Thats why sound design/soundtracks are more important than graphics. Graphics will age like milk, good art design and sound design will age like fine wine
Its so wonderful that after all these years we come together to remember the good old times in Assassins Creed. When Ubisoft did a wonderful story about a great assassin. When the story wasn't just fun, but went into our hearts. I miss these days. AC II was the reason why I flew italy. I visited every city of the game and I had tears in my eyes. To stand on top of the dome in florence... To see the Castel Sant'Angelo and remembering the difficult climbing to the top in AC Brotherhood. To stand on the bridge (ponte vecchio) and remembering the first fight when Ezio got his scarf. And so many other places. I hope Ubisoft will do a similar touching story one day. I won't give up my hope
@@joelsweeney4024 well im making a game on hurricane, floods, and wild fires where u go in and save everyone investigate stuff, alot of stuff, :)) come at discord then we can talk
i played this game for the first time last year during summer at a time when i had 0 worries about anything and i felt so fucking immersed, literally a portal into a different world
the art work of : Music, cinematics, gameplay, character (Voice, actions) , overall aesthetics ... everything about this game is exceptional. in 2009 this game was launched and we appreciate this game till today.
And this first version of it will always be the best and most touching one. I once read that every instrument of this song is meant to represent one member of the Auditore family. And the one of Ezio, the guitar, is the last one playing ... all alone.
I remember three Christmas days In a row so well because I got a new assassin creed every year. I loved them so much, I played them daily for years I didn't realize how much of a safe space it was for me back then. I'm very grateful to these games (specifically the Ezio trilogy) for the escape they gave me back then. I was an (and still am lol.) adhd, autistic, and anxiety ridden mess of a kid trying to understand school, and failing hard. But when I was in Ezio's world everything felt right, like everything would work out fine.
This is my comfort game. I just love everything about it spend so much time just looking around Florence looking around Venice it’s just all so immersive and a huge part of it is this amazing music
One of the most exceptional video game soundtracks I've had the honor and pleasure of experiencing. And the story in this Assassin's Creed game is truly remarkable. Do you recall that Simpsons short where Hank Scorpio asks Homer which country is his least favorite (the one that's going to be destroyed), France or Italy? Homer responds, 'France.' Hank chuckles and says, 'Heh, no one ever says Italy.' Bella Italia
I was 20, back when i fiest played ac2 on my new laptop, after a decade of patience and upgrading from pentium 2 to i5. No worries for tomorrow. No care or value for what i had back then - the ample time, the people, places and things i owned. Now i am 34, living pay cheque to pay cheque to meet the ends meet. Having anxiety for work everyday and stress for finances and dreams that never fulfills. Pondering over it also makes me realize to cherish whatever we have right now. Dont knw right after 10 years where we might be.. probably looking back at this time and smiling on our thoughts.
This is the Gold generation, You will never get bored by this game, You wish that you live in that time, Just imagine No social media or technology. Just a peace village/city, WIth it's lovely climate and people are not assholes and not rude. Welll i shall say Most of the people aren't rude like today. Just look at this atmosphere, Night, Full Moon and the cold.
Thanks for sharing this amazing song, listening this always when I'm working on philosophy and now on philosophy of the Renaissance... Machiavel against Savonarole... Big up from France!
I first played this game when I was 13...where did the time go? I remember I played so much that I started to imagine climbing and parkouring irl, and would dream in fake italian :-)
I love it all, but could we get a timestamp/tracklist please? I may just wanna go to the grittiness of Romagna or the slow sadness of the San Gimgiano countryside...

well said.
Hear hear
Furthermore, good art and sound design can make aged graphics feel like a different kind of experience rather than old.
no they both matter
graphics at the time are amazing just like milkshakes. graphics should alyws be appreciated as the beautiful music
Every now and then, when I’m beset by stress, anxiety or sadness, my mind wonders here.
Welcome, hope you find a nice place to de-stress here at my channel ^_^
same :)
i agree, these kinda playlists help

AC2 has some S tier music, so underated
I’m pretty sure the music isn’t underrated.
