Bottle bottle nipples say not to leave in direct sunlight or place into high temperatures because it can cause the silicone to break down and become a choking hazard. Im unsure why boiling them would be safe. My baby was born today and we cannot find steriliser fluid anywhere and we dont want to boil them for this reason. The instructions with the bottle say not to do this.
If u we’re to boil the bottle then put milk in it right after “maybe” but not if u let it completely cool and wash by hand once more for extra precaution there should be NO problems

Hi, can we boil and sterilize the glass bottles? I did hear u saying this method works for glass bottles too but won’t the glass ones break while boiling?
Bottles need to be washed after each use. You should sterilize bottles, nipples, pacifiers, etc. at least once daily. Sanitizing is especially important when your baby is younger than 2 months, was born prematurely, or has a weakened immune system.
That’s a good question. I wonder if the white coat is from hard water deposits? I think that could be a possibility? Vinegar should be able to help with that. Soak bottle in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, and then rinse with cold water, I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
I had this issue once when, using Zephyrhills bottled water, the calcium composite in the water creates a white coat when boiled best you use distilled water when boiling

Absolutely! Glass bottles are my fave + preferred! Glass all the way - they should not break/crack.
Baby bottles manufacturers usually advise to put the glass bottles in the water when the water is cold/lukewarm and then boil the water
