I would like to buy some of this stuff
ok this storge unit is amazing
1:03:15 GRENADE
AT 46:20 that was an ammo assemble cate that is used to make your own ammo
51:13 that item is a tool you need to use to help assemble ammo
I am so proud that you give back awards, pictures, and personal items to families. I really think every storage sell should honor in their policy that the family gets those things back but I know you and Amber go over and beyond to do this and I just say “Thank you”. I so respect both of you so much for doing this.
Отдавая семейные ценности хозяину, остаешься человеком, и Всевышний обязательно тебя в 10 раз вознаградит
I used to manage storage facilities. We try to return items to the original owners, but they don't always come to get their stuff because they think they'll have to pay. ONCE YOUR UNIT IS AUCTIONED, YOU GET YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY BACK. YOU MUST PICK UP WITHIN 60 DAYS, TYPICALLY.
Pulls out a chalk plum line and says do you see the dust on that lol 😂
Made me chuckle too.
bruhhhh, i was like how in tf do you not know what a chalk line is, and the compressor and he didnt even know what the wall hooks were...guy lives under a rock or somethin lol
Kids today....
This guy lives on a couch playin vid games ,never did a day of work in the field
They call them tingle lines in the uk... there used to be a specific job called a tingleman
there was a lockpick gun in the toolbox. learn to use it to get into safes without breaking them
This is exactly what I came to say and what keeps driving me nuts
It drives me insane that he doesn't know what anything is.
Bro could have paid a professional to open the safes and resold them. A lot of safes aren't that hard to bypass.
@TheMidLifeCrisis817 Yea, same toughts.
I've seen some good stuff in there and he didn't recognize any of it.
About the safes, every safe with a tubular lock is extremely easy to open with some lockpicktools.
@@code187jwt and it only takes around 10 minutes to learn to rake a lock with the most rudimentary picks and a tension bar. That pick gun is easy mode.
As a military man, I could have told you there were not going to be any guns in that unit. If they were ever there, they were moved out before he went past due
He's found guns before
@@tanyasmits2157 If he founds guns, it's because that person was not able to retrieve them before it went past due. Trust me. The government will want the gun, ammo, and equipment back....Unless you are Joe Biden
Man I would never keep any weapons in a storage locker. Not even knives. Storage lockers are for junk you dont have room at home for. I am always surprised when anything is found of significant value.
The original owner was an Army senior NCO (Sergeant First Class or Master Sergeant). The first award you found was a Bronze Star. He was a paratrooper given the lowering line you found in one of the bags (used to lower your equipment before you land). At least that's what it looked like by the glimpse I got of that line. The case at the end verified that. He MAY have been military police judging by some of the other stuff you found in there that point to law enforcement. OR a medic given the medical stuff in there (or a combat lifesaver).
Don't worry about the Government Property markings. The military sells stuff off with great frequency.
The bag with poles in it is either an antenna or camo net poles. There may be parts in the bottom of that bag that will determine what it is.
Honestly, some of this stuff he should have turned in before getting out of the Army. Or, he bought it afterward. The black cases up high in back are pretty commonly purchased by military folks to store or ship their stuff around - beats a duffle bag. I have a different model, and that is where most of my military stuff is stashed.
Some of the holsters and the first helmet you found are not US. The field phone made me chuckle. I haven't seen that particular model, but have seen others from the Soviet era. Hey, they still work!
I'm glad you send the personal stuff to the person who rented the unit. There's a story in all that stuff, because it's not likely that he would have left some of those things.
Also had some Israeli training rounds as well. An odd collection for sure.
I was going to say I've never seen anyone retire as a staff sergeant.. After 21 years he'd have to be at 1st Sgt
My dad was in the Army from 1957 to 1981.
A lot of stuff you're finding brings back memories of growing up on different Army bases. ❤
🤗 ❤
Thank him for his service
That weird language on the wooden box is Hebrew from Israel
I think if you could hire a lock smith cheap enough you could open those safes up , get the combinations and then sell the safes for a profit!
I agree, some safes, especially older ones are often worth ten times more than the contents they hold.... he destroys too fast and too much, and the way he treats books bothers me too.... but then again, I am a former book dealer. HOWEVER, over all they are great, and I am so thrilled for them when they get a good unit...they do so much for charity.
Or he could get the lock picking lawyer on UA-cam to open them up and it would be good for both of them for their UA-cam channels
@@CurtisJackReynoldsthat giy wouldn’t be able to get into those without a keyhole

