Setting off the nuke, killing hundreds at the airport, killing a bunch of player characters and starting World War three leading to countless deaths and the destruction of Europe and the Eastern Seaboard of the United States? What an asshole! Nu Makarov just can't compare.

12:40 "cod has made a lot of their missions into multiplayer maps." retrofitting a campaign location into a map is both efficient and really cool for the people who play the campaign. literally copy and pasting multiplayer maps from the PREVIOUS GAME and filling them with bots is just embarrassing. They tested this out in the co-op missions in the first MW reboot, and doubled down in the co-op stuff for MW2, and we let them get away with it without even considering that we were actually just beta testing the future of CoD campaigns.

@@toddoverholt4556I don't think its a fair comparison. Previously in other Cods(yes, even the "worst" ones) before MW19 the multiplayer maps were based on campaign levels but without the context of the mission and were different enough that some people couldnt even recognize the mission the map was from and that made them cool. Now it's so obvious it's a copy paste of Warzone and DMZ. And even the missions that are more linear are either extremely short or are build from a Warzone area

No Russian was an interesting idea here. Great set up, but I think the part where you have to get the phone is where they messed it up. They should've forced you to go further for it, stretch out the mission, and give the gun actual bullets just to force you to shoot the civilians. That's a fascinating moral quandary but instead it just resulted in punching some people and blowing up with little to no actual player actions.

When you were dragged out by Makarov's people you can see that for whatever reason every single person in that section magically died or fell into a deep coma (since they were not moving and had to be placed in their seats by the hijackers). Of course flashbangs are loud as fuck and create a bright light (hence the name) so it made absolutely no sense that people from the second section didn't know what's going on DESPITE the bright flash from behind the cloth (which would absolutely be visible and probably blind someone), loud ass bang and the depressurization. 32:14 "CoD doesn't have a lot of balls anymore"
Couldn't have put it better myself.
The saddest part is that they could have made that scene a tiny bit edgier, if they had the balls to leave some bullet in the gun at the very end of that scene, letting the player panic and start to shoot civilian to save everyone... but you couldn't even do that.
We went from "this is the mission where you play an undercover CIA agent participating in a mass shooting" to "this is the mission where you play a strong waman that tries to fight terrorist highjacking a plane. And ofc they made it as short as possible, because they really didn't want to do it in the first place.
The lack of balls is indeed stagering.
Also, as soon as you start to think about it for more than a second, you realize how stupid this whole plot is.
So they have put a bomb vest on a woman and try to make it pass as if she was a terrorist.... and how would that work exactly?
Do they expect the authorities to be able to pick up who had a bomb after they and the plane they were on exploded mid air?
Wat?! The WHOLE plan here relied on passengers taking videos... and sending said videos before the plane went to smoke?!

The "mistakes" with that plane sequence aren't really mistakes at all. The flashbang helped to create confusion and mask Samara getting set up for the terrorist attack. The civilians being blinded and deafened makes their confused and panic reactions at the end even more reasonable. Secondly, the plane was descended to below 8000ft for Markov's parachute drop, which is well below the altitude that requires pressurization. Thirdly, the guns could have been loaded with frangible rounds, which are designed to break apart when impacting hard surfaces. Air marshals that carry guns often use these rounds IRL, for they will usually fail to penetrate the plane and cause a depressurization. They also help to avoid overpenetration and unintentional casualties, necessary for a place as crowded as an airliner.
It's a reasonable sequence, if perhaps a bad plan.

    • @The-Enemy-Medic
      @The-Enemy-Medic Рік тому +2

Do you think flashbang is a magical tool that makes people forget that a shootout happened with multiple flight marshals dead?
guy at the start also states that the air marshals are in on it with them yet if you don't take down the guy with the gun, marshals point their guns at him?
And somehow there is more Air Marshals that are supposedly on Makarov's side but they stay behind on the plane to make sure they can punch the woman strapped with explosives?
There's no defending this sequence of events man, no matter how you look at it she could have just turned around and jumped off with the bomb as well, or take it off, or do anything to alert the air marshals that we don't know who's side they are on at this point.
