- Locker Nuts episode 615
I thought I got a good deal on this locker after paying just $180 through an online storage auction site. The deal got WAAAY better after I find one item sitting on the ground, in plain site, right in the front of the locker. I didn't even see it when I bid, and I guess no one else noticed it either. That one item puts me in the profit already, so everything else is gravy. I love it when a locker starts out like that!

Ok. I understand that many people who see syringes think drugs. Being a retired nurse though I think diabetes or allergies bad enough to need weekly injections. I still would be very careful with the syringes as if they are used they can harbor bacteria.
The mascara, I will agree with you on. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks mascara is better than sex!!!
I was going to make the same comment in regard to the syringes. Although I didn't get a clear view, they appeared very similar to those used by my cousin's young daughter who, as a diabetic, needs to inject every day. The locker doesn't really strike me as the typical disorganised mess of 'regular; recreational drug users.
@@MrPaulMorris While those are insulin syringes, they are also commonly used for heroin. He did find literal white powder in a bag and the cream-whip-capsules in combination with balloons and a device to empty them. Also a lot of the disorder and quirkyness points towards heavy drugs. Source: I am a pharmacist working in the central station of a big city with lots of junkies.
My Mom was insulin dependent, and never used a latex strap to inject. Druggies….
That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard
Look in that button bottle and see if there's that Harley button in there
You have to be careful with 'cheap' jewelry. I know someone who was given a 'garnet' ring that a relative couldn't sell for $5. Ended up being a $15k ruby.
Glad to hear you say you're saving your cables/cords for recycling! You can build up the amounts quickly with what you do!
Canadian Maple Leaf.........hahahaha. Funny Jack.....Its not on our flag yet......but should be !!! hahahah
Some vintage sewing patterns can sell for a lot of money depending how rare they are. A lot of sewers like to make old patterns. If it's in its envelope someone might buy it.
I threw a bunch of those away when I cleaned my grandma's room last summer after she passed away. And a ton of fabric. I had no idea that any of it was valuable. I was going to donate the fabric but I had set it out in the walkway and it got rained on before I could get someone to pick it up for me.
That $ 20 bill looks counterfeit to me! I worked in a bank before the modern machines that scan the money and we could tell counterfeit from real. Better take it to the bank to check it out. I love the way you go through these lockers! So entertaining.
I agree with you
Jack should have a counterfeit pen, especially breaking big bills at the flea market. Whenever i get one i go in my truck where i keep my money bag and swipe any big bills or any smaller bills that look or feel odd. Nobody sees when i mark them. I'm not losing $80 of my money and the item for a $20 sale...
Canadian maple leaf, LOL 😅😅😅
6:44 That Pendleton blanket could pay for the whole unit! It's gorgeous.
Looked like a marijuana leaf to me! 😂😂😂
I agree 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, that what it is.
Jack knew lol He was trying to be funny
That was meth
@@tinystar3010 oh I figured so. Lol
In the past, when I visited my sister and her family in Fremont, CA, we often rode the BART to San Francisco. They are in Southern Oregon now. So, no more BART trips. I have often wondered about the Switch and what it looked like. I've heard about it, but I've never seen a picture of it.
Merry Christmas, Jack!!! 🎄
Hi Jack. My husband is Diabetic and we have use that size syringe for insulin. Maybe they were too?. Love watching all your video. The train lockers were amazing, also the 6 or more lockers you bought from the estate. AND THEN THERE WAS THE Hawaii locker. Scuse my lousey typing. May God continue bless you and yours.
Thanks Jack for another video. Keep ‘em coming 😊
Thanks, will do!
And, thennn comment. AllRiighht! Merry Christmas, or as we say in Hawaii" "Mele Kalikimaka... Hope the people who transferred to HI are doing great this holiday season too! You and the Locker Nuts are amazing people.
hauʻoli makahiki hou 🤙🏻
Some of those mystery minis you pulled out at the beginning are worth quite a bit. At least 20 each. Also you should check all the dishes you find for the collectible stuff. You may find some rare pieces
Canadian maple leaf 🍁 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jack love ur videos. U actually go through things. Most barely do! Keep ‘‘em coming! Make lots o money!
Omg he is such a goodie too shoes! LOL "Canadian maple leaf" hahaha haha 😄
You should always be exited to see VHS players, they are hard to come by these days and if you need one you pay top dollar - so always check if they are working :)
Merry Christmas to and the family. May the coming New Year bring you many blessings.
Same to you!
Happy Holidays to the Locker Nuts Family!
