If only Hulky Krow got his narrative declaration of a city wide famine, potato-mancer could afford prozac.
Thurston won't let you have a famine but Zoran will let you have infinite food glitch NPC
Well you see there would’ve been a famine but potato boy cancels it out
I think potato boy is the reason there can't be a famine lol.
"You know what they say, 'cream on the inside clean on the outside.'"
- Heart
I friggin' love how many fun NPCs the Goons make friends with throughout their adventures! Rotgrind's pretty epic, of course, but Rotgoons just has a real *cozy* quality to it that I really dig!
i love that Heart is now handing out stone tablet business cards
This is the second time the Rotgoons have done restaurant RP, and both times, all I can think of is the Grease Poppin' level in the Scratchin' Melodii demo, but with Tellem and Beetle.
Someone animate that!
10:01 I love that scene in Princess Mononoke where the faceless guy went "ALULULULULULA I'M A WORM I'M A WORM!"
This was an amazing episode. It really shows how TTRPG can be more then combat. And how the dice can help tell the story as well and add unexpected elements to a satisfying experience. The fun is not just the winning but loses and doing your best to be more then a combat sheet with numbers. Bravo.
Was waiting for salty to say “if it’s not tight….it’s not right” or yell “don’t forget the bepsi”
I have a gut feeling that the Rot Flies was stagged by Kerdenan... He was prepping his staff seconds before they appeared, and they appeared at the exact time he was in the area - and there wasn't Indication that the creepy salesman was targeting him. And knowing how they view death I have a feeling they aren't "disposing" of the bodies.
ITS GOONING TIME! Woo!
Really nice to have a narrative episode without combat! Much more of my jam! :3
thanks to you guys i am now apart of a few groups for dnd and pathfinder, am workingo nhomebrew stuff with friends, and am getting back into drawing to fill our games with custom art! you guys ar egreat, plz never stop and i know this is a older video, but im watching the whiole darn thing on a playlist! love you guys!
Greg: I don't want to cure world hunger, I want to be a wizard.
'insulting a chef's spinach puffs, is worse than insulting his mother.'
1:39:21 Telim, your entire existence is based around shiny things.
3:00:00 Telim: *poof*
3:13:00 basically handing the Pope your autograph.
This series always puts a smile on my face. Aside from the light hearted humor and silliness, I like it when the goons make a convincing speech or a well researched point. Really brings the narrative together!
Oh my god, Beetle's little song with Hearts help, very good.
Fun fact. You can make alcohol out of honey
Mead, aka honey wine. It’s actually really good and has a lot of potential for different flavor profiles depending on what kind of honey is used and what botanicals, fruits, or spices you infuse it with. Mead is pretty simple to make and thought to be one of the oldest forms of alcohol humans ever created, really only rivaled by beer. I’m surprised more isn’t made in the South East USA there’s a strong local honey industry here.
yup, polish Honey whiskey, called vagushka (sp?), real smooth going down
@@alphaandomega4422 i kinda wanna try that
@WASDLeftClick My sister is an apiarist. She is trying to make it. Honey moves fast in the south. Mead's not easy to make.
Seriously, she produces 1 ton a month and rarely keeps more than 10 lbs after market. She isn't left with much to experiment with.
@@SolomonCaineReaper Interesting. Makes a lot of sense actually considering it's been a bit of a trend in the culinary scene recently, especially hot honey and honey whiskey liqueurs.
When I say mead is easy to make, I mean that it's not especially hard labor physically and that it's not complicated to get results that won't poison you and will contain enough alcohol to get you drunk. Making something that tastes really good though, that's not easy.
At least, that's been my experience with winemaking in the two batches I've made, but that was with blackberries and grapes.
2:47:14 I'm disappointed in you Zoran. No option of consulting with the conch shell.
Greggs make a lot of hot-selling greasy baked goods, so I could totally see them selling fries as Golden Greggers and doing very well...
Potato wizard!? HE'S MINE!!!! INFINITE FRENCH FRIES AND CHIPS!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
Will there be a Rotgrind Guy Fieri and Gordon Ramsay?
Earndill (the Guy who plays Baldric) had a Hell's Kitchen bit already, so we already got our Rotgrind Gordon Ramsay not so sure about the Guy Fieri though.
@@joebard4220it's either Hulky or Speaker.
Bremblo is Guy’s incarnation in the Rotgrind Cinematic Universe. The incident at Sweet’s was an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
Potato mancer turning magic ie energy into food ie matter
He is the Star Trek replicator in human form
Are we going to see a food truck war soon?
I would love that. I low key want to open a hot dog food truck someday.
READY THE CANNON!
I see the Goons are also hitting that part of the story when they are starting to rub shoulders with the city’s big wigs 😁That was a great session and another example of how to make awesome social encounters, every member of the party was able to do something which is always nice. For the algorithm! 🤩
2:04:20 ... what the actual fuck was that froggy xD I refuse to believe that was improv!
Why doesn't the potatomancer go to the nearest tavern and learn how to make vodka?
The way to the heart is through the stomach after all
Finally got around to watching this, only 3 days late this time.. to find out i missed an episode again...damn it
why dose kerdenand and his possy remind me of that race from endless legends, the cultests i think their called?
36:00 You mean the Heart and Soul
I just caught, up started like four days ago…. How can I binge this goodness when I have to wait two weeks every time
Tellem doing the math problem meme
Your guys need too make a play list on UA-cam for Rotgoons
We have one!
@@NarrativeDeclaration could you please link it, I can't find it
@@NarrativeDeclaration alright I found it, sorry for bothering
Im dissapointed none of them remembered Kerdenan's 3 action heal should have hurt Tellem
Crazy i was crazy once they locked me in a tube, a rubber tube, a rubber tuble filled with worms the worms made me crazy.
Crazy? I was crazy once, they locked me in a TUBE, a RUBBER TUBE, a RUBBER TUBE with *WORMS,* and worms make me crazy.
call my paranoid, but I just don't trust that guy Kerdinand, I honestly think that whole bit with the spider eggs and flies was a little too convenient.
that being said, GOLDEN GREGGERS! KABOBS! COFFEE THAT WILL HELP YOU BENCH PRESS RHINOS!
and one classist elf selling crappy wine...
Never give the GM ideas...
Always a horrible idea
Did the ending remind anyone else of Demolition Man?
Has the potatomancer considered poutine?
Zoran is no longer a bear? What is this heresy!?
I hate to say this but Heart is correct... there is actually a thing called milk wine
I dont know what they mean by age it because of the rubber room or whatever. I have no idea what the joke is
It's an old meme poem/joke that loops/repeats:
Crazy? I Was Crazy Once. They Locked Me In A Room. A Rubber Room. A Rubber Room With Rats. And Rats Make Me Crazy. Crazy? I Was Crazy Once. They Locked Me In A Room. A Rubber Room. A Rubber Room With Rats. And Rats Make Me Crazy...
And so on and so on
@@KazeTheCursedOne thanks
👍💞👍
Just puttin' this out there, but haven't the Goons been pretty much COMPLETELY ignoring their primary objective for, like, 14 episodes now? Something about a broken amulet and a blacksmith?
