Gandalf is Olórin in Valinor the wisest member of the Maiar, one of the primordial spirits created to help the Valar shape the world; the shape of an old man was given to him so he could learn anew and face his fears and only to aid in the war of the ring. I imagine he will have a more powerful and glorious form in Valinor once he remembers who he really was before he was sent to Middle Earth resembling a very large old man

What's interesting to me is that in Tolkien's world, Valinor is still out there. We are now in the 7th Age of Middle Earth, long, _long_ after the Music of Creation (what we would call magic) has faded into half-forgotten legend and myth. The Dominion of Men is well underway, and even though we've managed to make a proper mess of things down here, there is still hope for us. This is probably just as Eru intended. But no matter how much we feel we've outgrown such silly and childish nonsense like fairy tales and wizards, there is a place both near and infinitely removed from our ordinary reality where everything is as it was in the beginning, where the Music never faded, and magic may yet be found. Nothing we do will ever be able to harm Valinor or mar its beauty, and there's something uplifting about that, don't you think?

"Death is just another path, one that we all must take" Of course it is. The path that souls, emprisoned in human body that is prone to material pleasures on the planet Earth, sadly forgot. The best known evidences could be found in ancient Vedas, and some small parts of that even in several religious books. I bet that even though Tolkien was Christian, he also had exctracted many ideas form other mystical and acient sources, or even forbidden sources (as he probably was a memeber of some secret society) to "lesser humans". Anyways, thank you Sir Tolkien
This is stunning. There's a collection of four notes throughout that match perfectly with Gil-Galad's song at the end of Rings of Power s2 when he sings 'Eldarië'. Just perfect.

