You could have done your harvest 1 month before you did your harvest with the same exact yield. This means You plant corn in April. Chaff it in Aug. Plant Grass in Aug, Harvest Grass in Nov (roll your grass in November after harvesting it). Harvest your grass again in April and replant corn in april. This means you will get a corn harvest and 2 grass harvests a year on the same field.
I found the HAWE SUW 5000 Auger Wagon very useful for doing chaff as it can hook and function on the back of forage harvester but is good for running alongside as I just fill unload into a truck parked nearby and return instead of hoofing it back to the bunker silo.
Hi buddy....New to fs22 ....and thanks to you, it's become uncomplicated ....Great videos and really easy to follow...so cheers for that....oh and that's a great accent you've got....thanks again Neil .....
Just as an FYI, it's more profitable to sell corn at $1100 (or more) per 1000L than feed it to the pigs. You can buy pig food for $900 per 1000L and that fills all the requirements for pigs. So on corn alone you come out about $200 per 1000L ahead, not accounting for the other crops the pigs need. And how are you getting such a high price for Corn, I get about 800-1200 dollars per 1000L....
The forage harvesters should become a lot more manageable with stuff like Autodrive, Course Play or AI Vehicle Extender, thankfully enough. Very disappointing that even after so many years they never bothered to adjust the helper in such a way that it can unload harvesters...
Well, for console players without those tools, Forage Harvesting is quite manageable. Use 2 of those Forage Wagons with the Augers, one on the FH, and another to cart. Set the FH to AI driving, and you manually cart. Pickup chaff from the FH, and put it in trucks waiting off the field. When the trucks are full, use new FS22 AI to run them to the bunker. Yes, the FH will fill up at times and stop, because you still need to manually unload the trucks in the bunker yourself, but its much much better than before. In FS19 on console, FHing was painfully slow and inefficient. Lol, so is baling, and with the 200 bale limit still in place, console players don't have as many choices as PC as usual - however Forage HArvesting I think is now better than grass silage, for console players only - due to the operational time requirements.
Yes to the grain unless your using a mod that prohibits it. As to the second question do which ever you want although I think I recall Corn does require plowing if you want to maximize yield. I don't like plowing thus I don't do it.
Hello again. After harvesting the corn field, how do you prep it for the next harvest? Also would like to know that about many different crops. Thank you
how long it takes for corn to be ready to harvest? Please make a video showing how to use workers. How to have them load and unload in your own silo for the cows.thanks
You mentioned using wider tires and that they don’t cause as much compaction. Does FS22 actually account for compaction or are you just making a comment about typical farming practices?
@@FarmerKlein it looks like it goes pretty high I’ll have to give it a shot. I’ve never done the chaff because it looks like it is a pain to harvest like sugarcane.
Question, I want to use my John Deere forage harvester, and I would like to get some corn done after I chop it I can sell that correct? And second question is I’m cutting grass how and where do I sell my grass kind a new at this game
Check out my how to playlist or FS22 ua-cam.com/play/PLBu5F0DqyhKGwi-ZEgLkS_ZjjxxJguFwH.html If you use a forage harvester you will get chaff not corn so you need to use a regular harveseter if you want corn.
hey at the begining you said you cant plant anything without seed thats false though.. grapes you plant from a grape vine in construction in this game.. not seeds..
It's kind of odd that chickens don't take corn, as that is a majority of sold chickens for food.

@@dansiegel995 Sounds like a decent workaround for consoles at least.
Can you put more than 1 type of grain in a single silo? Plow or cultivate after harvest?

All of that is covered in various video just like ths one in my how to playlist for Farming Simulator 22.

Compaction does not exist in FS22 at this point.
I had no idea that trailer lifted up like that. What would you use that function for?
Unload directly into the BGA digester or anything else that would normally be lifted up and require a bucket...
Also useful to stack chaff higher in bunker silo
@@FarmerKlein I was also thinking it would be helpful to hook it up to the forege harvester and unload into another trailer to run it to the bunker.
@@aceplaysgamesnetwork9566 ya if you can get it up over the trailer side sure. all kinds of uses.

You forgot to mention the Meridan Storage Container mod for those that want to store single crop types per silo and a multi-fruit variant too.
na, didnt forget I typically dont reference mods in these videos as any mod referenced could be replaced by another one that is 'better' tomorrow.
The best planter is the great plains yp2425a
hey at the begining you said you cant plant anything without seed thats false though.. grapes you plant from a grape vine in construction in this game.. not seeds..
And Olives, and Poplar and Trees. The video is about Corn thus seed is needed.
Hows this everything you need when you dont even talk about how to bail the stuff afterwards
there is no baling of corn stalks in the base game
Hey i bought the same planter before i watched this
Yur great
Is he color blind?
Yes.
