Then Hannah Barton, her show has huge numbers, very pretty fit lady with southern accent from Alabama, who goes noodling with dad and others for big catfish.

around ten years ago I took a motorcycle ride up into way North East Canada on the Trans Labrador "highway". The highway was mostly a remote gravel road that would have distances of 150+ miles between any sort of services or anything at all really. Just wilderness for miles and miles. I noticed pretty early on that if I was stopped on the side of the road and someone happened to pass by they would make sure I was OK,. Often just a thumbs up / thumbs down to which I would reply with a thumbs up and they went on with their day. I realized that even if you could get cell or sat phone reception it may take many hours for a someone to make it out to where you are. The people that live/work in the area already know this so they look after each other. I made sure to do the same the rest of that trip and I like to think in life in general.

We got rid of ALL our spruce in our neck of the wood in Alaska well before the huge infestation started near us, a couple decades before all our homestead neighbors did. We planted western red cedar and yellow cedar and the perimeter forest line with black cotton wood we mill everything ourselves and have a steady customer base that we cater to for many decades when my father first started rotating our forest portion of land. We rotate at 10 acres per species cleared every year, let that 10 acres go fallow for the following year, then replant with 5 year old potted trees we grow ourselves in our greenhouses. So a total of 3- 10 acre cuttings and processing every year. We have NEVER had issues with fires, rot, blight, nor environmental nut jobs (which is by far the worst infestation in Alaska!) Good videos young man!

I love watching you two work together as a team. It's amazing to me how much you two have created together. I love watching your video's. At one point in time this was my dream to be where you are and doing this. But after 22 years of marriage, I'm kinda glad it didn't turn out because if this was my husband and me, I would be the one at the back of the boat pushing giving myself a hernia, while my husband would be laying in the boat with his phone on You Tube binge watching your video's saying how cool your lives are., and asking for me to make him a sandwhich when I was done pushing the boat. ROFLMBO!! KEEP UP THE TEAM WORK, you guys are amazing.
Of course Arielle had to do the mermaid move! She certainly has the name for it! And so gracefully she did it, too. The effort it takes to do so many things there in Alaska and your willingness to show the reality is what makes your channel so great. As always, kudos to you both, and no wishing you success because your own determination makes success almost assured all by itself, no wishes needed! Loved the video.
I just love the little homestead you two have created. That and having a "vacation" cabin makes me smile. Isn't it amazing the things you can accomplish. I don't think there is anything you two can do together. What a great couple/team you make. So fun
I'm sitting here smiling. I love your adventures. As a young person I lived in the high Cascades during the summer. Oh I loved it so much. I felt so much more alive.
Might I suggest the next time you do this. Try ratchet strapping a pallet of wood and towing it behind the boat. For decades lumber companies transported their logs by water to a mill downstream. It would at least take the boat's weight capacity out of the calculation and make the transportation safer and maybe allow you to transport even more. Love your channel.
How many days do you reckon it would take to go the 60 miles when they're travelling as slowly as necessary to keep the pallet of wood from breaking up? That would be important to know.
Eric is alucky man!! He has a strong women 💪 who just gives her all! Ariel, i don't know many who would enjoy "beast mode" as much as you! Eric you are a hard worker!! Can't forget you!
Awesome! These saws have sped up and changed the homesteaders dreams all over the USA . Such a great tool to have in your arsenal. Beautiful wood for sure, so glad to see you guys improving the lands where ever you travel, great people and mentors for-sure. Be fun seeing your new outhouse, and all your able to use the wood for. Safe travels and blessings to all, keep on keeping on. And thanks again for always sharing, great entertainment and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Would an anchor winch on the bow help walk the anchor upstream bed it then winch the boat up to anchor repeat etc? Always useful for other things as well.
I run a couple of sawmills (Alaskan with a 96” bar and a woodmizer LT-15 wide). A quick recommendation, when you have the cant, or at least flat sides, try taking the point off of the clamp. It won’t dig into the wood but will still have the pressure and if you keep it a little lower it won’t twist when cutting.
Absolutely love the video this time around. The public display of affection is beautiful please keep it up. In the past there really was none and now it shows how connected you both are. Take care.
I was astounded you had the energy left to unload the boat when you arrived, you two have grit and drive. Was really excited to see Justin Beaver again. Good luck on the build.
What is wonderful is you two are teaching the whole world how to live in Alaska in all is aspects; growing food, getting the allowed food from the wild by law, gardening and raising your own food and how to get some fun in Alaska. Please, never stop this channel.
'Alaska puts everything in your way'? My kind of world because that builds resilience! Kia Kaha! pronounced Key a ka ha (means fight on don't give up) and look at what you are doing. Peace and love from New Zealand
Everytime I watch I’m amazed at what y’all do to survive. Absolutely incredible, you guys should be very proud, I know I’m just a random person but I’ve been watching you guys for about a year now and loved every second of your day to day. My personal favourites are your foraging and home cook meal videos. God Bless!
Wow. Was tired out just watching you guys. The amount of effort put into your projects is enormous and pure hard work. Congratulations on getting the wood to the cabin. Rest well you deserve it. Can't wait for the next video.
Struggle is a part of life! The more you struggle the more you will enjoy the easy parts IMO. You live in true paradise, the nature, the chores before summer/winter. You are truly blessed. Thumbs up from Sweden!

Good job, guys!! You guys work so hard and never give up. Love the video. Can't wait to see the finished product.
I was on th edge of my seat with the first load. Holy cow! Thank goodness for nice strangers. That's what it's all about.
I think it's going to be one of the most precious outhouse in Alaska. A True American spirit.
Man that seems like a lot of material for a outhouse! f Great video of you two working as a team to get it done! My hat is off to you two guys.
Congrats on 6Lakh subs 💛💛
Beautiful job. You two amaze me. So talented. .
You kids just blow my mind, you can do anything. That saw mill can save you a lot of money.
Would an anchor winch on the bow help walk the anchor upstream bed it then winch the boat up to anchor repeat etc? Always useful for other things as well.
Wow you guys are living the dream!!!!
Every day is a new adventure for you two and the pups. I hope they get over their mad at you for not taking them on this trip. 🤣
Love your videos. Can't wait for a garden video and update on home projects.
Absolutely love the video this time around. The public display of affection is beautiful please keep it up. In the past there really was none and now it shows how connected you both are. Take care.
No thanks, but I appreciate it
Justin Beaver 🤣🤣

Incredible! Every part was incredible! Can't wait to watch the outhouse build! God bless you both!

I was astounded you had the energy left to unload the boat when you arrived, you two have grit and drive. Was really excited to see Justin Beaver again. Good luck on the build.
Memories together to be cherish forever 💓
Great video, be thankful your age is working for you rather than against you. You guys are troopers. Thanx for bringing an old man along, God bless.😃
What is wonderful is you two are teaching the whole world how to live in Alaska in all is aspects; growing food, getting the allowed food from the wild by law, gardening and raising your own food and how to get some fun in Alaska.
Please, never stop this channel.
Awesome teamwork you two. It's amazing when both you have good plans.
God Bless!
Thank you!! 😃❤
