My daughter turned me onto your site! I am so glad she did. I am building a king and just cut all my pieces. Tomorrow is clean up of the wood and painting and kreg jig the holes for screws. THANK YOU! Very easy plans to follow!
Do the nightstands! My husband and I as well as our two kids just bought a house, it’ll be finished in April and we need a new bedroom set for our master! Would love to see a dresser to go with as well as the nightstands!

Yes, please! We need a new mattress and that’s leading into a whole new set-up. I want to try a futon, but would love the nightstand plans. I’m thinking that I’d the futon doesn’t work for us it can go in a guest bedroom and then we could use your headboard plans too! Thanks so much for sharing these!
Someday, they'll make designs that won't take skin off your knuckles tucking in the sheets. (I'm picky about having the sheets tucked under the mattress because the tend to ramble around during the night if I don't.) Lifting the mattress is not a great way for old (or very young) people to tuck. Hmmm. Maybe making the slats come above the side rails?? Or ... ? Anyway, they grow so fast!!!! If you start sewing school clothes at birth, you might be ready in time ... 🤣🤣

It would work well with the modern theme of the is bed, and their great for reading or netflix in bed with out getting a crink in your neck. LOL (PS how on earth is Everly walking? Wasn't she born like last week? 😂😉 She's precious btw)
I have a continental bed that I just... really dislike! Maybe I'll make something like this for it to keep the mattress in place (it shifting around is driving me nuts!!) Would absolutely love to see the headboard and nightstand plans too! Or maybe a similar project, but matching the farmhouse series you made would be great too!
Right now, I have a steel frame for my Purple bed and it's super squeaky and annoying. I've been wanting to get a new platform with the same height.. but made sturdier.. with no squeaking. Lol I wish I had the tools to do this.

I actually tried many of your projects and they all came out beautiful if I may say so myself! In would very much like to see the head board for the platform bed and some night stands if it's not too much trouble. Thanks again. She is so cute!
Surely, this is not cheaper when we add time, labor, manufacturer's profit and reseller's profit. Might be more costlier when we compare costing with bulk production which will make raw material more cheaper then buying for one bed.
Would love to see your take on a wood frame with possible upholstered headboard. I know it’s not your thing but suitable for a little girls room. Soft landing for jumping ? 😆
Wow Everley has a double bed? In UK she would still be in a cot until she learns to climb out. Once a child climbs out they go I to a single/ twin bed. Children in UK only go into a double bed once fully grown. Love the bed though. I'd like to see a headboard & side tables to match.

Anna have you thought about rounding the corners of the bottom? I have seen kids hurt themselves. Or add lots of padding around the corners. I am a grandmother who thinks of safety with our little ones especially who loves to play with them and make them laugh 👍

I really hate electric outlets behind a bed without a headboard. Please replace the broken plate on the behind this young child's bed. around here code would have required that outlet to be a tamper proof one... If yours is not consider child proof yours :)
I am needing to build a platform bed for a college apartment and wondering if when using pocket screws i can build completely at home then take apart and rebuild it at college apartment. Will the screws be reusable?

Nice looking bed frame but if your kids jump on the bed like mine, the legs with that one screw will never survive.

Great bed. I would add furniture slides to legs so you can move to vacuum. I have them on all my large furniture, it makes a huge difference.
