Finally I was able to get the woojer vest to work with the hyper x wireless ps4 headset. I Bought the bluetooth dongle you recommended but then I was having trouble getting the ps4 to input and output both dongles on the same ps4 profile it would always show a notification saying switch over to the next device and the woojer vest would turn off so the remedy was having the bluetooth dongle you recommended on a second ps4 profile and having the wireless headset dongle on the main profile Now I'm able to feel the woojer vest and talk to players on call of duty modern warfare Also the woojer is badass on resident evil village and guilty gear strive thanks Dr Oculus Vr just what I needed lol.
I use my woojer for everything. If you want to use it and chat though use the provided cable into the ds4 and then a chat headset into the woojer vest so you can still chat to folks

That has to be a wired connection to have audio pass through with the mic on Woojer failing that if you can split the audio but have the headset function normally that's good too

The only way I know to be able to use the headset to chat and the vest is to plug the headset into the vest and the vest to the pad so the vest acts as a pass through. I only have a razer headset that's cabled so I've not had an issue. If you join the woojer discord I think there's people who can recommend how to split the PlayStation audio so you can use a wireless headset and somehow still send audio to the vest

Not at gazza, so what I would suggest is you make sure the audio out from the pad is as high as it will go on the pc/console and then adjust the audio to headphones on the vest. Also make sure you're in the correct mode. There's a wide and a focused mode (I've never touched it to be honest) and if that doesn't work you could check the woojer support on the site or just give it a factory reset (pin in the small hole) my best guess is the volume thing though

@@cjlaster7660 many have said the same thing. the only thing i can think of is to make sure your mic source is set to the Bluetooth dongle. I did not get chance to test this as i only play VR on my ps4 and rarely in a party

You would have to headset to Woojer as the PlayStation doesnt like outputting to 2 sepearte sources unless you can grab the audio with another piece of tech like an hdmi splitter to a Bluetooth sender that takes 2 audio outputs and a tv but that sounds much more expensive than a £30 dongle or even just a cable (pad to vest, vest to headphones)
There is a newer version but I'm not sure how much better it is both have low latency Bluetooth but the 3 has bt5 so if you can find one and afford it go for although I can only vouch for the one in the video

However I have a wireless headset that's connect to the PS4 so Is there any way to have the head set connect to the PS4 for party chat and have sound though the TV and the Vest as I don't think the head set can connect to the vest through the blue tooth device.
Sadly no Sony only allow you to route the audio to 1 place either the Bluetooth or the TV not both so the only option there is to somehow split the audio if you want it in more than one place
So I tried with the woojer and a pair of Bluetooth headphones and it does not connect to both I'm afraid I would just connect to whatever device got there 1st and leave the other one searching
If you can find a dongle that supports multiple connections and PlayStation 4 you're on to a winner but this is just to play with 5he vest wirelessly. There's no saying you can't have 2 dingles maybe but sadly I don't own the Bluetooth headset from sony
@@riteoffit ahhh same issue then. Unlike the xbox PlayStation only outputs to one source and your headset has its own dongle. You need to be able to split that Bluetooth signal to 2 places or connect your headset to the vest with a headphone cable

I have the a40 headset with the TR amp.. an aux cable goes from the headphone slot in the amp to the input on the vest... then the headphones are plugged into the vest in the vests headphone slot... hope that's understandable.. 😊.. mic works perfect..

I believe the answer to be no. Because the PlayStation asks you to choose where the sound goes it doesn't let you pic 2 places at once (something I hoped they would change for the ps5 but they did not) you may be able to plug the headset into the vest though as it does have USB c. I shall test and report back
ok i tested and the USB C on the Woojer does not output sound so thats a no go. looks like your best option is still 3.5mm to the vest and the vest to the pad the mic audio should passthrough

yeah the PlayStation will only allow one audio device from what i can tell your only option is to connect the headphones to the vest. the problem then is the microphone audio back to the PlayStation

Is it that it won't connect to the device or does it conned but you get no sound? Try connecting the dongle to something else 1st like a computer and see if you get audio. Start ruling things out. I assume the Woojer connects via Bluetooth to another device? Also make sure you have the right dongle and set the audio on the playstation to output to bluetooth

Yeah this dongle is not going to help you. Many report issues with chat I think best thing for you would be to use the provided cable into the controller then headset into the vest. The way Sony handles the audio is annoying as hell. The PlayStation will only output to TV or headset/USB and sounds like you need both.
No you can just cable into the pad and then connect your headphones to the vest using the 3.5mm jack it will also pass your voice through using this method

So the issue here is that Sony only allows one output for audio so you can output to the strap but get no audio to the tv/surround sound. Only option is if you can pass through the surround sound. Connect that to ps and connect the strap to your surround sound
@@DrOculusVR I managed to connect it through the sub woofer input by using a phono-split. But I`m not sure that was a good solution since I felt the vibration was weak. I haven`t tuned the subwoofer yet to see if that helped. For the record, I already have a butt-kicker and subwoofer connected. So I`m no sure if it would be smart to add the Woojer to that plug as well :)
Yeah the best results are found by inputting a sound at high volume then adjusting the sound on the woojer I basically have it going through either the psvr or voicemeter on the pc and just jame the volume to max

No, both the dongle and the woojer are aptX low-latency Bluetooth 5.0 so it's super quick

This is the recommended method yes, that way you can use the mic and still use the vest

Sadly no, not like this. Would need to snag the audio another way and then Bluetooth it to the vest. A cable to the vest isn't that invasive
I got a ps4. Can I just plug and play to the ps4. Like doing it without Bluetooth?
Oh absolutely when I'm playing I always use a cable to the pad or vr headset it's the best way

Not at all it's a pleasure to help. Yes that's exactly right if you connect to your controller then headphones into the vest you can even use a microphone
