LadyEvilest #9 doesn't even have to show anything. And the accident it implies isn't even fatal! But it just gets you right in the cringe center of the brain.
The Samaritans one doesn't actually scare me, however it does pack an emotional punch for me. Seeing that woman struggling so hard to open up, stumbling on her words is just heartbreaking. You can just tell she's trying to seek help from the way she reaches out in tears at the end when the camera zooms out. It's very hard to watch not because it's frightening but because for me I just want someone else to come into shot and tell her that it'll be alright.
The Samaritans one took me a little while to get, but the inhuman noises are from an electric guitar. She's dressed kinda punk, too. At the end, a guitar chord plays out. It's saying that we don't understand teenagers, but the sadness is real. She's just an eighties punk stereotype who's upset and stressed (thus the walls closing in). Nothing to fear, it's actually pretty clever.
That actually seems to fit. I actually felt sorry for her. While I do like the PIF, I think it's faulty. The PIF seems to imply that you can contact the Samaritans to talk to them if you feel depressed, but instead has the girl trying to talk about her problems only to be met with...whatever the hell those noises were. Kinda counter-productive.

I never run on the beach. Oh, and the girl was screaming, "Jimmy". The whole film is called "Play Safe". And if you REALLY want a scare, try "Apaches".
I like to think #6 is the sequel to the one PIF where those three break into that substation and two of them get killed, considering Jimmy's friend mentions that group of kids.
I just wanna say how much I love this channel. Your commentary in between videos helps ease some of the fear and you have a great sense of humor. Keep up the good work!
Skylar Klebold That is one of the most terrifying pieces of media I’ve ever seen. The narrator, the music, the bodies and the nightvision all is bloody scary as hell.
Yes, "Siara" never fails to make me feel very cold inside - try watching it without the sound and you can hear those nasty sounds - it's amazing what the mind can do to you! The video piracy ad - I always thought the child would scream, that anticipation used to scare me the most.
The no. 1 choice was more depressing than scary. A kick in the gut by having that woman try to talk about her problems only to shriek guitar noises and then have the camera back away is saddening. ... I'd actually like to know that actress's name.
10) Oh no, it's the... British Hyenas? They'll scavenge your loose change! Seriously though, they are a bit creepy with the noise they make. 9) Ouch, sometimes anticipation is worse than actually seeing the gore. Makes my toes curl in sympathy every time. 8) Remember what I said about anticipation being scary? Jesus, this one goes to Silent Hill psych horror levels of crazy. Makes me feel like I'm in a serial killer's collection of the paper mache covered bodies of his victims, and I'm gonna be next. 7) That poor tiger, I wince every time. :( 6) Oh come on, this one's just a repeat of the other transformer station one. Gotta be more creative, guys... nothing more to say about this one except, "JIMMYYYYYYY!!!" 5) Oh god this one makes me feel like I'm a kid who's climbing down the stairs in the dark. Everyone's terror for dark stairs is real. I feel like you never get over it. 4) This one shows how fucking scary synth is. Goddamn it, Greenpeace. Now I'm miserable. But I do kind of want a Radioactivity symbol tombstone for when I die now. Imagine how metal that would look in the graveyard. 3) How's that for hyperbole? Come the hell on, this is just overwrought as hell... but you do make a point, it is very nightmarish. 2) Creepy snake pens? Sure, my five year old self didn't need to remain toilet trained anyway. Jesus. Dyslexia has never been scarier. 1) Poor lady, I wish she could be understood. It's like depression personified, but did they have to make the shrieking guitar so fucking terrifying?
Well, that opening knocked the socks off my original, crappy idea. I totally forgot the robot wars connection. Anyway, I think the ending needs just that extra bit of pizazz, and I think I know what might do the trick.
I think numbers 8, 7 and 4 are the scariest -Number 8 because it's really creepy and makes me feel like some horrible.......THING is hiding in the darkness -Number 7 is just hard to watch -Number 4 got a reaction out of me with how massive that graveyard was.........
@@simon8126 Rebecca is the kid’s name (the father said he’d ‘got the video Rebecca wanted’) and plenty of Brits use ‘honey’ as a pet name as well as Yanks
I like that most of these PIF's show that you can be scary without stooping to cheap gore.

