiers revert to the exact same idle animation after cheering? I did when another tuber named Nano pointed it out.
And yea, it’s warzone to the point you can find and use killstrewaks like VTOL jets. -.-
the fact that IGN give it 4/10 is just insane
Blizzard Activision’s check bounced
So it means their real impression is 0 to 1. Man, the fall just too much
@@cooleradam4324the money had to go to funding the cosmetic bundles 😂
Something they didn't iterate in MW2 2009 was that the reason why they knew the guy was American in No Russian was because Shepard leaked it because he knew it would start a war 💀
At this point I’m convinced they dont have a single ux designer on the single player
the new voice actors are basically just "gruff military man"
Holy shit Russian in this game is so hilariously wrong
I really like how Makarov says "Six years" in Russian and then subtitles say "Four years"
Wow this popped up in my recommended feed and I couldn't believe the guy that did those LoL main videos almost 10 years ago is still going strong!
35:00 Homelander from the boys telling you: You are the true hero.
Also the scene is happening on a plane too lol
Bricky's video is almost as long as the actual gameplay in MW "3".
It's a small issue compared to everything else but I hate it when they take those pauses to say someone's name, like they're waiting for the crowd to cheer and go ape once they say it. Cause that's not how fucking conversation works
Ever since I watched your MWII 2 2022 review and the Moist Man’s play through of this “campaign”, I was greatly looking forward to yours… and it doesn’t disappoint!
22:50 That lever makes no sense and even if it did, you would've broken your hand and worst case scenario arm already. That's so funny 💀
Bricky following the Warframe philosophy on stealth.
@39:35 One of the men informed Makarov they were below 8,000 feet. They had already taken out the pilots and crew, and were already rapidly descending. So at that altitude, cabin doors opening and depressurizing isn't really an issue.
MW19: we must locate stolen chemicals
MWII: we must locate stolen missiles
MWIII: we must locate stolen missiles with chemical tips
12:37 This is a pretty wrong assumption because the new multiplayer maps that came with each cod game were based on the places you played in the campaign.
In this case, they just restored you assets from MW19 and said "you have new stages"
Bruh didnt we kill Graves in MW2 2022? He was the tank boss. Edit: what a retcon.
“I wasn't in that tank bro…”

“It wasn’t me in that office Price! It was my brother, Husky!!” - Shepherd
Graves is such a dude bro they even got him gaslighting us proper: “BRO. I wasn’t even IN there.. GAWD”
Turns out Price hasn't actually killed anyone and he's actually just in a simulation from Infinite Warfare. Every character he meets from then on introduces themself with "It wasn't me Price! I wasn't even in that simulation."
you spend more time downloading the game than finishing the campaign
Yuri is a skin walker and you cannot tell me otherwise
You can depressurise the plane when it's below 8000 feet, hence why the crew member said that
To be fair, "No Russian" was always stupid.
"Okay, Mr. CIAguy. We're going to give you the biggest gun in the game and ask you to stand behind the BBEG.... but don't you dare think about sawing him and his 2 friends in half with the giant freaking LMG in your hands!"
bro as soon as you get that shot of an airport there's just an immediate and palpable sense of DREAD
I know Makarov is iconic with the suit and bulletproof vest, but in context to this campaign, why is he the only one wearing that while the rest of his men wear actual military uniforms and gear?
we love nikolai listening to bonebreaker by slaughter to prevail
39:20 I assume why the flashbang and gunshots didn't shake up the passengers is because the people who took her down where the air marshals which probably assured the passengers that everything is under control. However opening the plane door yea idk about that one. Maybe cause they were at 8k feet which at that altitude should be safe opening but idk why the passengers where just oh ok cool.
The missiles where white scar missiles, hence why they where being sonic.... or.... the missiles where alpharius
It’s not even kind of a joke anymore, they’re just straight up releasing the same game
32:14 "CoD doesn't have a lot of balls anymore"
Couldn't have put it better myself.
The phones that happen to be close enough to the woman with the bomb strapped on her to film her right when it exploded (I'm sure phones automatically save videos when they are blown up, right?)
And ofc, let's not forget the blackbox. The magic tool that apprently save phone videos too?
"I'm on the third mission."

As Ivan got shot, as soon as the gunshot rung out and he keeled over it hit to a moonpig advert xD I was taken off guard
What are you talking about Bricky? This campaign is one of the best CoD campaigns since Madagascar: The Video Game!
4:18 Dude, he said "6 years" not 4, what the hell, they can't even count to 10
Lmao not surprising anymore
bro they didn't even remember Makarov's Heterochromia (Blue and Green)
Lets say, hypothetically, that we take control of a plane
"I have to update call of duty"
Man, I love the future dont you?
I hate how in the new games every model walks like they shit their pants
Why did Makarov have the tactical vest and suit on while in the cell? 🤔
Multiplayer drops in in single player campaign, always online, 1vArmy vs two armies fighting like in original trilogy with us just as one soldier of a battle...
This is such bullshit...
Starting with the ending of mw19, they decided to turn tf141 into Avengers.
The entire stream was absolutely entertaining of shitting on the campaign
I needed to leave a comment on one specific part. The jumps from planes in this game are a disappointment and an insult to paratroopers. I'm not expecting 100% accuracy, but if you're jumping from a plane the guide isn't just gonna say jump. A prep to stand up, a light change, a call-out, then the jump after everyone has checked everyone's chute.
the fact that the new MW3 has a *capitalism* tag on steam is fitting
At 6:24 I thought those three inmates didn't have mags in their guns, then realized the mags are just light grey and blend with their clothing.
I love how in the No Russian mission of this game, the first thing Makarov says on the plane is in Russian
I’m so glad someone said 1 CP when she said overwatch
All I will say about CoD and about media in general these days is that both suffer from chronic "sequel" issues. No one makes a coherent story with a beginning and an end anymore, it all is left open ended for potential sequels.
This video is almost as long as the campaign
Missiles get launched.
Game. 3 hours earlier.
Price transmitting to Laswell... Heads up. Missiles. BOOM.
I'm just reeling from the revelation that CoD has *continuity* between games
Was it poor gun safety to execute him that way? Yes. But poor gun safety is Russian gun safety.
This is one of those things where it isnt just bad, I hate it.
I can't believe Ben Shapiro destroyed that plane with facts and logic
Come on Bricky you can't hold the gaming industry to the same expectations as a big budget developer like Laron Studios
YO ONCE I SAW THE GRAVES CUTSCENE I WAS LIKE YOO BRICKY SAID THAT
Will any lessons be learned by Activision because of this travesty? No.
Will they still make a billion something dollars over the life cycle of this game? Yes.
Oh my god, their Russian sounds so funny
How so? You speak it?
@@ironduke5058 Honestly the only one that sounds funny and outright bad is Makarov, his accent is horrible and pronunciation is god awful. As someone who is russian it was miserable to listen too. Makarov doesn't even say the correct number of years in the beginning! He says 6 years instead of 4! Either the people who did the subtitles messed up and put the wrong year or the voice actor fucked up the line or was given the wrong script/line. Everyone else sounded decent to good. (Also doesn't help that what they're saying doesn't match up with what is subtitled).