I wrote a brief short story based on the concept art in the video. The white wizard gazes over Valinor at last. The sun is just over the horizon, and a long, crisp night waits for the dawn-the first glimpse of Valinor. Why would anyone stay up to see a city they’re meant to inhabit for eternity? The hope of seeing Valinor is enough to fill a man with joy unspeakable. It’s the unstoppable city. Little does the wizard know, he's about to be sent back out to establish Valinor in the dead lands. He arrives at the dock and steps onto the golden planks. No dents. Sturdy gold. He looks around and laughs. He’s free-from the pain of war, hunger, and turmoil. Only the pure of heart can be here. There’s an unusual calm, the stillness of hearts fully at rest. No one hiding behind closed doors, no secrets. Just peace. Everyone is connected by invisible strands. If you look closely enough, you can see how they’re all webbed together in perfect harmony. In this place, no one is unseen; everyone’s deepest motives are laid bare. No secrets. Everyone is completely intimate and trustworthy. How the wizard longs to be part of this. It took a long journey to purify himself enough to bear all, and he’s finally made it. It’s said that only the pure could complete the journey-or that the journey would purify them. The original translation is unclear. He gazes up, smiling. The path before him is complete. All that’s left is the golden ticket-his citizenship. All who make it to the dock are accepted. He walks toward the immigration desk, greeted by a warm smile. “I would like one passport,” he says. “No passports,” the man replies. “Only citizenship is allowed here. No immigrants, no passersby-only expats.” “Here you are,” the man says, handing him a document. “What is your name?” “Dorshmire Ironside.” “Well, good to have you! We’ve been waiting for you.” Dorshmire’s brow furrows. “What do you mean?” “We watch all who seek to come here.” Dorshmire stiffens. “Isn’t that odd?” he thinks. “I don’t like the idea of them watching me on my journey. I’m not a show.” The man stamps the citizenship and hands it over. “Welcome, brother.” Dorshmire pauses. It’s finally happened. He takes the document and walks on. Ahead of him, the archway to the city beckons. It’s so beautiful, he stops to stare. Minutes pass. An hour. Two hours. The sun rises higher, and Dorshmire stands like a sundial, mesmerized by the shifting light. The gems in the archway catch the sun, reflecting it in dazzling patterns as if the light itself is alive. The entire city is like a sundial. Here, the sun doesn’t rise and set in a traditional way. It moves in a circle-rising in the north, setting in the east, rising again in the west, and setting once more in the east. A perpetual dance of dawn and dusk. When the sun is at its highest, the sky glows blue, then drifts into purple, orange, and red before fading into darkness. The stars aren’t all white but come in many colors, like a festival tree back home. It’s breathtaking. Dorshmire set out on a life of purity, and it has paid off. He left home as a young man, embarked on countless adventures, and now, in his ripe age, he is finally at peace. A man in the finest robes walks out of the archway toward him. He is blonde, with a beard and hair that falls to his shoulders. He smiles warmly as he approaches. “I am Catidel. This is my palace,” the man says, hugging Dorshmire. “Who is this?” Dorshmire wonders, unsure whether to embrace him in return. “You’re the king!” Dorshmire exclaims, dropping to one knee. Catidel laughs heartily. “We don’t do that here. We’re all equal in the eyes of the palace.” Dorshmire is confused. “What could he mean by that?” “We’re all kings,” Catidel continues, his tone knowing. “Everyone’s a king?” Dorshmire asks. “If everyone is a king, then how does anyone lead?” Catidel smiles knowingly. “You’ve got a purified heart, but your mind still needs wisdom. In a city of pure hearts, all common knowledge is rubble. Follow me.” Catidel gestures for Dorshmire to follow him into the city. With anticipation building, Dorshmire steps over the threshold. He’s finally here-this is the life he’s dreamed of. Peace. As they walk, Dorshmire is greeted at every turn. Handshakes, hugs, congratulations-each new face offering love and warmth. It’s overwhelming. Catidel laughs, pulling him along. “Come on, we’ll have time for that later. We’re off to the palace!” Dorshmire smiles through the throng, feeling a love he’s never known. After a few minutes of struggling through the crowd, they reach the palace doors. A single drum beats, and the crowd falls silent. Dorshmire looks around, sensing something big is about to happen. Catidel turns, faces Dorshmire, and smiles. “You’re about to find out why you’re a king too.” “Me? A king?” Dorshmire asks, astonished. “Look around,” Catidel says. “We’re all kings.” With a gesture, Catidel raises his arms, and the crowd erupts into cheers, shouting, “Long live the kings! Long live the kings!” Catidel pulls open the palace doors with a dramatic creak. “Come in, and I’ll explain everything.” Dorshmire steps inside. Instantly, the doors slam shut behind him. It’s pitch dark, save for a few flickering torches where they stand. “What am I doing here?” Dorshmire asks. “You’re finding your authority,” Catidel replies. “What?” “All the authority of a king is shared among us, the thousands of residents. Now, it’s time to split it one more time.” “Authority? You mean all of it? What do you mean?” “Anything that would allow someone to impose their will on another,” Catidel says. “Oh, you mean all of it.” Dorshmire begins to understand. “So, some have authority over construction, and others over fishing?” “Yes, some have greater authority, others lesser. It’s based on dedication to their path and their gifts.” “Wow,” Dorshmire murmurs. “So, what are you in charge of?” “Touring. The king of touring!” Catidel laughs. “Not very grand, but it’s my role. Now it’s time to find out what yours is.” Catidel’s face grows serious. “Come.”

you know it's good when you get into a good mood and almost forget that you put it on to play
thank you for your service 🫡
This is really nice! Big fan of LOTR!!
The music is great, and the artwork is absolutely mesmerizing. A reverse image search doesn't turn up any hits. A link to wherever it originates from would really make my day😀
That image and music...It was one of my dreams bro...and I have achieved! bro, you were Santa Claus in my life, you gave me my dream...? (Crying of happiness)
Thanks, is the perfect ambient music for my reading.
"Death is just another path, one that we all must take"
Of course it is.
"I won't say don't cry, because not all tears are bitter."
This video invariably brings me a sense of complete tranquility. I am very grateful to you for creating and sharing!
Thanks mate 😊 I love creating them 😊❤️
@@Symbology-Cinematicsthank you for this sweet sad beautiful music. Today I found out a dear friend has passed away. I'm picturing him approaching the silver shores of Valinor. This is music to support grieving, much needed and much appreciated.
I need to re-read the Silmarillion to this.
Love it. Side note, the music reminds me of WoW, especially during the WotLK expansion.
i love it 😍 i send you all some positive vibes and good energy ✨
The sun sinks low, her orange rays shining through the Calacirya at eve. Already the lamps begin to twinkle on the now peaceful quays of Alqualonde.

