In the 1950s-1960s, my family 5 people and sometimes our dog) traveled all over the country in our station wagon. My dad built a “kitchen” a lot like yours that unfolded onto the back door. I remember my mom cooking on a little sterno stove on picnic tables. Fun times!
Thank you, Lulu, for interviewing Lisa. She has an engineer's mind. Very entertaining and incredibly creative! Thank you for cooperating with the interview! Your coordination is well thought out!! I like glass so much to be proud of!
“Everything is pretty much on Amazon.” True statement! I keep a running list of things I’ve tried to find locally, with no luck. Your stuff is very cool!
I love the great thought that was put into so much of this campervan Lisa. I especially like the storage containers with the safety storage for the bottles ! Awesome ! Your kitchen cabinet w/storage and folding table is so nice and neat. Do you really use all the electronics you have in this van often, microwave, toaster oven, and TV, or it is more for security knowing you have it if needed. Enjoy your travel Lisa :) Lulu, thank you for sharing this campervan build with us. ⭐
Wow! Very good “no build” build…..Lisa thought things out very well! Thanks so much for the van tour. I can’t wait to see the links for the things she used.
Hey Y'all, thanks for all the positive feedback on B3 Bougee Betty Boop. My 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan no-build build minivan campervan is not intended to be living like a minimalist, not that there's anything wrong with it. It was intended to be a self sufficient single occupancy sustainable unit. It has a serious redundancy plan built in. B3 has been evolving since 2021. The van was purchased used in 2020. It was my everyday vehicle and I love it. I always needed alot of room for military gear and home projects. So back in 2021 I had to travel like 2.5 hours to work on the military side and I knew I was going to end up sleeping in my van for the weekend. So it's been evolving since 2021 but really kicked off once I retired later that year in October. I knew I wanted to create a comfortable stealth campervan. There is more than just one option for sleeping, cooking, fuel, heating, seating, entertainment, cleaning and conducting personal hygiene. I do have a long term travel kit also. I have a swing out tailgate storage container for a diesel heater and recovery equipment. About 90% of the stuff was purchased on Amazon and the other stuff was HomeDepot. Many many hours spent researching UA-cam to learn how to build the window vents, folding shelf table, lagun style tables(not shown) and how to remove the minivan seats. I just tweaked or enhanced making it to meet my wants and needs. I think alot of folks forget that the seats are considerably heavy themselves and meant to hold 150plus pounds of weight. I have removed all seats so anything I put in there will never equal or exceed what the vehicle is meant to carry. We all may live a little differently, but we do have the same basic needs. It is my hope that everyone can takeaway ideas and encouragement from what I have displayed in the van tour. I have posted pics on other van life pages on how I built a few things and I do not have videos or my own UA-cam page. I had a great time at the meetup and met alot of lovely ladies. Nothing is impossible. Keep on camping!
In reading almost all of the comments, I have sensed a lot of jealousy here. Frankly Lisa, you rock! You, similarly, to me have become the man you wanted to marry. Hahaha! Thank you for demonstrating so much of the stuff. That will save me a lot of time (research and development). I am not keen on electricity, referring to the exhaust fans grouped together and where do you store the coroplast awnings that you made when not in transit? Thank you for your time and with your transparency
The folding table was made with a shelf purchased from HomeDepot online and the folding brackets were purchased on Amazon. The shelf is secured to the chrome wire storage cart with metal strapping and nuts and bolts purchased from HomeDepot.
Well, probably not as good as it could be because the speed limit where I live is up to 85 miles an hour and I do every bit of it and then some. LOL So to answer the question probably around 19-21mpg. but I don't really check. I just know I can get about 400 miles on a tank of gas.
My oh my...this lady has a Plan B to cover her Plan B...love all these fantastic ideas - so creative ! Wonderful use of space. Thank you for sharing.

Wow what skills.

She.is.prepared!
Brilliant 👏 👏
Need closeup of table . What parts and materials used. If possible 🙏🌞
hi Karen. I don't recall. maybe Lisa will see your comment and respond!! 😊
The folding table was made with a shelf purchased from HomeDepot online and the folding brackets were purchased on Amazon. The shelf is secured to the chrome wire storage cart with metal strapping and nuts and bolts purchased from HomeDepot.
Hello!!!!
Hope to meet up with all you ladies someday !!!
OMG, it's like Lisa and I share a brain!
i need a name or link for her storage bins that open from multiple sides?
I've added it to the description of this video.
👏🏼🥰
Look up the price of that cabinet lol 😅 😣
You can get much cheaper versions on other sites though.
Everything but a roof box 😂
🙌🏻👍🏻🙏
What’s her mileage with all that weight? Very clever things going on there.
I don't know, I didn't ask here, though that would have been a good question! 😊

wow all that cooking equipment.......is it necessary? she has a home too. commercial kitchen to go.............
I guess what is "necessary" is different for each of us! 😊
Very nice but would not work for me. To much stuff. Makes van look cluttered
I would like to know cost of those first cabinet set up
the link for those cabinets is in the description!
Hi Lulu, you buy baby socks and put them on your spice bottles
Lulu I like your
Van better. Lisa's seems so cluttered.
to each their own!! 😊
This set-up is totally amazing!!
