Very relaxing considering cutting grass is more exciting than what TV has to offer lately. Looks like fun for sure. 4 swipes with that and my yard is finished....lol. Honestly I want a powered reel mower . Your a lucky dog, well deserved.
Found your videos last fall after I picked up a zt150 myself and gotta say I LOVE this mower. Your tips and help renovating a yard for a typical homeowner has helped me take pride in my yard and it’s nice seeing the same mower doing wonderful things in abusive situations lol. Keep them coming! Not sure why people gave this a thumbs down!
A little tip when mowing tall stuff with the ZT1, is say you cut it at 4 inches, raise the deck up to 4.5 (just raise your deck up .5 - 1 inch) and it picks up the clippings so much better. Great video!
A tip about clippings. After you finish mowing, raise the deck all the way up. Then go over the clippings, it will chew them up and turn them to dust. Might take a couple times depending on how thick it is. (Tip I learned working for a lawn service)
I shortened deflector to the bottom of caution sign to fit mower in my storage space have not had problems with clippings since. The modified deflector still offers safety but allows clipping to spread out.
Recently I used my ZT1 on a clients yard at about the same height..I even did nice lawn lines at the end. Day an night difference. Hope it holds up well for me as I use it at about 10-12 residential houses/week.
zt2 w/60" fabricated deck here. 2 years in, and the fabricated deck is literally coming apart at the seams. metal under the exit chute broke off a year ago, metal on the other side is bent backwards and leaves yard scars in reverse, multiple weld pops across the top. have a cub tractor with a stamped 46", and that thing has held up wayyyyy better. stay away from the fabricated decks, they look beefier, but are craptastic.
I feel like my previous stamped 46” deck had a better overall cut quality, but my zt1 50” is holding up fine. It’s 3 years old now and it’s hit countless baseball+ sized rocks, a tree stump or two, been bashed into curbing all the time, and hit a chunk of heavy 2inch metal pipe from an old sandpoint well that literally broke the blade in half. It had s-shaped pattern spindles and I got rid of those for star pattern and get aftermarket blades now. They cut better and last longer.
Irritating to watch. You make what, 8 passes to mow, then 20 to sweep the clippings because you use less than half the deck? Begs the question of why you didn't just double back on every pass when you mowed. You may want to upgrade to the ZT2 with the 2800 hydrostatic motors, because for every acre there, you mow 4 or 5.
Love watching these guys on their 0-turns going over and over and over and over and over and over the grass. Man what a time saver....
Gorgeous grass

It hurts me just a little to see it all mowed, but not trimmed around the pond. I need closure.
I know.. I wish zero turns had a trimmer on the side lol would make that pond a breeze
@@GrassDaddy Nothing some ducttape won't solve
Amazing video and awesome channel, I hope to have a channel as good as yours one day
Awesome Tim! Looks like a great time just a man and his mower.
Looks amazing already with that backdrop and by a pond. 💚
Thanks for all the video's you help me get a nice lawn. I posted a picture on your website
Hellow did u have any problems with the deck vibrating horribly.

Yes I do that with the push mower but didn't think about that here. Would have saved me some time 🤣

yes I normally do this but I was curious how it would do with the extra load of not lifting the deck on the next pass. It actually did really well.
How is the cut finish? I see alot of users say it doesn't cut as cleanly(stragglers) as other riding mowers.
I just bought one myself. Fucking love this mower! Just wish my lawn was bigger cause I have so much fun cutting!
How do you like the mower? Is it still working well after 3 years?
Yes it works great still. I used it yesterday to move some heavy boxes 😂
Next time flip the deflector up to compare if it dispersed and/or throws those clippings farther out. Great vid! :)
m aybe he is too stupid cause he didn t know you always have to put the deflector always up idiot

@@larrylass4268I’m thinking about doing the same. The deflector seems to really be pointed into the ground on mine and leaves pretty bad windrows.
@@specialestness If you shorten deflector need adjust mowing pattern to point away from windows. Not a problem but need to plan ahead.
I love my Gravely ZT!!!!!!!
I love my bad boy zt elete

I was just about to hit the thumbs up then you said iced coffee...
Just kidding I still gave a thumbs up but iced coffee
haha
I've got the 42" so far it's holding it's weight
More videos like this!
If you had a commercial you wouldn't have had to go over it twice due to those large clippings
You'd also have to pay at least twice as much for it so
@@Pantelifts10 yeah, but you would cut your time in half

No stripes? C'mon man!
It would have been better if you accidentally rolled it into the pond.