Same to you!
The Good Stuff In The Second Trip, understand how you were bummed out stinky clothes nothing great yet can’t all be home runs. There are so many bins/boxes left chin up & Happy Digging! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
A little hello from Chiang Mai!
Nice video for my breakfast!
Interesting locker! it's been a while since there had been a "dirty locker"! And even if it's more complicated to search, sometimes there were good surprises!
Well, not yet for this one, but maybe in the second part which is coming soon I hope!
Canadian Maple leaf....LOL. Thanks for the giggle. Your Menu Girl Coke tray is real, 1950s, btw.
Hey! The shelves are a win the table was useful! Great video. Merry Christmas!
JACK ALWAYS GETS GOOD LOCKERS
My dad and I bid a star wars lot at an auction up to 20k, the guy right after us got it. They sold about 10 tables covered on top and underneath, all 1970s and 80s with so much NOS it was insane. Early bird specials still in the KB Toys box. It was an auction I will never forget. Suffice to say I know the feeling.
I used to live in El cerrito right across from the BART station it was a blessing but yet also a pain
Not a bad locker you make it entertaining still great to watch. x
Thanks!
Wow Jack you got great deal on a fantastic locker!! 😲
I think so too!
Suprised you threw the sewing boxes and patterns. Patterns sell well on ebay. I guess you have to make choices when you get so much. Love the silver bowls. The unusual one with the odd handles must be something. Not silver, but may be old. Am always amazed at how you so often fall on your feet with these lockers. Cant wait for the next video. xx
Maybe pewter
Testimony thorough tears a soom of the most inspirational!
... 'Canadian maple leaf' 😂😂🤣 oh, Dear!
Those syringes are often used for insulin for diabetics.
I moved into an old rv a few years back now, and there was another old rv located next to mine. My landlord had told me that the previous tenants were tweekers, and they left all of their stuff in the rv, and also a vehicle. My landlord asked if I was interested in assisting him with clearing out all of the stuff in both the vehicle and rv, to which I said sure. Interesting point is how you had stated how everything in the storage unit had a nasty dirty feel, and also you found some syringes. I almost stuck my thumb with a used dirty syringe that I hadnt noticed, but overall this storage unit is almost exactly exactly the same as the stuff in the rv. clothes, hand bags, nick nacks, and more trash and disgustingness than ive ever experienced before, and to be honest, this storage unit is dang near exactly the same as what I was dealing with. What I found was that these tweekers, were also shooting up heroin, and who knows what else drug wise. Worse of all was when I came across a few unopened boxes with unopened xmas gifts that the tweekers had stolen off peoples porches. Classic case of tweeker thieving horders. CRAZY
You do have a good amount of silver there. I love watching your show. I'll throw some info to you now & then. Thanks
Hilarious the back side of the pad u pulled from the star wars box Big Black ****
I think that little blonde figurine in all black was Kiefer Sutherland's character David holding the "RICE" from LOST BOYS
Just want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
Thank you and same to you!!
A Canadian "maple" leaf hahaha. Yeah sure a "maple" MJ leaf! That made my day lol
The pattern tissue makes great wrapping material for fragile items.
I actually use old patterns for period costumes
Hej Locker Nuts Sewing patterns are good, even if they are used. So please don't throw them out. Love your videos! Shanna from Denmark
Canadian "Maple leaf" pin😅... usually indicates cheap jewelry ahead ... luckily the unit was giving later. I don't like when the unit has the best upfront, usually staged and that happens my way more than it should. Congrats Jack.
Cant say the 2 words i want to say to you dew but first word starts with F second word starts with Y
@@Joe-ep9lk Umm why so angry ?
Jack, please come and help sort out our garage! We could use your mad skills!
3:12 yeah a "canadian maple leaf" ... i bet you the worth is $ 420! 😂
I’ve always wondered and now I know, they stage these lockers to get bidders. The open jewelry box and the Switch on the floor right inside the door . It worked for the facility AND for you.
It only sold for $180 so I’m not sure what your definition of “worked” is, but I would call that a fail.
Dang that Dometic is nice! Perfect fridge for road trips in a car.
This was a pretty sweet locker, what a steal ..
I don't ever want to see excitement over Beanie Babies, lol.
Yes yes that is now a Canadian Maple Leaf 😂😂🇨🇦 🙌😂😂
Bummer, you have to put it all back in. Bummer we have to wait for Part 2!
Looks very sorted thru this locker
Canadian maple 🍁...lol. Pretty much nowadays here.
