You are such a detailed teacher that you make it look so easy. I'm still working on my knit and purl but I did try the stitches you showed tonight and had fun with them. Can't wait to get brave enough to give this a try. Thank you for your tutorials!!!

I lost some of my purple when I fist started. In what section would you leave off some rows? I know it's hard to say but maybe I would eliminate rows 483-520 depending on how much I have left.

Love asymmetrical shawls I haven’t tried the yarn yet we don’t have it either. I’m having just a little trouble seeing the yarn your using for demo I guess because it’s white against the background but I’m also a newer knitter and have trouble with a kfb for some reason..
I’ve had some eye issues lately maybe it’s just me your a great teacher💕

It might not be you, others have pointed this out to me about this video.
The crazy thins is that I’ve used this yarn in the past and never had an issue with people not being able to see the stitches.
I’m sorry it was difficult for you. If you want more help with the KFB I do have a stand alone video you can watch: ua-cam.com/video/k9rWymMDxgM/v-deo.html

Is it possible to knit the pattern on larger needles and thicker yarn? For example, 6mm and DK yarn? Love the video, so easy to follow xx

hey there, new comer here. I loved your video! I am wondering what i would need to do to use another ball of yarn to make the shawl really big. Since it is a repeat pattern I imagine i would just start the rows over once i finish one ball and start the next, but idk what rows i would redo. Would i just pick any of them that i want (any of them from the repeat section that is)? Any helpful reply to this would be appreciated

Does this yarn unwrap in multiple strands? My cake pulls four strands, three are the same color and one is different. I'm trying to figure out if I need to take this cake by to the store or if this is actually how it unravels. If this is correct can the pattern be substituted with Worsted weight yarn?

It is a very thin yarn and hard to see on camera. It works very nice. The finished items I’ve made with it are simply beautiful.

Marly.., I am so excited.. Just ordered my first skein of Chic Sheep. I love purple, so I ordered Regal..
Do you think you will be adding self striping yarns to Chic Sheep? They would go great with the beautiful solids.. 💜💜😎

    • @MarlyBird

Will it be in the stores any time soon?

Great pattern! I love your tutorials! Can I substitute the yarn with yarn from my stash; it's Fine Weight 55% lambswool & 45% cotton, 1531 yard/200 grams?

    1. What an ingenious pattern! Thanks so much for your instructions!
    2. It's weird seeing you knit English style!
    3. But sometimes, you switch to Continental when you k2tog! What is happening!?! 😄
    4. That white yarn on the white background was harsh on my eyes.

Here's a hint. Use a wooden needle with this yarn. I started this 4 times with Chiagoo stainless needles. Kept dropping stitches. I changed to Knit picks wood and was able to finish this.

Why is the shawl curling? Blocking does not work on acrylic yarn.