Thanks for giving that back to the Veteran, judging from the two medals you showed he was a bronze star recipient who served in Iraq
The top one is a Afghanistan service campaign medal.
Sad that he lost his stuff. He received a lot of medals and awards....Nice that you gave things back.
Jebus- from an RN with back issues-DO NOT LIFT WITH YOUR BACK. Lift with your legs, hold your back upright.❤
Your right about lifting, if he had stuf in the box to make them heavy. 😂😂
Are you joking? At 270, his knees will give out first. 😊
Sounds like you've never deadlifted
They taught me to put weight on my legs in the nursing home now both knees are out!
Almost all military gear is marked Government Property when manufactured, because it is built on an exclusive contract for the military, it does not indicate that it can't be possessed by anyone else. The military sells lots and lots of items as surplus. Most larger bases have something called the DRMO office (that is what they used to call it) that sells surplus military equipment to anyone who wants to buy it, typically the public is allowed to go to those.
You can't take guns nor clips the owner bought the guns outside the military so it'd fair game to sell
I was a field medic during Vietnam, that burn bag was a very important part of my gear! 👍
Welcome home 🇺🇸 thank you for your service 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service!
Thank you for your service and GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL WHO SERVED.
If this is offensive, sorry, but how old are you to have served in vietnam?
I,m not offended. I'm 71 yrs young!
Ive been watching you for a long time! I love watching your wealth and family grow. I enjoy you so much. Your son is such a perfect little man. You both look great too. Take care and thank you!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it, and glad you enjoy the storage unit videos!
At 13:00 that's the lower handguard for an AK, commonly referred to as an "AK Dong" for....obvious reasons.
14:35 that's an AK upper handguard with the gas tube
30:15 those are brackets used in framing roofs.
35:09 That's a muzzle cap, it prevents dirt, mud, and other debris from entering the muzzle of your rifle without preventing it from being fired, believe it or not they just fly right off when you shoot and have no chance of harming the rifle.
You are a great person for helping return the military items back to the owner.
I really appreciate the "look at eBay for pricing" segments, as it shows you're not just pulling figures out of your ass like some other "storage wars" UA-camrs.
It's Google image finder
He is when he says a metal mag is 20 or 30 bucks and wolf steel case for a buck a round
The thing in the white box in the drawer of the toolbox is a lock pick device, you should check it out before you get rid of it that might save you aggravation opening things in the future!
Great idea
The red-and-white scarf, is a shumāgh, its a variation of the keffiyeh, a traditional Arab headdress, that is commonly worn by members of the Bedouin community and in Jordan.
Ah, so almost definitely something from overseas. Makes sense with this storage unit
Ex military...I have one.
Is there a story behind it? I know with hajabs I think, to give one to someone is like a sign of love/respect. Something like that, I read it somewhere but I might be wrong on some details @@Jean-sv6kk
That was entertaining, guy seemed like he had a long and fullfilling career.
A rare earth magnet could have opened the white safe and maybe the other small safe too. You would make more money selling the undamaged safes than the meager contents you found

That item you pulled out of the same tote as the packaged holster is a chalk line, used for marking straight lines in construction.
Cool, lots of good money makers in this storage unit
You can also call it: Something to make someone laugh, when they know what it is, what it does and what it’s called… and you say that it’s old and dusty ⁉️
PRICELESS ‼️
Be glad you don’t have to subtract that from your Total Value ticker, because laughter is Close to Pricele$$🤣🤣🤣
It’s a “slap line” connect to one side, walk out to your mark, put it down, lift the line up and let it slap the ground/material for a straight line. Roofers use these lots
@@nickloveman6451 That's not what it's called. It's called a chalk line and is used in all kinds of construction where you need to lay down a straight line. I dare you to google slap line and you won't find a thing.
A lot of folks leaving really nasty comments. FYI a lot of times when we PCS housing isn’t ready right away and we have to go to temp housing, our house hold goods end up getting stored and it’s not always in a government facility and not always in the shipping crates they start out in. Sometimes when we retire/separate our household goods sit in storage for a few months while we relocate and find a new job and home (up to a year). It usually happens when we PCS overseas somewhere that we aren’t allowed to take all our stuff so the belongings get broken up in to two shipments. One gets stored for 1-2yrs, the other is supposed to arrive shortly after we do at our destination.
In either case the contracted movers regularly lose our belongings. They don’t actually lose them though. They put some or all of our stuff in a civilian self storage place sometimes, occasionally not in shipping crates, and somehow forget where they left it.
We come back stateside or call to have or post retirement PCS completed and that’s when we find out half our stuff is GONE! The military branch has no explanation because it’s the contractors fault. The packing contractor isn’t to blame cause they sent it all, the receiving contractor isn’t to blame because obviously not everything arrived. It’s just a whole bunch of finger pointing. And none of the three can say where anything was stored either.
This man has a MoH and obtained Sgt Maj. He didn’t get there being a scum bag. The majority of those cases were empty, he took em home empty. See things like that (back packs, obsolete Kevlar, ammo pouches, etc) are considered perishable in the military. Once the item is written off the case is trash.
I doubt seriously they lost that unit for non payment. It’s more likely that lowest bidder shit movers sent one guy over to pack a 3-4 berm house alone over 2 days. Dude just threw shit into anything he could find, bundled up totes that were already packed and stacked shit for the truck. (I had movers pack two bags of garbage and my purse with car keys and passports. Luckily the box with my purse and the passports was still staged in the house. Discovered the garbage 16 months later when we returned stateside.) Then part of their stuff went to a 2yr duty station and this stuff was lost in shipping when they got back stateside.
What is PCS? Is that like DTS?