Somedays I wish Middle Earth was real, what I would have given to head west to Valinor !
It is real , you just have to believe.
Middle Earth was inspired on the Earth.
How do you create such masterpieces?
Thanks mate ❤️ I really love creating music and these videos 😊
Deep relaxing with this one, I trying to add vocal to my own as well, thanks 🖤🤘🌹
Nice mate! They are really enjoyable in our music!
Nah you're a Legend!
(18:31) They shall dwell in the Gardens of Eternity, beneath which streams flow. There they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, will be arrayed in green garments of silk and rich brocade, and will recline on raised couches. How excellent is their reward, and how nice their resting-place!”

At long last, eh? The great irony being he's the only wizard to return. And Gandalf was ordered to leave, it wasn't his first choice.
this helped fall asleep thank you. And may the force be with you harry
Sounds like background music when I’m playing elf’s in WoW
No immigrants, no passersby-only expats.”
“Here you are,” the man says, handing him a document. “What is your name?”
“Dorshmire Ironside.”
“Well, good to have you! We’ve been waiting for you.”
Dorshmire’s brow furrows. “What do you mean?”
“We watch all who seek to come here.”
Dorshmire stiffens. “Isn’t that odd?” he thinks. “I don’t like the idea of them watching me on my journey. I’m not a show.” The man stamps the citizenship and hands it over.
“Welcome, brother.”
Dorshmire pauses.
We’re all equal in the eyes of the palace.”
Dorshmire is confused. “What could he mean by that?”
“We’re all kings,” Catidel continues, his tone knowing.
“Everyone’s a king?” Dorshmire asks.
“If everyone is a king, then how does anyone lead?”
Catidel smiles knowingly. “You’ve got a purified heart, but your mind still needs wisdom. In a city of pure hearts, all common knowledge is rubble. Follow me.”
Catidel gestures for Dorshmire to follow him into the city.
We’re off to the palace!”
Dorshmire smiles through the throng, feeling a love he’s never known. After a few minutes of struggling through the crowd, they reach the palace doors. A single drum beats, and the crowd falls silent.
Dorshmire looks around, sensing something big is about to happen.
Catidel turns, faces Dorshmire, and smiles.
“You’re about to find out why you’re a king too.”
“Me? A king?” Dorshmire asks, astonished.
“Look around,” Catidel says. “We’re all kings.”
With a gesture, Catidel raises his arms, and the crowd erupts into cheers, shouting, “Long live the kings! Long live the kings!”
Catidel pulls open the palace doors with a dramatic creak.
“Come in, and I’ll explain everything.”
Dorshmire steps inside. Instantly, the doors slam shut behind him. It’s pitch dark, save for a few flickering torches where they stand.
“What am I doing here?” Dorshmire asks.
“You’re finding your authority,” Catidel replies.
“What?”
“All the authority of a king is shared among us, the thousands of residents. Now, it’s time to split it one more time.”
“Authority? You mean all of it? What do you mean?”
“Anything that would allow someone to impose their will on another,” Catidel says.
“Oh, you mean all of it.”
Dorshmire begins to understand. “So, some have authority over construction, and others over fishing?”
“Yes, some have greater authority, others lesser. It’s based on dedication to their path and their gifts.”
“Wow,” Dorshmire murmurs.
“So, what are you in charge of?”
“Touring. The king of touring!” Catidel laughs. “Not very grand, but it’s my role. Now it’s time to find out what yours is.”
Catidel’s face grows serious.
“Come.”
absolutely loving these LotR ambient tracks! perfect mood after finishing Rings of Power season 2

RoP is dogshit
Lord may I sleep good to night
Okay, fair point, but at the end, don't you miss the prancing pony ale and hobbits long diner tables ? Hmm ? I would
From where is that image? I would love to have it as a wallpaper 😍
Beautiful work, how do you make music like this? I'd love to have a go, would you mind sharing the software you use?

Gandalf for president !.
Thank you 🙏🌈💖
🤗
World was beautiful. now is the lie... i wish to go soon, an no return, ever. 🙏🙏 Just see those pastures and don't annoy anyone else. All the good ones wait me above. bad ones make me suffer here, in pain and silence. 💔💔 I am tired of thrones, crowns and unsincere uber women and bloody men. See you in the other side🙏🙏🙏📿
this is beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
🙏☀
What are those spikes?
