The Dan Wesson is a premier find! Big bucks. Ruger is a MK1 22, also a decent find as is the Remington 700. Hint, clear a gun by dropping the mag, then cycle the action!
That Nylon 66 may not look like much, but it is a GREAT rifle for plinking. I had one 50 years ago, it was pretty much just "point & shoot," tons of fun! Remington 700 was what the military used for a sniper rifle for many years, renowned for its accuracy. Mossberg 500 has a reputation as one of the most reliable self-defense shotguns. Not to mention all the other cool "trinkets" in that safe, I'd say you did all right there!
20:52 That's a Remington Nylon 66. Made from the 1950s into the 1980s or so. They are nice, lightweight. 22 plinkers with a decent following among shooters. The main complaint I have is that they load through the stock, which slows down the plinking action! I like being able to swap out magazines, much faster.
Hey locker nuts! You can buy a pick kit for those type of locks from The lock picking lawyer, they are super neat. And then you could sell the safe, too!
The flip out on the black powder rifle is a patch box. You keep extra flints for flintlocks and extra nipples for percussion rifles. Usually a bullet puller, a worming tool and some patches, hence ‘patch box’. The black stock is a survival .22 rifle all stored in the stock. Nice finds! Especially the Dan Wesson .44 and the Woodsman .22.
The Remington Nylon 66 is a classic .22 plinker from the 60s -- I had one as a kid -- practically indestructible, butt tube feed, fires .22 shorts, longs, LR rounds. You should keep this gem.
Nice collection, the Dan Wesson is its own company that is separate from Smith and Wesson. They make decent pistols; it appears that the one you have is a bit older. The Mossberg shotgun appears to be a slug gun used for deer hunting and it may have a rifled barrel, I would definitely check that out. The Nylon 66 is a 22 Caliber rifle and some of them can fetch decent money if they are a rarer color as they made several different colors over the course of their manufacturing. The Remington 700 seems nice but appears to be an ADL variety without the cartridge drop on the bottom, but I can't be sure.
Like a bunch of other people said the thing you thought was just about stock is a survival rifle with all of the components inside of the stock it was missing the cap on the end of the buttstock. And the Nylon 66 needs a little bit of cleanup but it's a relatively increasing in value rifle probably worth $350 even in the condition it is
The toolbox the 1st metal box you pulled out & wondered what it was. It's a dent puller for like pulling dents out of a vehicle. Also the black plastic gun stock is a backpacking 22LR rifle. Everything comes apart & goes into the stock so it can go into a backpack. When you showed the end of it I saw the slots. I also have 1 too but mine is silver.
Boring??? Not even CLOSE!! I was even able to get my husband to watch you open the gun safe! He was saying what they were just as you were pulling them out. This was a great video!
As a UK resident I always find the fascination for guns and rifles outside of farming and sport a little puzzling. I can just picture a neighbour over here seeing you with all those guns laid out dialling 999. The Police responce would be epic! Good to see you make sure they are all safe.
04:52 I bet the mummified mouse would sell at the market.(LOL) Or make a good cat toy; Luna says so! 17:14 That's a wall-hanger if I ever saw one. Maybe somebody dug it up? The next gun was black powder with a patch box in the gun butt. Jack liked the bang-bangs, but went gaga for the old games.
