Enjoy Sturgis for me. I'll live vicariously through everyone that can make it. The border will not be open in time to travel so I'm stuck on this side of the 49th Parallel for another year. Hopefully next year my siblings and I can go down and celebrate Dad's life with a memorial ride up to Iron Mountain. He loved that ride along with all you've mentioned. Rubber-side down, everyone!

One thing you totally missed were the bike shows. Rats Hole at the Chip, Baddest Bagger at the Throttle, the Iron Horse and Beaver Bar have good ones too. Never hurts to hit up a bikini bike wash either.
Belle Foosh is how the locals pronounce it when we haul cattle out of there! 🤙🏻 also. We love to go through Custer national park. Lots of Buffalo and such right along the road. My dad got rammed off his 😂😂🤷🏼♂️

Old Hill City road! Runs between Keystone and Hill City, follows the railroad. Great road, top speed for a short spot is 45, most is 20 mph. Cross the tracks 10 to 15 times. Just got back from out there Friday.

I just got back from an early trip out there. I agree with your top 2 except I have them swapped with Iron Mountain at number 1. My dad and I did Spearfish in a downpour. So I guess. We have to go back and do it again. I uploaded a lot of the videos from my rides. If anyone is interested.
Bought my softail last June, rode to Sturgis from Idaho in August! Rode needles, absolutely loved it! We stay in Deadwood and ride into Sturgis for a day and then spend the rest of our few days trying to get as much riding in as possible! Super excited for this year! We’re gonna hit some concerts and do a couple of the things we didn’t get to last year!
Go out the east end of Junction St it turns into Vanocker Canyon Rd. Be safe. Two people have already been killed in separate bike accidents in the last month.
Custer State Park is a must do for me. Probably doesn't need mentioning. I have been twice before but this will be my first time riding from Boston to Sturgis.
In Deadwood, the upstairs restaurant in Gem Casino/Hotel has a GREAT Smoked Prime Rib, they have a good roast prime rib, but the smoked prime rib, wow!

Haven’t made it to Sturgis yet, but it’s definitely on my list of places I want to go to, mostly for the riding. I’ve been told the best time to go is the week before or the week after. On a different note, received my “be shady” t-shirt today! Now I just need to have a chance to wear it!

I can't go my bike broke down the stator blew up and I am going to have to save money for two three months to buy parts please enjoy your time and I hate I won't see you on the 30th in GA. Only way for me to get there with my bike I will have to carry it and I can't do that
This year will be my first Sturgis trip and also my first motorcycle rally in the US. Hearing all the things to do in this list, I may need to extend my trip from 3 days to the full week
@@ProfessionalMonkey I spent time this morning to plan the rides I am interested in and no ride is less than 200 miles a day. After your previous video mentioning 40mph average due to traffic, this will be tough to achieve while trying to enjoy it. Also counting in that my trip to and from Sturgis is 1200 miles... I will be negotiating for a couple more days off at work and include Yellowstone in my trip. Thanks for the advice and have a safe trip!

Sturgis has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. A few weeks back I quit my job starting another in September. And I realized I am technically able to go to Sturgis. Question is. I haven't planned anything, would you recommend just packing a bag and going (probably just me) without plans. (Well from this point)? Love the video, makes me want to go even more now. But a little hesitant because I am not prepared at all. Thank you! BTW, I am in south Florida as well. And I'd ride there most likely.

Boulder canyon is between deadwood and Sturgis. Junction turns into Vanocker canyon Rd up by Arby's and runs to Nemo
