Very nice job, looks great and I would like to pass on a very important tipto get some self leveling sealer at the rv shop and go around the vent in the roof and cover the screws and you won’t have to worry about leaks

Great job Robert...........one thing that you might regret is not going a little extra for a lithium battery. You can get them on amozon for less that $400 now. Those lights are great we have them in our boat. You should put a cover over your roof vent.......cover made for protecting as you go down the road.

Awesome job. It’s all you need. I’ll offer a couple minor suggestions. For the rear cooking section, see if you can find a really solid slide out shelf. It can maybe double as the lid, so you don’t have to cook inside the storage area, and maybe, if you have the height, make it a pop up door or add a small awning so you can cook in crappy weather.
Most importantly, make sure you don’t store it with the mattress in. Always take it out when you get home, or it’ll mold for sure.
That awning window is awesome. I love it. Though you’ll need a screen somehow. Maybe make a lift up one?
Great job though. I wish I had the space to make my own like that.

Great job on the trailer build project. Just as a recommendation you might want to consider adding a roof vent cover over your roof vent. They are available usually for under $60 with the big advantage being that if it starts to get winding and or raining during the night the water wouldn’t come down on your mattress making things uncomfortable. I’m looking forward to see the video of your first outing with the pups 👍

Absolutely Awesome Job , like you said its a simple design , but yet its well designed and looks like you thought of everything that's required for such a trailer and then some.
Looking forward to seeing it out in the woods, I suspect it will serve you well.

    Awesome Brother!!
    You did some amazing work.
It’s nice simple and will definitely do the job for getting out of the elements while hunting, fishing and all adventures!!
I am an experienced 5th wheel camper owner/maintainer.
I would suggest covering the roof vent flange with a caulking gun of self leveling caulk and also cap it with the caps that face the rear and open.
This way the vent can also always remain open to prevent must & mold with constant airflow.
Also, I would make my own flange to go around the rear doors and main door with butyl tape to prevent water leaks.
With my camper I always wished I had 360 degrees of outdoor lights.
    You won’t regret.
Definitely also be A1 with a diy awning on the rear and side above entrance to stay out of the rain.
Other than that brother she’s mint !!!
Oh and don’t forget the power slide out!!! 🤣
    Cheers brother
Big hugs and high fives to the pups❤️

Wow you really went all out on that thing! Looks sturdy as a Winnebago! Great to have a welder in the family! Beware of mold on your mattress topper - open cell memory foam is very susceptible to mold, unlike closed cell foam. It happens to the roof top tent people all the time. I completely ruined my foam RV mattress myself, had to throw it on the bonfire. Maybe wrap the foam in a plastic mattress cover? Or just make sure to dry it after use. When I lived year round in the RV I used ccf and inflatable camping pads to prevent mold with great success.