I’m sure the storage owners kinda stage it a little bit to show you some of the better stuff. Or it looks like they do based on all the videos I’ve watched. Great video!!! Fun!!
Jack, the shoe box you opened that said Style & Co. And had all the syringes also had a tourniquet which wouldn’t be necessary for a diabetic - which brings me to my next point, the bag that had the cylinders had a green metal item that you unscrewed and put up to your nose to smell what it was…..PLEASE be careful. You are dealing with a drug user’s unit and you never know if you’ll find fentanyl! Please be careful.
Probably a dealer
Nike skateboard..
I'm sorry the narrating is killing me. First storage unit/ garage sale person I won't be watching again.. sorry man later
Tinkerbell item is a tabletop fountain.
Do love any storage unit with shelves it tells me they're organized
Me too!
I still enjoy going through the lockers with you guys because you make it enjoyable and interesting, however, this one just didn’t have enough little finds to keep most people watching ! I guess I’m just a little “nuts” or something?! Lol
There are some very nice video games and collectibles on this unit
I just wanted to give you a heads up. There are sites that are selling 925 jewelry. But it's 925 silver plate over copper.
And within 3 or 4 wearings your fingers are green.
And these are widely used sites. Yep I found out personally.
Anyway I really enjoy your videos. All the best to you and your family.
"Canadian maple leaf" bro got me over here dying 🤣
Glad you like the humor
@@LockerNuts thought it was funny but we all know what it really is.
nice canadian maple leaf 🤣
With all that sewing stuff in there (especially since there was a foot pedal in the sewing basket with the legs), keep an eye out for a sewing machine. Some of them can go for big bucks.
that green tube is a whip it cracker you put it inside there is a sharp tip that pops the cartridge and fill the balloon attached to end.
Beads/small toys are used to make "candi" aka jewelry/ bracelets for EDM festivals.
Ppl trade them
Thank u for first part on debenture!
Jack, there is often a market for vintage sewing patterns. There's a whole UA-cam world of historical sewing and historical dress -- people have 100K to 1M followers --- lots of interest.
Canadian maple leafs are red. That's a pot leaf, Jack.
be very careful, diabetics don’t normally use tourniquets.
Syringes and a BART card...goes together like a hand and glove.
22:39 auction the powder man!!! What are you doing 😢😢😢😂
Hello Locker nuts happy freedom
Amen!
That breakable glass bin being on the highest stack of boxes is hilarious
Look like somebody done went through the jewelry box
This is my favorite show!!
Thanks so much!
Only the screen protector of the Nintendo Switch appears to be cracked, which can just be peeled off and replaced if you want. It's also a limited edition one.
If i worked there i would go through a lot of the surface stuff looking for any goodies i can take before i sell it. I wonder how many times people actually do that. Telling me if they see an expensive item right on the front they wouldn't grab it, i am sure they do all the time.
I want that mirror. Hope it's in an auction soon or eBay.
I plan to put it into Monday's auction, with a few of the cool and quirky items I found in this episode.
Wow! Nice!
Thanks!
Loved that hand mirror with bones on the other side how much is it for?
looks like the way it is such a mess maybe someone went through it before sale and the 'Canadian maple leaf' looks like Can-a-bus.
Nice Pendleton look alike item
yup Canadian maple leaf LOL
Great video greetings from Spain
You can sell those old sewing patterns you tossed. Just for future reference
Cheesy jewelry box…but your osirive attitude…fun!
The white horse lamp is an old television lamp sat on top of the TV for I guess mood light and may be worth something
That eagle necklace looked like the Harley logo
Check the pockets of the waistcoat to see if the nickel button is in it!!!
Ready!!!!
Sees skateboard “oh cool!” Sees nike SB “what’s the sb mean?” Lol
Dometic is a great camper van fridge..
Had to laugh at the "Canadian maple leaf" comment! Keeping it family friendly!
That's my goal! Glad you appreciate the humor and pg-13 content.
nice maple leaf right there
I've been in the storage and auction business for 20 plus years looks like a staged unit . Meaning it was set up with the switch to draw you in ..I've known several facility's in my area that have been known to do that
You can Mail bart tickets with small amounts to Bart in bulk and they will mail it back all on 1 card
Please wear some type of gloves, especially when finding drug paraphernalia. Fentenal can be absorbed thru the skin. Please be careful.
When he said stockton flea market i had to double take, ive been to the stockton flea market, the one in the uk not the us though😂
Prada? I think it's notta 🤣🤣🤣🤣