On the Dan Wesson, you open the cylinder by pulling down on the latch just forward of the cylinder on the left side of the revolver. The black powder rifle: the box on the rear of the stock is called a 'patch box', you'd keep precut patches in there for loading round ball projectiles. The black stock is an Armalite AR7, a .22lr caliber break down survival rifle. The stock assembly is supposed to float, but probably shouldn't test that out. The Nylon 66 was Remington's foray into lightweight, inexpensive semi auto .22 rifles back in the 60s. The entire stock assembly was made from hardened Nylon. They're very reliable, but given the age, the Nylon stock is going to be fragile. No idea what that black powder revolver is.
I got a Remington Nylon 66 rifle for my 13th birthday, Just turned 60 in May and still have it, fun little rifle, like everything else take care of it and it will last, I bet I have put no less the 10K rounds through it.
I'm not sure if this is the right video to answer your "What is it?", but the narrow strips of leather with the two buttons are called "keepers". They are used to "keep" the utility belt (which holds the many tools needed in a variety of jobs) connected to the pant belt.
For future adventures in safe cracking , if there is a key its much easier to pick one of those locks than you would think and if your going to drill it out go from the big bit you were using to a stepper bit so you can see the release behind the lock... But my first choice would always be to pick the lock...
Hilarious! Oh California. Muzzle loader season in the Rockies is a BFD my friend. It starts in September when the mountain weather is perfect the elk rut and the aspen trees turn gold, a magical cultural time to get into the woods with your buds and family to camp and fill your freezer with meat before ski season.I look at that black powder muzzle loader and see a good time or realistically a $500 bill because I hunt elk with a bow. Enjoy your profits.
The muzzleloaders and rifles are worth alot more then you may think and worth more then other's have said.. The nylon 66 is in the 500 plus the 700 depending on caliber 1000 plus the muzzleloader most likely is 350 plus and so on.. The muzzleloader pistol looks like a 1853 navy replace.. Great score.. God Bless JDAS
Black box is a slide hammer, I like the way you handled the noise makers. You was serious but calm. Wish you all the luck in your future finds. That way I have good content to watch. Just get you oil out and oil down the noise makers.
I know nothing about guns. But I loved how enthusiast you are, your zombie jokes, and the contrast between guns and the cat tshirt you have on. I am curious how you will sell all these guns and the prices.
I enjoy your excitement, do wonder what the destination of all those weapons will be, too old for gaming excitement, & don't do live auctions (minimal tech skills at my age). On an aside, with your folks' schedule, who has the time to mow the lawn?!
Jack if you will put some lubricant or a bit of oil on your drill bits it will make them work better and not dull as fast. Just an unsolicited tip subscriber.
As a fellow Brit has mentioned, we find it difficult to understand how you and other locker buyers get so excited over finding guns. Definitely one of those culture differences. What I'd like to know is how you sell them? Obviously there must be money in guns, ammo and other weapons, otherwise they wouldn't be considered such a big score, but you can't sell them through your usual routes of Whatnot, eBay or Marketplace, so how do you go about valuing and selling them? Are their specialist auctions and auction houses that handle these kinds of sales?
Not really interested in video games and I own one weapon I only need one. It is your attitude... it makes you so happy when you find things that's what I like.
Another great video of wonderful finds. The guns were very nice. Glad your "banger" sale went well. It's so nice that gamers are getting these great games to play, maybe for the first time. Just please get maximum value on these as they are rare finds as you know.

