      @@johnjohnson1588 i was high as shit back then, its incredible how much a couple doses of shrooms did to me, im a saner more moderate person, last time i schlonked weed was like many months ago, i got a job and stopped sleeping 19 hours a day. Truly a mind altering experience that likely saved me from certain doom. Have a good day, friend, and i hope it didnt hurt when it came out your nose, i know it may be painful some times.

    Placing sterilised items on a drying rack eliminates the sterilising process as the rack itself may have germs... Bottles can be closed with the water mist in them, that water is sterile.

      What about you need 13 bottles for a 36 hours long journey is the water still safe ?

    • @ivan7291
      @ivan7291 Рік тому

      @@mauvraasfandyar5483no, it’s not safe to close the bottles without drying them first, depending on the room temperature bacteria will grow in the water relatively fast as the bottles are not hermetically closed, I wouldn’t use them after 24 hours if they weren’t dried before closing them. The safest way is to use a sterilizer that dries the bottles after sterilizing them but they are more expensive. If you have a healthy baby you can just let them dry on the rack, just keep the rack clean as well.

  • @KingKatura

    see i always just bought new ones, But i'm wandering if boiling water causes more plastic to leech out? Something i never thought of before until watching this years later lol ; If you really want to sterilize them though id use Destilled water instead of tap water, as tap water has alot of bad stuff in it, especially when your boiling it.

    • @Ninialiindaaa08

      King Katura
      I have to agree. Use distilled water. Tap water leaves limescale, that white, chalky residue left behind by dissolved minerals (mostly calcium and magnesium). The higher the concentration of minerals in your water, the “harder” your water is. If you don’t have a water softener, your safest bet is distilled water. Blessed day 🙏🏻

    You only need to sterilize when the bottles are new. If they have already been used, you don't need to sterilize them any more, or you can do it less frequently like once a week. It's important to wash bottles after every use with hot water and regular soap. It's an American thing, some parents have gone nuts and sterilize after every use and buy expensive sterilizers, and special baby soaps 🤦.

    • @rosegoldflower4821
      @rosegoldflower4821 Рік тому +7

      Stop giving poor advice. It is important to sterilize baby bottles before each use. It's very easy for germs to deposit themselves on the bottles. Soap isn't enough to kill certain germs, hence the process of sterilizing being used every single time. You don't want your baby to get sick from swallowing germs.

    • @normaligara8456
      @normaligara8456 Рік тому +1

      It's definitely not an American thing. I sterilize after every use and so do everyone I know in my country and we're not Americans. It's just being cautious for a piece of mind.

    See I always wash mine out then boil every time they get dirty. So a couple times a day, however on my bottles I use they have like a white film there still? Is that normal? Or maybe because I’ve boiled them too much? It’s on the inside on the top and on the bottom inside of the bottles.

    • @Babylist-Videos
      @Babylist-Videos  5 років тому +2

      We did a little digging for you. It’s possible the film is caused simply because you have hard water! It’s not necessarily harmful to continue using the bottles, but if you’d like to try and shake that film, you could try a vinegar solution. Here’s a how-to: www.ehow.com/how_12125923_remove-film-baby-bottles.html

      Such a good question! We checked with the CDC and they said: "If you use a dishwasher with hot water and a heating drying cycle (or sanitizing setting) to clean infant feeding items, a separate sanitizing step is not necessary." Here's more on that: www.cdc.gov/healthywater/hygiene/healthychildcare/infantfeeding/cleansanitize.html Hope that helps!