The stocks you found are for a m249 SAW. The black metal pieces with the allen wrenches are gas blocks for rifles.
3:45 Is a chalk line(don't know what is called but). If you were going to a build a wall, you stretch it out (tight) on floor , go to middle, pick it up a few inches then let go. It marks(in chalk) a straight line.

Damn, straight from the terrorists!
The Apple Pie jar was what was once moonshine. The Black plastic things are dust covers to go over the flash hider on a M16 rifle. The "weird looking bullets" are blank rounds for the M16. The black Aardvark Tactical things are caltrops. They are used to deflate tires.

"Man, did you see the dust come off of that measuring tool?" “That musta been in here a long long time!“😂😂
Its called a chalk line and thats chalk not dust. Used to mark straight lines on hard surfaces like concrete. Pull the string to one end of where the line goes and another person holds the container at the other end while you both pull the string tight, just above the floor and then snap the line to make a perfect chalk line. My dad used to install carpeting before he got his own flooring store and he had a few of those in his toolbox.
The small black plastic caps are to go on the end of rifles to keep them dry in the rain.
The box at minute 46:00, it's written in Hebrew, it's M-203 grenade practice ammunition. It's a 40mm. The grenade launcher is mounted on a rifle.
That has to be the MOST expensive storage unit I ever heard of. I hope you find the best treasures!!! 🎉
3:39 That's not dust, that's chalk. Because what you have in your hand there is a chalk line.
The chalk line is the ideal tool for creating an exactly straight line over a longer distance. Working with long rails or rulers is not very advantageous with a cutting length of over 5 metres. This is why the chopping line is used.
Loving seeing this storage unit, history and man/woman of honour. Salute to you both for returning personal property. 😊

One thing you have to understand about the military is that it is hard wired into them to take care of and protect their weapons. @@LadyDragonsblood I think its helpful when we point out things too. Once you are told once, its easy to recognize those pieces when you come across them again. I have been reselling vintage for almost 13 years now and I have learned so much. The "weird looking bullets" you found were fired rounds that he likely found on the ground. They were likely fired from an aircraft and hit the ground and that's why they're slightly deformed.
The "hand linker/delinker" you found is a tool used to link together .50 cal ammunition for belt fed machine guns. Clipping the rounds into the links is difficult, so you use that tool to do it.
The green-tip rounds aren't tracers. They're penetrator rounds. Not armor piercing, but basically just able to penetrate body armor/etc.

this video was quite interesting and its cool that you are giving stuff back to the vet
The chalk liner "you see the dust come off it" 😂😂 i can't
9:44 Haven't finished looking at your video. But the chalk line is used to lay out straight lines in carpentry. The "ammo cans" have alot of uses since their waterproof and dust proof. All the dehydrated and canned food, cans, med stuff, makes me think home made prepper kits in the making. His left over gear makes me think he might have been an MP. THE Black plastic caps are for muzzle covers for M16's, we could in a pinch shoot thru them in an emergency, they were used to keep dust/muck out of the bores in unfriendly environments.
Btw, those aluminum poles might also be mast sections for what was called a ground plane antenna RS-292, but I dont see as well anymore you might be right about tent pole or camoflage netting supports.
Good luck on getting your money back. Love the treasure hunting..
I have to laugh a little... everytime Jeebus says "I don't know what these are for" to the black plastic spacers and then they pan to a shelf in the back... they are the spacers for the shelves.
The guy who owned the unit was probably a supply Sgt which is why he had access to all of the boxes and stuff you found, and those rounds with the green tips are mil issued 5.56 green tips

Some of those rails for the ar15 are probably knights armament which means they are worth decent money, I saw you pull the covers out of a box with the knights logo. The stocks at 57:00 are stocks for a SAW

The big black plastic barrel is a water collection kit usually connected to homes downspout. That funny looking bullet is a 5.56 blank however you still need a piece that screws onto the end of the guns barrel.
As they're trying to break open the safes, I keep thinking in my head. Use that ax you found at the beginning of the video. There's a reason firefighters carry axes to break in places.
Thanks, that was an exciting storage unit. Glad you take care to get the personal stuff back to the soldier. Don't know if I would want them to know who sent it, especially had there been the guns which he probly sold before abandoning the unit. Still a load of money to be had!
Might suggest instead of saying "army stuff" you might say "military surplus". Which covers things from other countries and other branches of the military. Pretty cool Jebus can ID magazines and most ammo by sight.

The black plastic cups are Barrel Caps. We put them on the end of our Barrels so dirt, sand and rocks don't get inside the Barrel of the M4. You shoot right through them when you engage the enemy.
I was really rooting for you guys. Sorry it wasn't the storage unit you thought it would be. But still you will make your money back and the vid was great guys. Better luck on the next one 👍🏼
