Hi Jack. My husband is Diabetic and we have use that size syringe for insulin. Maybe they were too?. Love watching all your video. The train lockers were amazing, also the 6 or more lockers you bought from the estate. AND THEN THERE WAS THE Hawaii locker. Scuse my lousey typing. May God continue bless you and yours.
And, thennn comment. AllRiighht! Merry Christmas, or as we say in Hawaii" "Mele Kalikimaka... Hope the people who transferred to HI are doing great this holiday season too! You and the Locker Nuts are amazing people.
Ok. I understand that many people who see syringes think drugs. Being a retired nurse though I think diabetes or allergies bad enough to need weekly injections. I still would be very careful with the syringes as if they are used they can harbor bacteria. The mascara, I will agree with you on. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks mascara is better than sex!!!
I was going to make the same comment in regard to the syringes. Although I didn't get a clear view, they appeared very similar to those used by my cousin's young daughter who, as a diabetic, needs to inject every day. The locker doesn't really strike me as the typical disorganised mess of 'regular; recreational drug users.
@@MrPaulMorris While those are insulin syringes, they are also commonly used for heroin. He did find literal white powder in a bag and the cream-whip-capsules in combination with balloons and a device to empty them. Also a lot of the disorder and quirkyness points towards heavy drugs. @@TheTKPizzaYeah but with the baggie with the crystals , the box of baggies the protective overalls and the syringes, it's pretty safe to say these people were druggies
That $ 20 bill looks counterfeit to me! I worked in a bank before the modern machines that scan the money and we could tell counterfeit from real. Better take it to the bank to check it out. I love the way you go through these lockers! So entertaining.
Jack should have a counterfeit pen, especially breaking big bills at the flea market. Whenever i get one i go in my truck where i keep my money bag and swipe any big bills or any smaller bills that look or feel odd. Nobody sees when i mark them. I'm not losing $80 of my money and the item for a $20 sale...
Some vintage sewing patterns can sell for a lot of money depending how rare they are. A lot of sewers like to make old patterns. If it's in its envelope someone might buy it.
I threw a bunch of those away when I cleaned my grandma's room last summer after she passed away. And a ton of fabric. I had no idea that any of it was valuable. I was going to donate the fabric but I had set it out in the walkway and it got rained on before I could get someone to pick it up for me.
In the past, when I visited my sister and her family in Fremont, CA, we often rode the BART to San Francisco. They are in Southern Oregon now. So, no more BART trips. I have often wondered about the Switch and what it looked like. I've heard about it, but I've never seen a picture of it. Merry Christmas, Jack!!! 🎄
Some of those mystery minis you pulled out at the beginning are worth quite a bit. At least 20 each. Also you should check all the dishes you find for the collectible stuff. You may find some rare pieces
You have to be careful with 'cheap' jewelry. I know someone who was given a 'garnet' ring that a relative couldn't sell for $5. Ended up being a $15k ruby.
You should always be exited to see VHS players, they are hard to come by these days and if you need one you pay top dollar - so always check if they are working :)
A little hello from Chiang Mai! Nice video for my breakfast! Interesting locker! it's been a while since there had been a "dirty locker"! And even if it's more complicated to search, sometimes there were good surprises! Well, not yet for this one, but maybe in the second part which is coming soon I hope!
Suprised you threw the sewing boxes and patterns. Patterns sell well on ebay. I guess you have to make choices when you get so much. Love the silver bowls. The unusual one with the odd handles must be something. Not silver, but may be old. Am always amazed at how you so often fall on your feet with these lockers. Cant wait for the next video. xx
Murphy oil soap for stains also clean get a little hot water .... if the clothing can stand it. Use a tooth brush dip in water then oxy then gently scrub the stain. Add a few drops of hot water. It should come out. Rinse the spot with cold or hot water.
I moved into an old rv a few years back now, and there was another old rv located next to mine. My landlord had told me that the previous tenants were tweekers, and they left all of their stuff in the rv, and also a vehicle. My landlord asked if I was interested in assisting him with clearing out all of the stuff in both the vehicle and rv, to which I said sure. Interesting point is how you had stated how everything in the storage unit had a nasty dirty feel, and also you found some syringes. I almost stuck my thumb with a used dirty syringe that I hadnt noticed, but overall this storage unit is almost exactly exactly the same as the stuff in the rv. clothes, hand bags, nick nacks, and more trash and disgustingness than ive ever experienced before, and to be honest, this storage unit is dang near exactly the same as what I was dealing with. What I found was that these tweekers, were also shooting up heroin, and who knows what else drug wise. Worse of all was when I came across a few unopened boxes with unopened xmas gifts that the tweekers had stolen off peoples porches. Classic case of tweeker thieving horders. CRAZY
The Good Stuff In The Second Trip, understand how you were bummed out stinky clothes nothing great yet can’t all be home runs. There are so many bins/boxes left chin up & Happy Digging! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Canadian "Maple leaf" pin😅... usually indicates cheap jewelry ahead ... luckily the unit was giving later. I don't like when the unit has the best upfront, usually staged and that happens my way more than it should. Congrats Jack.
I’ve always wondered and now I know, they stage these lockers to get bidders. The open jewelry box and the Switch on the floor right inside the door . It worked for the facility AND for you.
I just wanted to give you a heads up. There are sites that are selling 925 jewelry. But it's 925 silver plate over copper. And within 3 or 4 wearings your fingers are green. And these are widely used sites. Yep I found out personally. Anyway I really enjoy your videos. All the best to you and your family.
Earthquake? I dunno. If there was one, I slept right through it LOL. It takes a 5.0 or more to wake me up. I've lived through too many of them to get startled any more, unless it's a biggie.

I just think how crazy it is that the majority of the storage places you show are always huge "high dollar" items. Just like the TV show "Storage Wars" where we know that most of the big items (expensive) found in the storage rooms were put in for the shows benefit.
Only the screen protector of the Nintendo Switch appears to be cracked, which can just be peeled off and replaced if you want. It's also a limited edition one.
I’m sure the storage owners kinda stage it a little bit to show you some of the better stuff. Or it looks like they do based on all the videos I’ve watched. Great video!!! Fun!!
Jack, there is often a market for vintage sewing patterns. There's a whole UA-cam world of historical sewing and historical dress -- people have 100K to 1M followers --- lots of interest.
With all that sewing stuff in there (especially since there was a foot pedal in the sewing basket with the legs), keep an eye out for a sewing machine. Some of them can go for big bucks.
If i worked there i would go through a lot of the surface stuff looking for any goodies i can take before i sell it. I wonder how many times people actually do that. Telling me if they see an expensive item right on the front they wouldn't grab it, i am sure they do all the time.
Jack, the shoe box you opened that said Style & Co. And had all the syringes also had a tourniquet which wouldn’t be necessary for a diabetic - which brings me to my next point, the bag that had the cylinders had a green metal item that you unscrewed and put up to your nose to smell what it was…..PLEASE be careful. You are dealing with a drug user’s unit and you never know if you’ll find fentanyl! Please be careful.
With the needles I saw a orange cap that was sealed up. That makes me think that they were for medical purposes. The orange cap is used with medical ports. My wife had a triple during her treatment for CML leukemia. I had to flush all three lines every night and put the orange caps over the ports.
yea my guess would be this stuff belonged to some late teens/early twenties emo girl living in her first apartment that died of a heroine overdose and her parents cleared out the apartment and stuffed it all in this locker..