On the electrical psa, the young girl is screaming "Jimmy" at the end.
Ryan Eyster It’s pretty creepy when she’s screaming your own name.

+Yumi PIF She's pretty. she kind of looks like Stefanie Scott.
To be fair, it is supposed to be symbolic.
She sounds like she swallowed Eddie Van Halen in the literal rather than the naughty sense of the word

I didn't know that is the reason for that pif
+robert lewis It might not be, but that's my interpretation.

From 19:29 to 19:31 I think she said “It’s not fair”
If we had half these PIF's on TV today, I can guarantee there'd be less crime and more bed-wetting.

Oh, and the girl was screaming, "Jimmy". The whole film is called "Play Safe". And if you REALLY want a scare, try "Apaches".
Apaches may have also have been an allegory into the deaths of tribespeople and the different ways are how they were forced away or died.
I like to think #6 is the sequel to the one PIF where those three break into that substation and two of them get killed, considering Jimmy's friend mentions that group of kids.
Same But #6 Was Made Before That One And I Like To Think That #7 Was A Sequel Of The Diewan One Or Was It Made Before Diewan
@@reecewilson3204 or it’s a prequel
Also ea I think in #6 the girl is saying Jimmy.

Well, I aim to please. Thanks a lot.
#8 literally made my heart rate spike up....that was creepy af....

The hyena one just makes me want to carry a shotgun everywhere .... more than before .
Cool you quoted the best line from the Lion King.
Celebrate good times, Think! is dead!!
Wait so #8 was about how people pay less money for others safety for profits and that's what causes the crashes and disaster?
When I was younger, I remember seeing those car crime stickers on lots of cars and I thought it was a dog so I thought it meant no dogs.

I liked the song that played in the backgrond before they showed the pifs
Cool seeing a sequel to your scariest pifs video, not sure I should be watching at 10:00 pm though...
What happened to that advert about the Rwandan Genocide? Also great to see you doing your own introductions.
It'll get on one of the lists someday. There'll probably be more episodes about scary PIFs.
+easportsbig899 since you used a Scooby-Doo song for your next list you should play I'm a hex girl for top 10 supernatural ish PIF's.
+easportsbig899 #6 had a controversial edit where it shows Jimmy's burning legs. pretty gross huh?
anyone else watching this one just for the song?
*searches for full version*
Did Gerald Scarfe direct the airbrush animation for that dyslexia PIF? I got some serious "Pink Floyd: The Wall" vibes from that one...

Great opening & list. What's the song playing in between the clips? It's sounds really good! :)
It's from Scooby Doo. I don't know its specific name, though
NOY(okokokoko)YON terror time again
Good

Just wondering, what are the Samaritans and what do they do? Wikipedia hasn't been much help.
PSA no. 8 are basically just mentioning episodes of Seconds From Disaster and Air Crash Investigation.
17:05 I didn't have an excuse two minutes ago but now I do, I'm scared stiff of pens thanks to your god damn ad, you sick f*cks
How old are these PIF's?
Looking at #4 really got me
Shook to my very core....😱😱☠
I'm watching Spongebob while the Spongebob parts at the end were playing
My response to #9: Holy boy panties Batman

Who exactly is the DA PIF aimed at? Who are they blaming?
Number 1 made my ears bleed
Actually it's timmy
We want to stop abuse to women kids and animals but abuse In anime is ok?
Who in this country uses 'honey' as a term of endearment? It's American. We say 'darling', or 'love'.
It could be that in this case, Honey is the kid's name.
Perhaps...
Depends on what part of US you focus on.