Hey, at 16 min. the gun Butt is actually an old Henry survival .22 cal rifle. the whole gun is stored in the Butt stock.

"..when you go hunting zombies". That got a belly laugh from me
I think that gun stock is a survival 22 ,everything should be enclosed within
AR-7
Hey locker nuts! You can buy a pick kit for those type of locks from The lock picking lawyer, they are super neat. And then you could sell the safe, too!
They sold a bunch of the Remington Nylon 66 rifles...beginning 22 rifle built on plastic stock. Neat find.
The flip out on the black powder rifle is a patch box. You keep extra flints for flintlocks and extra nipples for percussion rifles. Usually a bullet puller, a worming tool and some patches, hence ‘patch box’. The black stock is a survival .22 rifle all stored in the stock. Nice finds! From stiff mouse to burgers on the grill. You've go a stronger stomach than I do, Jack!
😅my thoughts too.😂

Jebus is going to be jealous.
Yes he is!!!

The stick you pulled out of locker is a full blown 22 rifle in the stock
Can't believe what he sold the NYLON 66 for....those got for between 3-600 depending on condition

The badly rusted gun is an Army, black powder, revolver from the Civil War era.
Wow! That Remington hunting rifle is beautiful I have one similar. You should definitely keep that one Jack. Great video.
Hi Jack! It would be best to get some estimates/appraisals on those guns. What I saw was more money than you might think.
Holy crap! $21,000! Good for y’all! I’m forwarding this video to my friend who’s husband loves antique guns. Such a find!
On the Dan Wesson, you open the cylinder by pulling down on the latch just forward of the cylinder on the left side of the revolver.

5:05 "I don't know what that is" Looks like a slide hammer used for pulling dents out of panels and similar?
You my friend ,are very Blessed . Just keep living the dream and doing what you love ❤️
that stock is a survival 22. ,barrel and action in stock

The Remington 7 series rifles had a major recall, for all rifles firing as the safety switch was moved to safe.
Luna - 😂 😂 😂
AWESOME video! Congratulations on the milestones. 👏🏻 The rifle is a keeper. You're set for the zombie apocalypse. 😂
I’m with you Jack. Any time I don’t pay for dump fees is a good day. Our waste company picks up 2x a year any bulky items like mattresses and sofas.
For future adventures in safe cracking , if there is a key its much easier to pick one of those locks than you would think and if your going to drill it out go from the big bit you were using to a stepper bit so you can see the release behind the lock... Can’t wait to watch the latest episode 👍🇬🇧
Did you end up selling that black powder rifle?
The joy in your oohhhh when you finally got it opened
Hilarious! Oh California. Muzzle loader season in the Rockies is a BFD my friend. I wouldn't clean any of those guns at all until you have them looked at by someone.

The rusted gun...could be an old Colt....very collectible
That shotguns a keeper. Needs to stay with you. Also the rifle
Belt keepers in basketweave. So was handcuff case. I’m a retired cop, maybe he was too. The .44 is sweet

Wow, so happy you did so well in your live auction.😮
I enjoy your excitement, do wonder what the destination of all those weapons will be, too old for gaming excitement, & don't do live auctions (minimal tech skills at my age). On an aside, with your folks' schedule, who has the time to mow the lawn?!
WOW great gun box, Jack. Congratulations on your milestones
Your editing on this video is cool.. It was exciting watching you open the safe & bam it was full of t treasure.
That was a great reveal and certainly well worth the purchase value.
Better check that Remington, they had a recall on them because they would discharge by themselves
Jack if you will put some lubricant or a bit of oil on your drill bits it will make them work better and not dull as fast. Just an unsolicited tip subscriber.

It’s a .22 stock load nylon case. Also have a couple of those. They are decent.
Actually a lot of people still use black powder guns to hunt here in Missouri we have a special black powder season
Not really interested in video games and I own one weapon I only need one. It is your attitude... it makes you so happy when you find things that's what I like.
The "machine gun" parts you found in a box earlier look like parts to an early Sten gun, especially the butt.
I’ve got 3 of those Ruger .22 auto pistols. Very nice little piece.
Mossberg 500 (I just acquired one) field model about $300-$500 used
Daddy's clippin' zombies!!
Gunbroker or gunspot like ebay plus you can vingear soak to break free rust might take a while
Another great video of wonderful finds. The guns were very nice. Glad your "banger" sale went well. It's so nice that gamers are getting these great games to play, maybe for the first time. Just please get maximum value on these as they are rare finds as you know.
Awesome safe! It is like Christmas!
The Remington, with scope, should be over $1000.00!
It’s an 1850s military gun and it can be completely restored to a collector
DO NOT CLEAN THE GUNS.
TAKE THEM TO GET APPRAISED AS IS.
CLEANIMG THE. REDUCES THE VALUE.
A COLLECTOR WILL RESTORE CORRECTLY
Nice finds
A video that's the top ..what super finds and sales..wtg😮❤
I had that same calculator in 1983...lol
